SBMM won’t work in the Oceana region because there is only ever one breakthrough server. What’s gonna happen, always get kicked into an empty server? Might work in Europe and America but just doesn’t make sense here.

Everyone in Call Of Duty for the past year: We despise Skill Based Match Making.
Battlefield Devs: You know what that sounds like a great idea.
I think it's ok, some breakthrough servers are mind crushing when your entire team have a negative KD, It's not enjoyable. As for conquest, even if you lose you can still enjoy the game and find a gunfight here and there without getting killed for rushing.
A better idea would be to just have teams balanced according to player count between rounds, and if new players join the server, they automatically go on the side with fewer people. I think most of us in the community have never wanted SBMM.
Personally it’s annoying if everyone is a god, they should have balanced servers of some good people, some average people, and some terrible people.

With 31 other people on your team, there’s no way you need skill based matchmaking. The wins come from people playing objectives...

Fa Mulan bruh I'll be fighting for just one objective while my entire squad is chilling at the back sniping. I've done that myself before but when the entire teams getting squashed can put in some effort

I don’t think that sbmm will affect bf the same way it affects cod because the game is naturally more tactical and much bigger.
@@xthelegionargamingx6030 But is SBMM even needed? No, it isn't. A better solution is to rebalance teams between rounds based off of team size, not based off of skill. And if new players join a server, they should automatically be sent to the team with less people. This will mean you often join the losing team if you choose to join a server, but you will know that teams will be balanced on both teams at the start of the next round.
I think all games are doing this because of new players which is Fcking annoying tbh because I think you should be plunged in the deep end and learn the hard way and if you put enough time get good at it, every industry is becoming so soft and I’m hating seeing gaming coming to that now too :(
Sbmm in bf can work great if it puts only players(cheaters) with more than 10kdr together.
@@JustinLT212 exactly I got absolutely destroyed when I picked up BFV but I kept grinding and now I'm pretty good at the game. I knew that if I played more I would improve on the game and that was enough motivation to keep on playing

Bf3 and bf4s system was shit. Every game badmins abused choppers to stomp other team and re balance the newcomers into other team in conquest matches,and yes... IGLA's were banned

One of the exhausting things about this game was definitely that you were going to get pummeled for the first 2-3 rounds no matter what. Then you'd be on the dominant team until you left.

More worryingly, they’re probably gonna implement it into the next Battlefield game. If they do, I’m not buying it.
Just finished watching every episode of Across the Battlefield for BF1, BF5 and your BF4 live commentary, quality content 👌 I subbed.
I absolutely hate the new matchmaking after battle system. Countless times has my squad and I gotten moved to a server populated with 15 players. Then we have to leave and wait in a queue just to get into a new game that is actually populated.
Or a surver with just our squad in it! It sucks I played the same map 3 times in a row the other day. Shut that stuff off!
Same experience, it’s moving the team to empty servers, so frustrating. I’m waisting hours in the menus, trying to find full game.
This gonna piss customers big time.
Dice haven’t got a clue what they are doing. Imagine what the next game will be like?
I don´t like the idea of being moved to another server. Usually I play with more then 5 people in two different squads.

Hey DICE, I do NOT want skill-based matchmaking AT ALL in Battlefield games. However, I do want a team balancer that helps make sure the number of people on both teams is close to the same. People should only be able to switch teams if the teams will have a difference of 4 or less people after the switch, and teams are rebalanced in between each round to make sure there are an equal number of players on both teams. Additionally, if you choose to join a round in progress and there is a disparity between team player counts, you should automatically be put on the team with less players. Yes, this will cause people to join the losing team many times. However, they can rest assured that at the start of the new round the two teams will start on equal footing, based on player count and NOT on skill. If you want to make competitive modes that is ok with me, but the base Battlefield experience has never been nor should be one where everyone is a tryhard of the same skill.
I just love when my squad splits up and goes in different directions.

This Video is what makes Jackfrags unique out of all the other youtube content creators.....the majority of fps gamers including my self and youtube content creators have switched from battlefield to COD in recent months and it does hurt as I myself is a battlefield fan since badcompany 2, unforunatly Dice has not been delivering as they used to be in the past... I'm actually okay with skill based matchmaking, nothing too aggressive, just players with the SAME level, not ridiculous gaps in skill. I'd be all for it but also done in a away that still doesn't hurt the solo player like me. Only problem is it's much harder to implement such a thing in a game like Battlefield. It doesn't have small player servers, it will be difficult
Anyone like Outpost? I think its pretty underrated. Its good for getting plenty of XP and assignment completion because a lot of people are trying to build towers and not paying attention to their surroundings.
This just feels like Dice is kicking a dead horse, they should stop experimenting with it after all the drama this game has been through.

