In this video I am taking a deep dive into the French Parisian style. I am sharing Style secrets of the French Parisian woman for plus size, as well as some Pinterest inspired outfits, and its all with the plus size apple shape in mind.
As a personal stylist I am always on the lookout for great plus size fashion and new style ideas and always with us apple shapes in mind. The French Parisian style can most definitely work for us all, let me show you x

At 12:00 Outfit 3- I love the outfit on you. It may not hide the tummy 100%, but it is really nice on you. I also love V-neck tops on you a lot. It seems when I love an outfit on you, you're wearing a V-neck top. Also, red lipstick is timeless 😁 Outfit 5 is stunning.

As you pointed out there seemed to be no belts. I watch 2 French styling channels and both have belts on their no go list as they say it cuts you in half. I notice the French style aims to make you look longer but they wear slim fitting pants that finish at the ankles. Their shoes are often in the nude range so it helps give them longer shoe look. I wonder because they are both slender women that they are more rectangular and why a belt is wrong.
I often think belts are such a personal choice. Personally as you know I’m a fan, and as I researched I saw both. With and without on the “must have” lists. Hard to know really lol

I've added a few of these to my wardrobe app. I have a yet to wear Chanel style jacket & tried it on with jeans, a denim skirt and over a black dress. All looked horrible. I don't think I realised just how cropped it is. And the colour is more vanilla so white under it feels odd, black too dark. I had a leopard print shirt right next to it..and you know what that was probably the best match! I have to agree, easy to love but hard to style

Great video and you look gorgeous! I love the white blouse full tucked with the blazer but I love the second outfit French tucked and I think you should wear it that way. You can wear anything any way you like. I just like how you styled everything in the video. ❤

The Parisian style seems to be in Montreal 🇨🇦 too, as I’ve noticed when I visit, the ladies tend to look chic & put together, even just on a weekend trip for groceries.

I’m more morbihan than Parisian so hippy v tailored.
We stayed at a hotel run by husband and wife bit like faulty towers with a Michelin restaurant. In a morning you would see her in an old fashioned cleaning coat and marigolds but of a night serving in the restaurant it was French designer classics and a wardrobe most women would kill for.
But she had her own style grey blunt cut Bob and she just oozed style.

Your button down shirts would look better if you sew a small, hidden snap between buttons on your chest. This will stop the gaping that looks sloppy.
When I wear it I use a safety pin. But for filming it simply takes too long so I don’t bother. A snap is a good idea x
