Ok we get it. Oversized striped Lilly silk blouse. The same one every other influencer is pushing. Egad Lilly silk is everywhere. The red blouse and it’s combinations was my favourite.
I think it’s a very good brand offering really high quality and timeless design for a good price. It’s very easy for any influencer to pull the looks together with their pieces.
In this case, Lily Silk is the so I sir so it’ll be pushed even more.
It’s better than Walmart or Amazon lol ❤ I like lily silk and have a few pieces myself ❤
@@Rositasparks ..missed the point Rose
Yes. I think every influencer I watch has that blouse and so do I!!
I love the way you explain so clearly WHY certain combinations work, while others don't. This is an incredibly informative video. Thank you.
It would be interesting to have a video on how to style black 💡
You are absolutely amazing! I thought the red blouse with black trousers looked so nice and wondered how it could be "wrongish", but when I saw how drastically you elevated it, I was gobsmacked! Often, while watching you videos, I react out loud, saying "Ohhh!" or "Wow!!", "Whuuut?' etc. You are the Queen of the style 'net.
And wearing white silk trousers in rainy England is really practical 😂 10:31
😂 I hear you!! Same for us in Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦
Yeah😂😂😂
😂😂😂
I enjoyed this video. I do think you should wear a red or flesh color bra with the red blouse.
Only because there is no black in the outfit to match. I love a see-through bra. When done properly, it's sexy chic.
Compassion is always in fashion! Faux is the way to go. No need to kill the silk worms. ❤
Exactly. No need. I will never understand this silk Philosophie.😢
Aaaaarrrghhh....not more effing Lily bloody Silk!!!!!😂😂😂
Faux is the way to go! No need to kill the silk worms! ❤
I had never heard of it before today. I certainly could not afford to purchase anything from there!
She's trying to make a living! 🙂 The items' colour & patterns illustrate her points well.
@@amypagekaviani5661also , they don’t tell you it’s coming all the way from Japan . I made the mistake of ordering one thing . And the whole thing took forever and was one big hassle ! I don’t recommend them … plus the silk is not of that great quality of what is out there in the States …
@lwalters 1951...Silk sheets silk pyjamas 😂😂😂 live in the stuff😂 never leave home without it😂😂
Every outfit is fantastic❤ I really love how you have elevated each of them, they all look gorgeous to me 😍
Lilly-Silk überall....na gut.
Aber Socken, auch noch rot, in solchen Schuhen...niemals 😮
This video is exactly the type of information that I've been seeking. Thank you. ❤❤❤
Marvelous. Your suggestions are fabulous.
I’m probably every influencer’s nightmare audience since I never buy the promoted products, but I still like your content… the cuts and colours I’m into this year aren’t “trending” but I don’t mind. ❤ Your accent is adorable, too!
I loved gray combination with your husband's jacket. I think I like it as that would be colours going well with my complieation.
Useful advice.I have to highlight the quality materials again👌
Thank you😊
Fantastic advice! Its amazing how you transform the dull to delicious! So many people do the black trouser with an equal proportion of a dull colour. When i was working we had to wear black with royal blue and it felt so dull. Your advice is so good. I love the white with champagne combination, so sparkling and fresh. I feel like throwing my black trousers away !
Thank you, Diana. I absolutely love your videos, so informative ❤🙏🙏
You are so welcome! 🤗
You've done a lovely job with this video👍
😊Diana, you certainly live up to your motto. In fact, when it comes to matters of elegance, you dress rather
💫 spectacularly 💫.
🌈 Color can be so complex. You've made an excellent point about the importance of our matching UNDERTONES. From lights to brights & even in the neutral range, it can truly make an outfit sing🎶.
Likewise, our matching color INTENSITY can also make an outfit look smarter. I have also come to the belief that black doesn't always serve color to their best advantage. Still, there are times this combo can 🎉pop🎉.
🤔Thought that the red blouse w/both the black & white trousers were HIGH⚡️INTENSITY choices. 🎭 Both combos were highly theatrical. You must have a high intensity personality &/or confidence to match it. Otherwise, both these combos could easily overwhelm you😂.
