I have been running the Skyrc GSM020 since it came out and have ran comparison after comparison with other gps units from the Garmins to gps tracker systems on a friends 18 wheel simi truck , The skyrc is where it at. Refresh time means everything with a car going 200+ft per second
Beautiful Workshop Raz! Glad you've got the SkyRC... I've been using it a while now, and it's really nice and easy to use, and compact enough to not get in the way! 'Drag' 0-60 tests are also good fun!

Great info.glad I watched this video cause I literally just installed the skyrc gsm020 analyzer on my 2wd slash yesterday that I built for high speed runs.im looking forward to trying it out once I get a couple more things needed to tighten car up a bit better.main thing is new wheel adapters since the mip ones I bought won't tighten down enough on front end so got a bit of wheel whobble.

Speed Freak no gps works inside a CF hull mate - but it does with GF hatch (like i have in all my boats). But this Unit has 10hz refresh which let alone makes a big difference.

Sky rc makes a GPS with the same technology as the performance analyzer but has a screen on it like the Garmin so it is much easier to show GPS zeroed out
You said something about crashing. If you crash with the sky rc. Will that give you a higher speed. You think you can show a video with a basher car to show us what the difference it would make. I emailed Sky Rc and they emailed back saying it's not going to increase speed because there is a momentary stop for when you crash the forward progress the satellites are reading is no longer saving the reduced speed at the moment of impact because it's slower after the crash. Thus only saving the top speed before crash.
I am no Garmin fan/hater nor SkyRC fan/hater but time refreshing isn't actually meaning more ACCURATE. I think the most accurate are laser speed scanner used by cops, then you can compare and see the reality or even check with a real car speedometer...
Just bc it had a higher SPEED reading doesn't mean its accurate. You should of tested this in a vehicle and take video of the speedometer, the garmin, and the bluetooth gps and see which system is closest to the cars speedometer. That would be a much accurate and more validation test then what you just did with the RC car. Like how do you know the bluetooth GPS is giving you an accurate reading vs the garmin if you have no acurate way of measuring or comparing the speed test with something that is accurate? You are like promoting this device without even getting solid concrete evidence that its accurate and it legit. This is why it is so hard to trust majority of the reviewers you see online now and days.

Does it work inside a CF Boat hull that is the question, because for me it does not and i have to put the GPS on the outside of the boat 😣

What have you done to the suspension geometry for it to handle that much power without it crashing or is it stock?
