The Ratchet Rake worked pretty good. I just read your post in Tractorbynet about CZcams channels. Thank you for thinking of me. I really appreciate that! Happy Thanksgiving! See ya!
Hey man! Sweeper did ok, I got a mountain of leaves now behind the duck house where they'll compost. Normally I just mulch them into the lawn with the mower, but the new Bradley decided to crap out on me.
Sorry about your lawn. The “mud hole” is a constant here during the winter. It snows, then it melts within a few days, and then the water freezes nightly so I doesn’t go away very fast, and lot of of our ground it bare, so we get to deal with a lot of mud all winter..
I'll never understand why people still rake and sweep their leaves up. It has been proven over and over that mulching them into the grass fertilizes the soil and thus makes for a better lawn.
Hi Lee, for there I needed the leaves off so I could prep for seed, but overall that year I had to collect them because I was w/o a mower mulching deck.

Dude that lawn sweeper does a pretty good job! Are you gonna compost all that or burn it? What does a Midwesterner do with all their leaves? Haha.

Agreed, although too much will smother the grass.
Today I watched this video. Interesting.. What is the purpose of raking the leaves?