Of those two looks, I actually liked the 🖤black best. Thought the red top went
🤜toe to toe🤛 w/the black pants😁. While the red blouse 👊overpowered the white trouser😵. It put MORE focus on the choppy color extremes & made it seem slightly top heavy😔.
Only some ppl are capable of pulling off either high voltage look. Going for a more blended look w/the red would dial down⬇️ some of that intensity😵💫. Going 1-2 shades lighter in the pink direction for the bottom (skirt or pant) still leans dramatic, but would be considered a softer feminine♀️ pairing.
🧐If you want to turn down the glamour factor even more, that red show piece blouse could work amazingly w/a soft neutral. A camel/khaki skirt or dark gray trouser would still be striking, but also much easier on the eye overall.
More color analysis is always appreciated.

Thank you for such a detailed feedback!
Absolutely beautiful haul! ❤
Thank you Rosita!! 😊💙
Always fabulous! Thank you for these great tips!
You are so welcome! 🤗
Very good Video, great content, thanks so much dear Diana 🎀🌸
Love your video! Love your information and your positive attitude!
Thank you so much!☺️
Great Diana! Everything about fashion seems chaotic to me but your videos have helped me tremendously. You are the best! I only would just like to mention that in the latest videos we see a lot of outfits with white pants or a white skirt. They are beautiful but I would also like some ideas for black pants or skirt.
Another lovely video! Thank you for all you put into them. I can use the techniques in our winter. I live in an area where it's already hot and humid. Plus, I'm going through hot flashes, I have to choose light cotton and linen options to stay to as cool as possible. Layering, with sweaters or jackets, is adding to the hot feel, but lightweight vests work. Please do a video on looking our best when needing to wear fewer items and stay cool in a hot/humid environment. Thank you!!😊
Yes, many of her lovely options here are more suitable for Winter.
🥰Love, love, love blazers, but like you I also live in a hot climate. High heat & shining sun😎 is our norm. They're a great topper when our temps drop to 60s (or below ⬇️) in Winter & sometimes Spring or late Fall (if we're lucky🍀).
🧐If you work in certain office bldgs or visit other public places (like hospitals, libraries, museums, movie theatres, etc.) where the A/C has a tendency to be on arctic🥶 blast esp. when the mercury rises〰️it's the only time you can wear a blazer INSIDE comfortably. It must come off BEFORE you exit the facility...
😊Gilets, vests; soft, light button ups; & shirt dresses are my favorite toppers. I've always preferred cotton & rayon to linen or silk. 😖Dislike turning into a wrinkled mess by days end & the other rarely feels nice directly against my skin😔.
😉While I own a bazillion suits from my corporate days that I can now wear as separates occasionally〰️I only own ONE knit cardi & ONE cashmere jumper. Can sometimes use these pieces from late Spring to early Fall as a LIGHT covering if I visit certain suburbs South of the Santa Monica Mtn range.
☀️While the Valley & Inland areas bake in triple digits🌡, there are these 🤏 small pockets of 🌬cool coastal🌫 influences in the greater LA area (like Hollywood, Westwood, Santa Monica, Culver City) that can actually be a quite 😵chilly & brisk 70s.
😕Believe it or not, that's actually a HUGE departure from our mild & wholly delightful 70s. Of course, after we're bombarded w/heatwave after heatwave in the 100s, anything in the 80s/90s actually starts to feel rather divine✨️ in comparison.
🤔Sport & utility tech fabrics have come a long way too. Those moisture wicking properties have been a saving grace🥵 for me in our extreme environment. Plus, a lot of these fabrics come w/UV protection too. Of course, we typically experience a dry, desert heat 🏜 over your miserable humidity. As a result, I've come to love❤ these lightweight, breathable fabrics year round.
👖Can't stand jeans anymore😂, they simply feel too structured & heavy. Love denim, but I stick w/light weight button ups or dresses.
😍Adore my denim vest, but it's one of the first things that gets shelved once the heat starts to spike. Actually some button front denim dresses can often work superbly as a light gilet in hotter months.
🌞The majority of my full length trousers go back in the closet between late Spring-early Fall too. Cropped trousers are far more bearable when temp's truly start to roast🔥, but I do the most of my living in skorts/skirts during this time period.
