10 Tips for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Chaos Trial Mode (Get to Level 20)

Hey guys, did you know that Less than 10% of players on Playstation have reached Chaos Level 20? Pretty crazy and since I recently marathon'd the chaos levels, I figured I'd make a video giving you guys some Tips for Tiny Tina's Wonderlands Chaos chamber mode. So if you want to get to level 20, this countdown could be a good guide for progressing through the chamber.
In this video, I'll make some gear recommendations, give you some tips on how to setup your builds/skill trees, and also give you guys some tips for taking on the bosses. I've gotta say that Dry'l probably the worst of the bunch!

Note - The mushroom companion is the only companion that will revive you, and only if you have a point in the skill that let's it revive you. The other companions can get kills that will get you out of fight for your life, but they can't revive you outright.
That mushroom is the man. Can't tell you how many times something has killed me after all the mobs are dead and mushroom is right there picking me up.

Chaos level 15. Dragon Lord. The rest of the game with stabbomancer/clawbringer is pretty easy but from level 15 it gets ridiculously hard. I don't even want to know about level 17 or 19. Bet it's either that Y'll or the Banshee or Son of a witch.
For anyone reading 4 months later, the Spore Warden is one of the most underpowered classes. It's not good at damage on its own.
Spellshot is arguably the best primary class in the game.
One major tip I can give is to not ignore purples, so many Feriores, Torgues, and even Blackpowder guns melt bosses and mobs fast. Pixies are my favorite for Feriore even though they miss out on certain bonuses guns with wings and hydras get. Torgue stickies specifically launchers just kill things quick from playing around with them. And multi pellet Blackpowder guns like shotguns just destroy health bars up close. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like compared to the other Borderlands games purples are actually very useful, the amount of purple options is great.
The reason I love your vids so much is they seem like a nice chat between friends insofar as the info isn't rammed down you throat. Keep up the good work...

I hate the Chaos Chamber curses! They are literally renamed BL3 Mayhem Modifiers. And I hated those too! At least this time, you can choose to not have them. But hard curses are pretty much necessary to get the most crystals.
Btw, feels so good to hear your voice again Vinylic! You literally taught me how to play all Borderlands games.
I also got stuck on the banshee boss during the chaos level ups. Got wrecked so hard I was thinking I was going to have to wait til my Borderlands friends got the game and got to this point. Thanks for the tips I’ll definitely be trying again after doing some of these prep suggestions

Tips for myself that I follow when grinding to chaos 20 I have 2 mains a spore warden & brrrzerker at level 40 C20 & working on a Spellshot now…take the easiest paths/portals through the encounters worry bout crystals later. Feriore chucks. Particularly the pixie reloads/dagger storms & hydras. Enchants on gear that consistently add bonus damage pretty much at all times. I never stress bout that perfect enchant. As long as it’s bonus damage that works with my build then I’m good to go.
The liquid cooling Is also top tier

Yeah, it's been awhile.
Just got Buffy from the spell rabbit. She is fantastic. I only have about 5 seconds of downtime if my Spellshot Capstone doesn't proc. I think most people just don't want to grind through to max chaos. Welcome back!
The Body Rune is a really good ward as well. I highly recommend it at all times.

@@VinylicPumaGaming also, the Reign of Arrows legendary shotgun will trivialize bosses, especially ones that stay in one place like Son of a Witch or Dryl.
Glad to see you back. You always make good videos. My biggest issues with chaos trials are son of a Witch and dragon Lord. Since they changed (nerfed) the masterwork pistol what is best for son of a Witch? Liquid cooling doesn't do enough to beat it.

You forgot 2 major things;
1) Don't even bother with Chaos Chamber unless you have gotten all 260 lucky dice and rebuilt every shrine.
2) Absolutely use the buff altars while climbing, just keep in mind that their cost doubles after every use regardless of which one you activate - so if you spend 10 for fund damage and then decide to get handling next, it will cost you 20 so just be smart about which ones you take (I would generally prioritize damage buffs)
I’m literally taking my sweet time getting there. I just end of doing other things and having fun playing the game, then I’ll play other games to avoid burnout

I'd recommend it. It's essentially fantasy Borderlands where you can cast meteor and stuff. Actually pretty cool!

Been enjoying wonderlands so far.
Good tips Puma, but I think u missed a couple.
1. Always choose Buttstallion portal, if available for +1-3 skill bonus. I find I get +3 often and they can help you through the higher chaos. Having 8/5 in certain skills can make your runs much easier.
2. Also, I would focus on completing the run, not farming for crystals (don't elite if not necessary). If you are struggling with the boss or the run itself, it helps to use the crystals for the power-ups. The goal is chaos 20, not necessarily gear. If gear is an issue, lower the chaos and complete normal runs, and/or the weekly challenge.

