Damn after murloc nerf Kripp got twice as salty.
And rightfully so. The last patch did some really necessary nerfs, but it feels unfinished.
Packleader at 2star is too good (I would suggest 2/2 that buffs beasts +2attack and is a beast itself /OR/ 3/3 that buffs +2attack.
Murlocs lack SOMEthing (I would suggest a non-murloc at 6star with "Battlecry: Choose one: Give a Murloc DShield, Poisonous or Windfury")
In my personal opinion though, the main offender is still the huge amount of RNG and the feeling of an increase in the gap between lowroll and highroll. (I wold suggest adding an additional minion to all tiers).

Honestly, they should just get rid of Amalgadon. All late game builds revolve around getting Amalgadon with Divine Shield and Poisonous and then having good attacks to snipe off 2 big minions.
I have no idea what they were thinking when they added it, right after removing some Divine Shield + Poisonous Mackarel shenanigans and continuing to keep it after removing Megasaur which was the way of getting Divine Shield + Poisonous murlocs...
Remove Amalgadon. Put a new Murloc T6 card. Maybe Underbelly Angler for pseudo Murloc hero shenanigans, or Neptulon for some late game gas, or something new entirely (That doesn't have/give Divine Shield)
Toxfin go to 6, just look at maexxna standing at that corner
Well amalgam was the best unit at tier 2 back then at least it's a tier 6 now

@@ogsolmyr5322 Funnily enough I am much lower MMR than him, only at 8k and not only that, but he's a lot better than me. But I also only play 1 or 2 games a day, if that.

Tokens should be considered tavern 0 cards. They seem to be what deal the most damage early on.
I've been thinking about it. It would make i possible to only take 1 damage and reduces the average amount of dmg taken in one turn by 3 points, which over 5 rounds is 15 damage. It keeps token centric characters like deathwing powerful without being totally busted

It's too broken on tavern 3. It's kinda bad at tavern 4, but it definitely has its place. I've been playing Jaraxxus relatively often since megasaur got removed, and watcher has been the star of the build a few times, alongside wrath weaver of course. Removing it seems kinda lame. Maybe adding more synergy could work? Like another damage yourself for benefit card, could be cool
@@jeroenverschaeve3090 it used to be OP but with how fast the current meta is i think it´d be fine. demons are pretty sucky right now (except for with jaraxxus, he´s sleeper op).
It's really awkward on 4... Since Demons is either a Juggler build that wants token demons (Imp Gang Boss, Voidlord, Imp Mama) or is a Wrathweaver scaling build that wants to transition into Mal'Ganis.
The fact that the card only really works when you also have a Wrathweaver is odd too... It'd make more sense to replace it with a new demon card on 4 (Also, replace Siegebreaker, that card is irrelevant too, it's total garbage and really only notable when spawned by Imp Mama instead of the 3/1 Battlemasters that she like to make 99% of the time I play her...)

Reducing damage early could be done by making the damage done by tavern tier be - the opponent's tavern tier.
eg if you are tavern 1 and you beat someone on tavern 2 you deal the on board damage -1 because of the tavern tier difference.
Ah good. A full game of Kripp not knowing anything about probability and thinking anything above 45% in his favor should be the same as 100%.
Another way to play murlocs is manually poisoning 4, then get baron and tripple selfless hero, then you have a build close to old galactic Murlocs with divine/posion.
love how every single of the last 4 guys plays Mech refresh and all of them are lucky with that against Kripp^^

How would you feel if they put murgur murgurgle in battlegrounds as a way to buff murlocs. A divine shield murloc at tier 3 or 4.
Murlocs are pretty good in the early game and they're better in the middle game than they used to be. Plus they're pretty much the best build if you get the stats pretty high and find a few toxfins.

Im guessing but spawn into shredder into unstable ghoul which would kill divine shields a 50% into a 25% into a 15% is around 0.1%

I've been doing very good with murlocs, 1st or second place, buying toxfins and going to 5 fast to get brann (6k mmr)

They should make Georges hero power 2 or 1 cost, give a friendly minion divine shield for the next turn and repeatable or something along those lines. Could make him viable as well as murlocs.

I believe murlocs are more powerful than we first thought with this patch. Possibly still top tier build
Yeah, with an early enough Brann you can scale Murlocs to rival that of Pirate/Beast/Demon highrolls. The only builds that really gives them much trouble, is Dragons and Mechs because of Divine Shields.
But you can often bully Dragon builds out of the game before they get both Nadina and Kalecgos AND get some relevant stats onto their dragons.
The only reason they "Suck" now, is because you can't just highroll a couple of Murlocs and hit a random Megasaur off of a triple on 5 and get Divine Shield + Poison to carry you through several rounds while you buff their health. Which happens to be Kripp's typical "Murloc Strat"...
There is actually a very simple reason to Kripp being unlucky. He just played enough games to get to that point.
Why don't they remove brann instead of removing megasaur?
Because brann can work with any build and tends to be really fun
Right now murlocs don't have anything on 6, which means triple on 5 doesn't really do anything.
They should add a new tier 6 murloc with battlecry & deathrattle give a random friendly murloc divine shield
They need to move coldlight seer back to tier 2. It's not cutting it anymore at tier 3.
"playing spell druid feels pretty bad after the Kael'Thas nerf" - it hardly changed anything, most of the cheap spells Druid used to activate Kael'Thas gave them the Mana to play the 3rd spell for 1 Mana.

To have a successful Mackerel you’d need to get something with divine shield which means you’d either only be able to play it as George or you’d have to get minions from other classes and then you can’t fully monopolize on murlocs
Caleb Murray no way, because all you need is a single selfless hero or righteous protector and you can get them pinging shields back and forth. The power was in having 2 on board keeping their shields up.

They should just add that paladin dragon that gives Murlocs divine shield. And make toxfin a teir 5 minion.
Murloc gets health and attack buff very easily esp with lookout being t-4. If they get guaranteed divine shield it would again make them very powerful than other late game builds

I mean he's not wrong, SO many matches where his luck is incredibly bad, compared to other streamers. However he forgets the attacks are randomized, and having a percentage to go off of are simply numbers, and anything can happen. Once that addon came out it took away the suspense of the game

@@DW_7 Im just saying how he is in general. No matter the outcome, hes usually pretty salty. Its HS BGs, most of the game revolves around this. I cant count how many times ive lost a 25% chance to lose, but thats literally just the game.
