I had always assumed that all the tap water was recycled from sewage, so never had any problems drinking it
all tap water basically is most circumstances in most areas. A good example is that citys on a river are typically pull the drinking water from the river and treating it for us to drink and then treating the toilet water and dumping the treated water back into the same river, and so on and so forth for every city on the river until most of the water was probably in a toilet by the time the river gets to the ocean.
waity wait wait.. i'd done literally exactly that aquarium/wild pond duckweed thing without even realizing it! this actually makes me really wonder if the wild duckweed and its various microbes have been part of the reason behind my aquariums being far more successful recently

The aquarium poop transplant is actually pretty common among hobbyists! Using "dirty" filter media from an established tank to jump start the beneficial bacteria colony is highly recommended. Using plants and small organisms to create a more stable ecosystem is also on the rise!

I am about to go through my first colonoscopy tomorrow. Having learned about poop pills and fecal transplants in college courses, I was surprised that as a new patient at my gastroenterologist showing symptoms of extreme inflammation, my doctors didn't request a stool sample to test my gut flora. They instead asked me about my symptoms, drew blood, did a colon exam, and immediately scheduled me for a $500 colonoscopy to check for Crohn's Disease. I would like to assume as professionals they just know more than I do (I just have a B.S. in general biology), but it really didn't sit right with me that they didn't even consider sampling my gut bacteria before leaping into an expensive procedure.
$500 for colonoscopy? In what kind of 3rd world country do you live?
After hitting head hard against concrete in biking accident I got xray, MRI (Or was it CT scan). I walked out of hospital the next day. I didn't pay a cent.

As an aquarium hobbyist i must say that things you say are very true. When you put water from outside to aquarium you get so much life you sometimes don't even need to feed the fish if aquarium is big enough.

False, myself and nearly everyone in my dorm have been woken up my a horrific smell. See also "smelling salts", bad smells literally made for waking people up. Smells intruding on dreams is also not uncommon.

😫 too many advertisements! One before, two in video ads, and one after...for a 12 min vid. IF this is the new norm, sadly I won’t stick aroun, especially when in video adverts just break in whenever and screw up the flow and digestion of content. I really hate to say I miss the advertisements on cable TV - - at least they had planned commercial breaks which were seamlessly fitted.
I'm sorry but how are cable ads any better? You got more ads then show, in CZcams ads are 1-2 minutes combined in most cases, and if ads on yt bother you so much just use an adblock, tho i might be biased since i personally don't get many ads

I lived in Toowoomba, Australia at the time of the debate for recycled water. That city at the time had three big food processing plants and it was feared that people around the country would not buy their products that might have come into contact with recycled water.
Also, the government screwed up by claiming that recycled water was 100% pure, which is outright wrong (and possibly a lie). They then had backtrack and change the wording to something along the lines of "meets government standards".