I like the gelatinous cubes for the boss fights as they bounce around and take out the adds and provide heath drops for you to run over. I can forget about the adds. I also have the Reign of Arrows double barrel shotgun, I use it everywhere, it knocks out mobs instantly but uses six shells per shot. Only thing is it's no good on flying dragons and eyeballs.
I maxxed out the shotgun ammo as it's so useful. It's also good when dozens of mobs zerg you you just go blamm-blamm. Other thing is it's not best when mobs are right at you, so you use your melee weapon. Usually there are some nice procc on melee weapons such as the chance to replenish your ammo or get 80% crit of the mage blade.

I'm having the most trouble with D'ryl. In harder chaos level I can't seem to do enough damage to out damage his shield regen.
I got a frost Buffmeister on my second Chaos trial and it is the “Knuckled” (prefix) varient. I have acquired a couple more since from the barf bunnies, but are slightly “lesser” varients. Still farming for Chaotic & Volatile versions (frost & poisonous, specifically) that have the Knuckled prefix, but its been a while now that I have even seen them. My point is that you CAN get them from Barf Bunnies. (Just keep an eye out for the Knuckled variant!)
I'm stuck on Chaos Level 12, trying to go to Level 13. I think I need stronger gear. I admit I haven't updated my weapons for quite a number of levels so it's probably time to acquire new ones!
I've already beat all four raid bosses on chaos 20 but I still wanted to watch the video anyway. XD

Oddly enough, i find the spectral vengeance curse to be much easier and less punishing then its difficulty implies compared to its functionally similar frost orb cousin on medium that applies the frost status effect, which in turn prevents power sliding. Its mostly an added chance to spawn a fixated enemy that will slowly try to touch you to cause immediate Save Your Soul, but what makes it so easily manageable is that its easy to just shoot down once you get a good line of sight on it, only thing it ever truly punishes is when you score melee kills, likely due to being within smelling distance of that vengeful spirit.
I do recall that i got one of my Buffmeister spells from the bunnies after getting my first from the stockpile of chests that you can access after defeating DL when i was farming him for his rare head cosmetic, to this very day i still presume that the two spells must've been a few gifts of pity because one of his cosmetic that dropped for me which could've been the headpiece fell off the map when i told a friend not to kill him close to the edge during a few co-op farms, due to the risk of having the things that you look for fall into the abyss and become unobtainable. I will sadly never know what it ever truly was since the lost loot machine seem to label cosmetics somewhere in the very low priority tier to save...
I found getting the proper gear to hit chaos 20 extremely easy with graveborn spellshot companion build. The best weapon is a pixie fearnot pistol. When I hit chaos 20 I still have a lv 39 blue rarity one. Other than that you just want companion and spell damage on everything because they scale pixies, and 2 spells that make as many hydras as possible for thrall stacking. No legendaries are necessary
Thank you so much for the video it was extremely helpful. But I do have one question. Can you increase your Chaos level by completing the run as fast as possible or does it go up by an automatic amount such as one or two or so?

If anyone's having trouble you can pare any 'Smart Armor, with the Lasserhands spell for at least 100k damage per cast.

So if I have the spellshot action skill where u have 2 spells instead of 1 action skill, do my spells count as an action skill for those enchantments that give a damage boost “on action skill start”?

and speaking of bosses (all bosses but especially the harder ones) it's sometimes difficult to figure out their attack patterns and/or elements because there is a lot going on. i wish there was videos specifically on this. so vinylic and other youtubers reading this, anything you can do to help would be appreciated by the comunity. thanks!!!

Thanks for the vid. I cruised to Chaos lvl 15 then hit Dragon lord and just cant down him. So I'm stuck. I beat Son of a witch at 14, but 15 Dragon Lord just has too many health resets and immunity periods for me. I have Imp, Liqid cooling, and Buffmeister.
I did this last Sunday on xbox, 3.5% had it done. I did with with the liquid cooling on a sporewarden & berserker build solo
Can confirm got a buffmeister from bunnies. First one tho dropped while getting all the lucky dice.
So I saw a triple ice spike build here on yt. Should I keep it in my right slot and buff meister in left or stick with regular spells? (Deadshot)
It isn't my inability to hit 20, it's my desire to just make a fuck ton of new characters that is holding me back.
I had a much easier time with the parasite than zomboss during my chaos runs, its easier to fight in a more open field where all you need to do is run backwards and shoot it as it chases you. I always get stuck against walls or pinned between a corner and zomboss quite often. It has a small arena where you cant really avoid being out of combat for quick situations.
zomboss has a lot of walls to get behind cover though
@@Hypno_BPM yeah but I get stuck on the walls, and often times it just pulls me into it, and even if im on the opposite side of a wall I'll still get pulled to it and downed.

Here’s a tip use buff meister on any build and cheese everything
If you want a really safe climb to lvl 20, just roll stabbo for your dual spec and abuse the stealth crit buff. If you have the masterwork it's not even fun lol.
I got a fire buffmeister from the chaos bunnies. So it's possible. I've beaten chaos 20, and spent like 20,000 gems in grenades, and only gotten 1 though. So it's rare it seems.
Vinylic I would love you to try streaming I love to be able to interact with you and many other do too. We love to just interact with you with a more personal interaction but if you do not want to I understand but if you did I think a lot of people will enjoy it.
