So many Torgue weapons on this list! I'm so glad Mr. Torgue High-Five Flexington is the King of Wonderlands. I've always had an affinity for EXPLOSIONS!, and I've always sought out his wares. I even have a monstrous 2'x3' TORGUE flag decal on the tailgate of my big-ass monster truck. When I first started playing Wonderlands, I found a blue x2 Lewdite around level 8 or so, and used it past level 25. I still have it in my bank, and am waiting for the day you can display your loot on the wall like BL3 so it can be put in it's place of honor. I now have maybe 20 Lewdites in my bank, and refuse to let them go. 1x, 2x, 3, elemental and non, white through purp, that gun gets the #1 slot on all my characters. Love TORGUE, love Wonderlands, and love Spartan Gaming Zone! Keep going, SGZ, your content is top-notch, highly anticipated, and always funny and full of info. "...NOTHING IS MORE BADASS THAN TREATING A WOMAN WITH RESPECT!"

Im glad you’re doing all these reviews of purples as well as legendaries. Im finding the legendaries pretty disappointing and have ended up relying on pixies and triple ice spike spells. Lol. Im using the bloodshot pixies instea dof the fearnots. I have one fearnot but its just not as strong.

Problem with a lot of these gun videos, you need a good build for them to be great. That's easier said than done, especially on console with so many variables on so many items.
Actually quite the opposite. You can use green guns armor and shields, no skill points attached. Proper enchantments, and still one shot chaos 35 raid bosses. The scaling is so bad that any gun in the game is viable with proper enchantments.

@@Odyssey636 That statement is so over exaggerated it’s obvious you blindly hate on Wonderlands. Probably due to the bandwagon of hating every game that isn’t BL2, but how about acknowledging the actual problems with the game instead of speaking completely nonsense?
NOBODY is “one hit killing raid bosses with no skill tree but greens and good enchants” without mods or something, that’s clearly ridiculous. But there are scaling/balancing issues. When you see videos of bosses getting killed unreasonably fast it’s because those people either have INSANELY good rolls on their gear, or are abusing a mechanic like pixies. Or in the case of most CZcamsrs, both of those factors are usually optimized to the maximum because their followers send them gear in the mail. That’s the real issue. And if you actually game the game a chance beyond the first story mission you might find that out for yourself because anyone who actually plays this game knows Chaos lv.35 is a very difficult for average players to solo.

I have the gluttony legendary pistol, I forgot where I got it from but I love using it to take out mobs and bosses, throwing dagger tornadoes everywhere, I just hate it when it kills you lol

I just found the Lewdite playing through my Chaos 27 run. I got a 758x3 757 Dmg 18%Chance. Right now the brief amount of time using it the Lightning version thus far is a ward killer.
It would help a great deal if you mention what you are using in conjunction with the weapons. Like what was your build, armor, spells, etc...

I got a encrapsulator with where the crossbolts make the target take extra melee damage. Maybe you should have mentioned that the modifier for the crossbolt damage is an important aspect of these guns. Thank you nontheless!

I feel like Knight Mare was a boss that was supposed to get you ready for Dragon Lord. Like they both have a health bar of every type, Health, Armor and Ward. He also has a lightning horse attack where a line of horses charges at you similar to Dragon Lord's lightning wyverns
On the Vorcanar fight I use the gelatinous cubes to take out the adds.
Pixies can also come on the Whatnot pistol variants.
I have a Chaotic Swordsplosion and it doesn't do shit for damage for me. I've tried double-knot, Cursed Wit, stacking spell damage and it deals the least damage of all my weapons. Or does it just not work for a Spellshot?

I was wondering if this is a glitch but when I feed a bunny crystals I get the melee prompt. I haven't done it bc I dont know what it does when you melee the loot bunny. Do you know what that does?
When you melee the bunny without using 500 crystals pr putting the remainder of your crystals it just spits the loot out

Well, the patch was a game changer. It deletes your storyline progress.

I was one of the lucky ones that it didn't affect but as far as I know, it's only storyline progress. People are able to keep their inventory but start back out at Snoring Valley tutorial level and can't fast travel anywhere.