The whole idea of the server browser is that you get to choose where you wanna play. Having them doing the matchmaking for us is an unnecessary and stupid idea
I wish they fixed getting company coin because I've done a lot of weekly missions and I never got my company coin after I completed them
Because of the pandemic, the servers are really laggy on the weekends. Probably because the servers are really being taxed right now. I played yesterday and everyone on my squad was experiencing it as well. RE: SBMM, I hate it. COD does it and it's stupid. I remember some time ago hearing someone from Respawn comment that SBMM is the future of gaming. If that is true, I will stop gaming altogether.
Depends on the type of game man. Honestly Warzone would be an absolute bore without SBMM and all the people who complain about it are the exact demographic who would leave after two weeks without it. Battlefield on the other hand is about goofing around and a sandbox experience so its understandable why you wouldn't want it, but its far from the bane of video games.
@@bluey7520 It's not SBMM that makes Warzone better. It's the style of the players on the server. If you ever played COD in the past, you would know that many COD players camp more than in any other gaming community. Have you ever played Battlefield? There are far fewer campers in BF than any COD game. I've played COD since COD3 came out. So, I've seen the difference over many years.

imo the game is overall better than BF1. Every system in this game is better than in BF1. Even though BFV has less content it still hits more than BF1 does.
@@Finnishmanni there’s no way lol, BF1 had some of the best DLC maps, you get a way better atmosphere in BF1, it feels like chaos and there’s actually a war going on, BFV didn’t seem to deliver that chaos to me, imo

I will admit one thing I do like about this game is some of the solider customization for example what you had on in this video. I think it’s cool. I would not mind that in the next battlefield game as long as I fits the current country you’re fighting for.
I have been playing bfv again it’s still just so good full of bugs but still just so beautiful and epic in scale and in gameplay.

@@onejediboi no it was because to show the progression of the war like panzerstorm took places in Belgium which in 1940 invaded during the blitzkrieg (also IRL the brits didn’t fight there so I don’t know why brits are complaining anyway) same thing goes with twisted steel but in 1944-1945 the liberation of Belgium began after the liberation of France so dice wanted show progression of war and balancing the us team so they won’t just have 1 western front map

IMO all they they need to do is make it so that if one team controls all the flags, the losing team gets a spawn of some OP item. Assuming the next game in modern, they can just make it an AC130. Would be tough to balance a mode like rush though, but that's really not such a problem anyway.

BF5 had way better graphics and content than Cold War. Sadly the map design and poor automatic gunplay ruined BF5.

I would love to see some hardcore games on the community servers
You know, they could just allow you to choose whatever team you want to play at the beginning of the match and if one team is not balanced, then have a message pop up every other minute or 2 suggesting that people switch teams otherwise your team will earn less objective points or have tickets bleed faster. The Battlefield formula doesn't lend itself well to forcing things on people but I wouldn't mind your team being at a slight disadvantage for having way more players than the other team.

I loooove when I join a game and my team is losing badly... I stay till lots of people leave, then more people join again and eventually my team works its way up to winning. Feels great.

One of my best Battlefield experiences was helping a younger Kid get through the Game . My squad and two other squads Help this kid win the match So matchmaking really doesn't make sense to me Started at the bottom and work my way up And I feel everyone should too

Ive only played battlefield a couple times and it seems there is such a massive skill gap in each match that i dont want to put in the time to improve so much that I can finally enjoy it. I do wish it were a bit more casual for those of us that dont have tons of time to play
It's not that the skill gap is always massive, you just have to get used to the hectic environment that is 67 vs 67 players in a large scale map.

There should be specific servers for trying hard & for casuals. You shouldn’t need the game to move you, you should already have decided. & a server with everyone trying hard will balance itself.
Agreeable on the nonskill base match making because kinda is better kinda like the recruits, veterans, harden like rock players I'll never die players, never know whatcha going get but it'll be interesting.

Recently "got" BFV (thorough access), most annoying thing is unbalananced teams (# of players). Playing 1 round and next map 1 team have like 5 less players, and it stays like that.

I like dice having control over its potential skill base match making, for future games, over its competitors. Idk if dice has sub sections like COD. But if they get something decent going at the end of BF5 they could easily transition that into their next game. Which everyone agrees, given call of duty success, is their most important. I still think BF5 (i play mostly grand operations because of the variety of gameplay) but I never get that frustrated with it. COD is the competitor and as a long time Battlefield preferred player, it seems battlefield is sooooo much more relaxed. I hadn't played COD since COD 4 MW and didn't realize how horrible the gaming experience was. (Talking shit to people post and pre game. Toxic gameplay. Use of meta weapons.) I just never felt it was about meta in BF. It was about what worked best for you and you could outplay someone with a variety of weapons selections (USAS 12 in older BFs not included)

What happened to the ping buffer! They had it on B.F.1. It kept those lucky enough to have excellent internet from racking up an ungodly amount of kills. Now, in B.F.5 they dont need or even use any skill. Your dead sometimes before you see them on ur screen!