🤗Frankly, we need more fashion influencers who actually understand the true rigors of high heat, blistering sun, & also humidity. Someone who doesn't go straight from temp controlled cars🚘 to temp controlled 🏘structures🏤 too. Blessings...

Fantastic Diana 🥰🥰🥰🙃
Диана, все. Ваши образы : лаконичные, стильные, красивые.. Спасибо,. Вам за полезные советы и эстетику.
Love the grey/black shoes❤ I only wear grey with white it seems the only combo that works on me 🤷♀️great video as Red is lovely in winter (I’m in Australia 🇦🇺) but it definitely is a bit difficult to wear well🙏
I liked all the outfits except the red socks
I enjoyed the video, yet I'm confused, are ill fitting blazers/jackets in style this season? I couldn't help but notice that nearly all of the blazers shown appear way too big for you (not the one from your husbands closet, the examples from the beginning of the video), esp in the waist area. It looks like they need tailoring, which takes away the elegant look; in my opinion anyway.
I liked the black striped white jacket toning down the red blouse.
Excellent video. Thanks.
Marvelous illustrations !
I like the last outfit . I don't really wear beige tones but I love the champagne wide pants bueatiful.
Greta video-your shoes are incredible. I wish Mango sold size 11s. Thanks ❤
LOVE the scarlet blouse, white trousers and black belt! 😍😍😍 (As a French speaker, bravo for your pronunciation of merlot❤)
I'm not a french speaker an I googled this word by the microphone- to understand what color this is. And as I saw the writing, I surely recognised it. I thought, she has a strange accent. Good to learn that this was the french pronunciation.
I like your style very much and all the outfits are super chic. Just the ref socks on sling backs ,...🙃
The video is good, but when I had my colors done years ago, it didn't matter. You are limited by the colors the store sells. Try to find a crimson red when bold red is in that year. It will never happen. The same with hunter green vs. store carrying yellow green, light blue is and you will not find navy blue anywhere. Fashion dictates what colors are in stores
That's why I started to sew my own clothing. It is much easier to get fabric in right colour than ready made garments.
I really appreciated the explanation about how to differentiate cool toned beiges and greys from warm toned ones.
My favourite outfit was the grey on grey blazer one. I have muted cool colouring and get totally overshadowed by high value contrast whether it’s in a pattern or between separate pieces.
Red and black fit perfectly😊
If you live in the 80s 😂
Love this video but how about the garnet red?? What color pant would work et k with that color?? ❤️❤️❤️
It would be useful to know your height and size for reference (you generally give the size you’re wearing) to save on expensive and non eco friendly returns. I’ve found that a UK size 10 can be a L or even XL in some of the Chinese brands like Goelia.
I like your style,very fashionable.👍👍
☺️ thank you!
Good eye for what looks good.
Hi, thanks for the video! Any chance you can share where you got the striped clutch and the silver pumps, please?
As said above it would be great to have an explanation on black.
Link to those cat eye sunglasses, please. Or can you make a video of affordable sunglasses (and accessories for spring/summer)? Thank you!
I just cannot do those mesh shoes! They seem "messy" to me. This trend is not for me, ah well.
I understand))
Love all the outfits including the red socks! You are so talented at this.
Diana, are you the cool type? This red blouse adds age for you, as for me. Why? You look great in white, beige, and grey
I am definitely a cool type. As for the blouse i think it’s not the colour but the pussy bow that may give more mature impression. I normally let the strands loose to make it more relaxed, but in this case I kept them tied together for the microphone))
Thank you for clarifying the difference between warm, cool and neutral shades of some of these colors. That is helpful. I’m glad you’re having fun with fashion however, socks and heels would be a “no go” for me.😂
Glad it was helpful! As for shoes socks, my job is to show you out of the box options, but it’s still up to you to decide wether they work for you or not 😀
I didn't like socks with shoes either until I tried it. Now, I love the look. Socks with Mary Janes and slingbacks are awesome, lol. I'm 60, and I find socks ease my feet as well. Plus, I found that ankle/crew socks are more comfortable than no-show socks with sneakers/walking shoes. If you seek comfort, try flesh-colored socks so people (or you) can't see them.