Ew borderlands 3 over 2? Why when it suffers from the exact problems of wonderlands. 3 and wonderlands are bad bc of poor legendaries, bad scaling. And no difficulty.
is there anything in the game that says what weapons scale with melee damage or spell damage like the pixies? or do we just know from players testing it?
Purely player testing, some things are on the card and obvious like the stuck crossbolt increase X damage for X seconds.
Waaaait live wires boosts melee damage. Ooooo that could be fun with a spellblade and clawbringer hammer
The whatnots pixies can toss 5 out at a time rather then 3, recently switched to running those instead. You can also get more pixies out if u switch weapons and toss more out from that one
They don't scale off of spell damage on the fearnots

Cuz pixies should be pixies....so if pixies do companion and spell damage that should be true for all pixies
@@nathanmccook133 sorry fearnots are the only double dipping pixies for pistols another option is pellet style shotguns, don't try and out logic this lol fearnot is the only pistol you need

What's the best class to use with spellshot?
Is there some trick to using torgue stickies right or some build I need to have? I can never get them to consistently do the damage i see in these videos.
From the shadows helps so they auto crit and landing every single one is important too.

There isn't really a trick. "Stick 'em up" Joltz says, then hit reload. The more the merrier. In BL3, I main Moze, use Torgues almost exclusively, and spec into anything that boost EXPLOSIONS! Most of the insane damage you see SGZ, Moxsy, and Joltz do is because they are godlike and have insane builds that take more brains than would fit in my skull. Buffmeister with Pew, explosion damage, gun damage, area damage, and MAG SIZE.
@@NegativeROG those guys also have all their followers farming gear for them so it's a hell of a lot easier for them to hit insane damage numbers.
You have to show your build and enchantments, these guns do not do this much damage without knowledge of this.
these guns work, in one way or another, on lots of builds. pick the one that fits ur style/build an go for it. i recommend the shotgun. i have no enchantments that work with it an its not elemental an still craps all over everything. makes the game easy mode if you get a decent roll. one of them i got kinda sucks, but the 3x w 10 bullets is brutal. again, very far from an optimal build out too

Lord I really hope that they can somehow turn this game around. Really disheartening that the game has dropped so far already. Has a great foundation but with the first DLC only adding chaos chamber to the game I'm not really hopeful.
Apparently the game has sold tremendously well so it would be silly of them not to support it properly. If they do, they'll have a whole new franchise on their hands.
The problem with games like this is there are things too strong and then there are things too weak. The concept of endgame is irrelevant in these games because players chew through content too fast. So the devs are in a balancing phase trying to rebalance everything before they make big changes to the game.
@@damienhine1861 it sold well for people who were 1.hype for the title, and 2. loyal borderlands fans, but as a guy who bought borderlands 2 6 times (different consoles and handhelds) borderlands 1 and Pre Sequel twice, and 3 once. im dissapointed with how 3 went and i bought super delux pre order when it announced. plus i bought this game super delux version but havent played or installed it because of how BL3 went, and because of the bad things im hearing about it now. but i been playing elden ring so i pretty much ignored every other game thats out atm 😅 might do demons’ souls though now that i like souls games
This game has so much POTENTIAL, so much freaking POTENTIAL, that if they put their entire team on it, I'd be perfectly okay with this REPLACING Borderlands. This is the 1st FPS from GbX that my wife is head-over-heels for, too. The medieval/fantasy theme can go so much further than the post-apocalyptic one, in my mind. I was a huge D&D nerd in the past, and coincidentally, my intro into that game was the expansion "Keep on the Borderlands", which I got for Christmas '79.
@@keithsnaer9286 oh you should totally play it. Base game BL3 vs. base game Wonderlands, Wonderlands wins every time for me. The base game is excellent. Most of the hate is coming because DLC1 *sucked*. If they get going with decent DLCs from now, along with some Takedown style content, then this will reach far greater heights.
The problem is they dropped a terrible DLC and then said *nothing*. No response, no contrition or visible effort towards improvement, nothing, and that's been hard to swallow the past 4 weeks.
On another note, and I don't know how they know this, Take Two announced that 30% of Wonderlands players have not previously played a Borderlands game so it would seem there's something unique enough about it that it's broken quite a bit of new ground - another argument for GBX to invest properly in this title. If they do so, it could lead to a totally new franchise for them in the future.
I dont know if this is a glitch but when i feed a bunny crystals i get the melee prompt, what does meleeing the bunnies do
I'm not entirely sure, but isn't that just when you don't push the "spend crystals" button long enough? If you don't feed it the full 500 crystals, you can activate it with a punch. Otherwise, you can continue to 500 by pressing the button again. Could be wrong, but that was the only time I have seen the melee option.
You have the option to melee the bunny to make it spit loot before filling it with all 500 crystals thats more then likely why it happens. Make sure you dont tho because if you dont fill its all the way the loot luck is much worse

