SWING Trim Tuning Tutorial for your LIBRA RS & SPHERA RS

2-line paragliders are very sensitive to trimming, the lines will stretch or shrink during use. The glider will fly a little slower and the handling may change. To avoid this, the LIBRA RS and SPHERA RS are delivered with knots/loops in the main lines at the Maillon Rapide, so that you can easily correct and optimize the trim yourself.
After about 10-20 hours of flight you should do a trim check. To make this check easy and almost tool-less, we have made the lengths of the line groups the same for the LIBRA RS, SPHERA RS and all other current models in our range. This allows you to compare, for example, main line A1 with main lines B1 and C1 and, if necessary, adjust them by opening or inserting a loop/knot on the maillon rapide.

2-Leiner sind sehr empfindlich auf Vertrimmung und nach einigen Flugstunden dehnen oder verkürzen sich die Leinen. Der Schirm wird dann etwas langsamer und auch das Handling kann sich verändern. Um dies zu vermeiden, werden der LIBRA RS und der SPHERA RS ab Werk mit Knoten/Loops in den Stammleinen am Leinenschloss ausgeliefert, mit denen man den Trimm sehr einfach selbst korrigieren und optimieren kann.
Nach ca. 10 - 20 Flugstunden sollte ein Trim-Check durchgeführt werden. Um diesen Check einfach und fast ohne Hilfsmittel durchführen zu können, haben wir beim LIBRA RS und SPHERA RS, wie auch bei allen anderen aktuellen Schirmen unserer Produktpalette, die Längen der Leinengruppen gleich gemacht. So kann man z.B. die Stammleine A1 mit der Stammleine B1 und der Stammleine C1 vergleichen und ggf. durch Öffnen oder Einfügen eines Loops / Knotens am Leinenschloss anpassen.
