Don't quit out there is a bug that kills your loot chance when you spawn in. Just go to your map and fast travel back to bright hoof. Turn around and go back through the portal and it will spawn you by the boss and they'll be back. No quitting needed

U can always just use the green cryo smg u get @ the begging of the game. It will carry zomboss until lvl 13 or so and then just go get another 1, because the smg is aways available from the chest. This will save lots of money so u can upgrade mag size n backpack space.

Go to the menu and log back in. Otherwise you are at a boss that actually doesnt respawn or you havent't finished the mission

You gotta go turn in the mission if it was your first time fighting the boss. This has been true for all borderlands bosses on first fight.