The problem with this game is purple are better than legendarys and that's jus sad. I don't get it gearbox
This is a low skill barrier game, so I try to preserve the little challenge available by abstaining from Feriore chucking (only exception is Dryl's ward regen phase bc i dont main Spellshot so f that noise)
Oh you must be an elite thumb mover because you only use pixies for Dryll ... even on a low skill barrier game!!!
Dry'l must be bugged for me or something because even with Pixies, his ward regen outheals my damage and by the time I take down his tridents, he's already at the back of the map, hurling more at me. Last time I fought that guy, it was well over 30 minutes and still have half his health left, breaking his ward just long enough to chip away a few thousand damage before restoring it again. Ultimately, he managed to down me at a point where there were no adds. I dunno how people are dropping Dry'l in less than 5 seconds without modded gear or something completely broken, especially now after the recent patch.

@@lhfinatl7068 it's a poorly designed dps check. I can do it with a good shock tediore... I like most boss fights in this game bc of the mechanics involved but there's no counterplay with Dryl :(
You forgot to mention the "Soaked" abilities that broke the game along with the Stabomancer's "Out of the Shadows" and of course "Buffmister". Your weapon list only applies to the current meta. No one ever makes say, a Dark Magic weapon list for Graveborn, or a Poison Build for Sporwardens.
I'm running a Dark Magic only Graveborn/Sporewarden build that is gun/ability focused, has no points in Companions, and absolutely slays.

Don't use them. I mained Zane from the beginning, even when he was the worst VH by far. The first DLC brought him in line with the other VHs, the 4th skill tree trivialized the game with erasor and the cannon action skill. So, I didn't get it!

Not a spell it's the stabbomancer class ability, From the Shadows. Makes all of your damage crit damage for a short time.

@@SpartanGameZone my current favorite mobing weapon is the epic rain something SMG but it fails to frost resistant or immune mobs. I'm interested in seeing what else could work that I haven't considered.
all I saw was, get hit, buffmeister and the weapon didnt even matter at this point
None of my weapons have ever been able to melt a boss amd idk why. Even with my builds matching 90%+ of what youtubers builds are, mine just tickles them🤷♂️
4 enchantment slots all working in combination (duplicates don't stack) is a big part of dealing damage.
@@SpartanGameZone same for me, i have gun dmg, dmg dealt, elemental dmg and a specific element dmg as enchantments and i do 10% of the damage that I see streamers put out on videos.. I only starting playing recently so did ALL weapons got nerfed somehow??
Too bad no one really makes anymore videos on this game.. half the time I'm thinking the specific weapon no longer drops from said boss 😥 all videos range from 6 to 10 months ago

All these guns are good on your build because you can auto crit
No these guns are good because they hit hard with very overloaded damage mechanics. They hit hard without the crits. The crits just speeds it up.

Dude... show your build first. idk if you use multiple builds for each weapon but that right there is something you need to make sure to do. Most of these guns are ass without a good build. We need more info. Thank you for the information but it just wasn't enough.

Wow....the balance of this game seems absolutely broken and shitty....empty 1 mag into the Boss, than melee him and He is dead? This should be the case for a trivial trash mob, but not for a Boss Jesus
This game by far is the worst borderlands game and it sucks. So much time put into getting nothing. And the loot luck dice are f'n lame. I'm gonna go play BL2.....ya know the game from 10 years ago that's better than this hot garbage. Super disappointed 😞
Same. The dice isnt my problem. Is 0 difficulty and poor endgame. You can one shot raidbosses with green items and no skills attached on chaos 35. Its shown on youtube. Enchantments are all that matters. Same in borderlands 3. Annoints was all that mattered. So sad. For people who arent casuals and can actually use their brain when making builds. Games like wonderlands and borderlands 3 have 0 purpose bc there is no such thing as builds when you can beat all content with no skills attached on hardest difficulty
Ummm, pretty sure no one cares about this game anymore...... 🤷 All of the other big borderlands franchise CZcamsrs have all gone back to borderlands 3, borderlands 2 and the like.....
Automagic.exe goo brrr! No seriously holy crap if you shoot up in the air after firing a tracker it will crit every shot! Plus it drops from the banshee soo it can be found early on in the story!