I like black and red! ❤❤❤
All of them❤❤❤❤❤
I live the grey snd white with your husband’s jacy🎉
I love your suggestions, but wearing a t-shirt, sweater, and blazer is unrealistic in tropical areas. How about styling shorts, knee lenghth skirts, short sleeveed tops/blouses & sundresses?
Very very cool❤
Hi Diana, You are lovely and your color combos great! (Beige is pronounced BASHE with a long A ) Thank you.
I can not find the link to 2 questions to give us idea of what looks good on us. Please help. I am loving you. I just found you 3 days ago I love it.
About half of the year, it is too warm where I live to wear a jacket. So I wear a blouse and pants or skirt, or dress. So I choose a patterned top with solid bottoms.
I just love the way you keep callig beige 'bash'. Very charming indeed.
☺️🙈
after you said that I laughed every time I heard it lol
I was gonna ask what bash is 😂😂😂
I want to invest in a couple of really nice blazers. White for Summer and Black or Navy Blue for fall/winter. Is there a particular brand you could recommend? Not too expensive, but I’m willing to pay a bit more for something that will last and stay current. I love your style. Simple and elegant ❤️
Check out Massimo dutti if you prefer more tailored fits, or cos for straight and oversized models . Zara are also very good in blazers fits, just pay attention to the fabric. I would not go for their basic models, but the more expensive ones are great. I have a lot of them
It's nice to see the friendly light grey looking great. I thought, grey would be reserved for 90+ agers.
I used to wear a gray suit with a french blue oxford. I got a lot of compliments.
No to red sock😊
Red pantyhose would be striking.
Super zestawienia❤uwielbiam granat i popielaty...łączenia z czerwienią, bielą...ja jeszcze z różem, p9zdrawiam serdecznie 😊
Forget the red socks, no, no, no! I don’t think so
Nobody dresses like her in New Zealand 😂
Nor in Australia or Canada either for that matter
ARRRGH!! Not Lily Silk again!
Not a fan of oversized clothing on anyone of any size of any age. I lived through the 80s in the best shape of my life hidden underneath ridiculous clown clothes!
I love your style. The only thing that I would do is to ensure that the hardware on clothes, bags and shoes are the same! But thats me 😊
I don’t really mind, to be honest, also because I mix different tone jewellery.
Fantastic video you are gorgeous and so are these looks on you. Personally, I think anybody but a tall thin person looks Dreadful in such baggy clothes unless they had flowing hair to balance the whole masculine vibe. It's very chic no doubt but just a little too formal and curated a look for someone 53 and curvy.
I wear red and black. I wear read and black PLAID PANTS. I do not want to look like I’m ready for yachting or pickleball
Just now I followed in your ig🎉
Awsome looks I would say the Beige was the best 2me #blessing
I would Never put red socks with anything
Great advice on upgrading a look. Oh, but is it an absolute must to own a blue and white Lily Silk shirt? Every stylist seems to be pushing them!! Isn't there an alternative??😂
Long sleeves that cover the hand? Always taught they should be tailored to wrist?
Дуже цікаві образи. Сміливі та "дорогі"
Red socks ok with trainers but not heels!
Prada does this look and has done it for many years. It's youthful and fun.
Please do a video on how to wear and pair up Black pants. Many women opt for black slacks because they are slimming. Is White the only color you can wear with black slacks???????
I agree, not big on white even in the summer. It washes me out.
You can wear blush tones and jewel tones with black..how I do it, is I look for items that mix black with colors..example is her pointed flat shoes that are silver wingtip..I'd wear those with trousers and metallic Grey or silver silk blouse and a red bag for pop of color or even fushia
The red blouse is nice but it’s cheapened with the black bra underneath.
Великолепная!
Your channel is awesome. As a subscriber I was wondering if you could use more RICHLY melanated women as examples with color swatches when you use images? It would help so much. Thank you in advance and thank you for all that you do.
Your coloring looks more like mine and I find that (#2) neutrals of cool and warm tones don't play well together so close to our face. I might have used a whiter color with the taupe colors and used the ivory as an after-thought but your coloring (like mine) does not look as good with the boldest piece (a jacket) of ivory.
