- Ratchet Rake is an inexpensive tractor implement used to grade uneven areas of land that have an abundance of tree litter, rotten wood, branches, roots, etc.... Does it work! Watch this short video to find out!
I’ve been using one for a couple years on my John Deere 5065e. I use to pull vines growing on my barn and trees away from fence lines. I also use it for grade work to remove rocks and level ground. It’s great for creating a seed bed. I only purchased the essentials when I bought my tractor (loader and bushhog) due to budget. But I now consider this an essential.
Just bought one to put on my Kubota. I can confirm that it makes VERY short work of the invasive Himalayan blackberry that we have here in the PNW. I'm sure impressed with how well this tool works. If you're on the fence about getting one, just do it. You won't be disappointed and it is heavy duty- not cheaply made and going to fall apart after a few uses. For me it was money well spent and highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Bought one also! Completely changed the performance of my little Kubota B2301. Great tool for all kinds of uses!!!
can confirm, works a treat in sandy soil
Good job! I love mine, I used it to clear brush and tear out saplings, leveling, prep for seeding, etc. I call it my poor man's mini-tiller coz it will do that "good enough" if good enough is enough lol.
Thanks for sharing!
I'm easily impressed with this thing. I've seen quite a few videos and it works like a champ for under brush. What do you do with the debris after you pile it up?
Nice! Thanks for sharing. Who makes that carport/canopy behind you?
Great content Jeff.
Thanks a bunch!
Great video. It looks like its as dry there as it is here in Pennsylvania.
Yes it was. sorry for the late response. I missed your comment. Thanks for the interaction! I appreciate it!
Absolutely!@@SevenOaksOutdoors
When back dragging were you keeping downward pressure on the bucket or letting it float?
Exactly what i need,,im going to attempt to make one for my bucket..im using bucket with tooth bar attached now and backdragging but this would be more efficient
Good luck! Its a great tool!
@@SevenOaksOutdoors After checking prices on steel i would need i would only be saving about 150 so im thinkng of buying one of the ratchet rakes,,are they pretty heavy duty,,some of the stuff i have bought online turned out to be thin metal and didnt hold up to hard use,,i have alot of debris and vines that constantly grow back,,the ratchet looks like it would handle the job easily..
@@SevenOaksOutdoors My bucket is 48 inches wide inside measurment,,ratchet rake site shows a 52 inch bar ,,could i still use the 52 inch on my smaller bucket
That’s crazy thanks for showing us
No problem 👍thanks for watching!
