Im retied frpm oshawa and can tell you there was already 2600 jobs before closure in 2019
I would love to see a video on the truck industry ( market ) and how it’s changed in Canada. I’ve been lucky enough to get into 4 new Chevy trucks since 2011. 11,14,16,19. It’s crazy how much the pricing has changed. Hopefully it gets better soon but I highly doubt it.
I have a 2020 Trail Boss with the 6.2 It has been the most reliable truck I have owned. I have had 5 Dodge 3500's and one Ford F-350 before down sizing to the 1500 Silverado. I would like the new dash and seats, but will keep my truck..
I'd want General Motors to build 1973 Opel Gt and 1995 Monte Carlo Z34 ! It would be one of the best things that ever happened to me!
Cool video. I toured there in 94 and got to start a Silverado at the end of the line. Wish I would of applied for a job when they restarted production in 2021.

One day those robots are going stop building vehicles on there own, and start build their own kind- bigger and better and smarter robots that will take over the world. Yes I've seen too many movies.
All of these trucks are sitting on dealer lots unsold, b/c no one can afford them
No amount of investment or any excuse whatsoever justifies charging 115k or more on a pickup truck! Absolutely ridiculous
Waaaaaaaay too much automation for the prices they are charging for these trucks. It is theft.