Perhaps it would have been safer if the jacket had been different but that WAY oversized jacket on you swallows you and does not look good even with any color. I have done those colors together but not closest to my face. I use a pashmina (worn scarf like) of taupe with a jacket of ivory and ivory pants and white blouse which works perfect.
I don't like a lot of red and black together. It looks like a bullfight. However, I like black and red together in small doses of black with some red peeking through and more neutrals like white, taupe and ivory. You did a fantastic job with most. It's not the colors, but I think it is "our" coloring. You and I have the same color, I believe.
Love what you did with the grey. That's how I wear it. Love everything you have done but the neutrals of taupe, ivory, etc. But we all have different taste
Hate the red socks. Do these people not sweat?
No red socks ,please!!! Im italian!
Is there something I don’t know about Italians and red socks? You made me curious 😀
Italian women NEVER wear socks with skirt and elegant shoes . We can`t see, especially red ! 😅
Thanks for adding at least one brown skin tone
I live in Florida all beautiful and elegant but the can’t wear all those beautiful blazers!!!
Do some elegant looks for hot hot weather!!
What you do is easy your challenge try a high humidity high heat look 👀 that’s elegant!!
Are you up to it? I hope so you have great taste.
GREY & dark RED ?
Wonderful ideas on combos. However, you looked lovely in the grey/gold combos. I realize this "violates" pairing cool with cool or warm with warm, but that particular combo was fresh and pleasing.
The red, striped socks in the high heeled shoes are against all recommendations not to cut the long leg optical. It would be ok with tights.
😊Yes, but I didn't hate it in this case. It kinda gives an impression of a quirky ankle boot. The fact there was color coordination in the ensemble made the combination more visually pleasing & less jarring.
The beauty of fashion rules is that they can be broken. There are lots of solutions & work arounds for them too. Besides, when your body proportions skew more like a 📸traditional runway or print model (i.e., extra tall & lean)〰️you can afford to break MORE rules.
⏳️As an extreme hourglass obsessed w/slimming & elongation, this isn't something I would ever be tempted do.

I have a question about undergarments for these outfits..I notice you used a dark bra? Is that a look? or would you recommend a nude instead? (sorry my eye kept goiing to that conttrss6 with the read and cashmere tops)
I really wanted to make it less classic and more provocative inspired by YSL signature looks from last season. I like when the bra works as an accessory. But if you prefer more classic style of course nude is the best option.
@@dianagoss ahh,, I can appreciate that idea too bra as an accessory used to be a thing with a blazer I recall...and I can appreciate that..however, if ysl ever does dark underwear under pants or skirt I would not like that for sure:)
Why do the fashion houses make all jackets with over long sleeves which always looks dreadful. We are not orangutans!I tailor all my clothes to fit me and virtually every jacket needs to have the sleeves shortened.
Both jackets looked too big.
❤ 12:06
You are beautiful, so you will look great even with the styling shown in ❌. 💖💖💖
Very nice...minus the red socks with the sling backs. Must be a European thing. I expected the comments section to flooded with sock comments! That would just not work in America. Socks with anything but sneakers (or "trainers" as you call them) is a hard no here. Cute socks though!
😊Yes, a part of me thinks they look fun & feminine, but I would feel absolutely absurd😖 in socks w/heels or sandals. Strikes me as the same awkwardness of my dad in dress socks & shorts in summer😳.
Just barely got to the stage where I can tolerate a silly patterned sock "pop" under a full length trouser & loafer or cuffed pant & an ankle boot.
😎Our sunny climate has pushed us to ⬅️extremes➡️ in this department. "Naked" socks still reign supreme in Los Angeles. 🥵We're so miserable & uncomfortable once it heats up, we don't even want to feel let alone see socks covering the ankles.
When fellow Valley♂️ resident Ryan Seacrest first joined Kelly Ripa on the morning show📺 in NYC, he was getting torn apart by national viewers for his naked socks.
🥶Freezing temps or not, it took Ryan (& my father🥰) quite a while to adjust to wearing regular socks w/sneakers. 😉That would be a tough transition for me too.

Thanks, nice video. I am a bit tired of lily silk on so many platforms, I appreciate the quality, but it’s too repetitive.
Just wondering why you spoil the red blouse with wearing a black bra underneath?
What exactly do you mean by " bash" please ?!
