- Been 3 years since my last Anakin Skywalker Tribute and I have to say this one broke me. Anakin was a slave on Tattooine, a slave to the order, and a slave to the empire. Only found peace amidst defeat by his son, whom never gave up on him.

@@ADedits9 I can brand myself, work hard and get followers in social media, but for what?! There is no money in it, no awards. Sadly the only way is Hollywood, at the Oscar's for best video editing award, and that is working for somebody else, not yourself. The only benefit we get as video editors for doing this fan edits, is doing what we love for pleasure.

I can literally see all of this going through Anakin’s mind as the emperor is frying Luke in ROTJ! Amazingly we’ll done! It triggers every emotion in the right order!

The transitions between Anakin and Luke both almost dying in fire and ice at 2:38 are on point
This is so moving, really a testament to the power of a great edit.
What a wonderful edit man brilliant work! You heart and soul clearly shows in this piece and that's crazy you spent a year on it. A commitment like that is not easy and this definitely payed off! Also, let me say some of the cuts in this was phenomenal, especially at 4:27, *chef's kiss*
I would have to leave it and come back a lot. I am really trying to imporve from the last one but I constantly felt like it was never hitting the mark. I was never happy. So many music changes, dialogue changes, idk maybe to my detriment lol. you know how it is. I really appreciate you man. I really love this community we have.

Fantastic work! Top-notch editing. The transitions from 1:59 to 2:01 were amazing! Anakin standing before the council as a kid, then as an adult 🤯to the final transition into Vader! All the transitions from Vader to Luke from 4:23 to 4:28 were awesome as well. Particularly the Force push. Subscribed. You are very talented!

I believe this video shows how much pressure he went through his life and he never got a break, always having to be someone he never wanted to be and inn the end it broke him, luckily Luke saved him

4:43 gave me real chills. All the way up to the end. Anakin wanted nothing more than to make the right decision and run away with his boy. But he knew the power of his master. Yet in the end he made that decision. For all the darkness he'd left the galaxy in, for everyone he slaughtered he could still save one. He smashed his chains and cast the dark side made flesh into the abyss.

The emotion.... the Lucas Star wars movies were so epic and told you a story that pulled you in. Disney can't copy it because they just don't care about anything but the bottom line. This is a great edit!
Vader was always my favorite antagonist. Then when the prequels came and added the tragic figure aspect to him, the extra character development enhanced it. This edit, does a wonderful job of bringing this threads together. Thanks for doing it
