Sikorsky is right when it comes to equipment used by the Germans in the beginning of the Second World War. Even in 1940 for the invasion of France the German infantry used czech small arms very successfully. The Czech are actually peaceful and harmonic people, but they do make good weapons, and if necessary know how to fight. The best pilot during the battle of Britain was Josef Frantisek, who had fought the Germans in Poland, France and Britain after fleeing with his plane during the annexation of his country by the Germans in 1938. He fought with great skill and success becoming the pilot with the highest score of enemy aircraft kills flying a Hurricane, not even a Spitfire (until he was shot down and died in October 1940).

@@harveybrown37 I don't know, but I would not be surprised as the Germans used them successfully - which points at a comparable logistical situation. If they were copies they would most probably have interchangeable parts and thus be easy to maintain and supply in traditional Panzer III units. I think the chassis were later used for other species like tank destroyers (Panzerjaeger).

I assume that planes into Tartu need to use GPS when they cant do a visual approach. but the ideal solution would be to install the kit for an ILS as this is a focused beam thingy used to guide the plane in - and much harder to interfere with. It's a common occurrence to have the Russians jamming gps and meddling closee to Natos border so having a fall back like ILS at every airport close to Russia'a border to protect civilian aviation ought to have been done long agoI think a blockade would send a clear message but Kaliningrad has got a long ish coast line. . If the Ukrainians could take out St. Petrsburg airport's ILS aproach transmitter with a drone and Nato could rock up with a warship in the narrow gulf of Finland to jam them back you could cut off Russia's 2nd city by air and sea and stop their oil exports too!
