It`s good that Windir's heritage lives on and gets a fresh feel, as lot of Valfar's melodies are taken as base for this album. RIP Terje Bakken.

Im not sure ,10/10 it to much,it is 7/10,why?
Because firts half is like Nirvana and Metalica + black metal
second half is more like Dissection etc
Sólverv is better than Light's Bane...I mean Lifehunger! ;)
Yup. I do hear some Dissection elements on the second half of the album. And it's actually not bad at all, considering that they are not rehashing the riffs of that band.

I LOVE the Windir vibes this album brings! A GREAT way to keep the memories of Valfar Alive!! Music is EPIC AMAZING, and I LOVE Sture's vocals..ABSOLUTELY Perfect!! 💀🖤⛓💀🔥🤘LOVE Vreid so DAMN much! 💀🤘

A collection of some incredibly heavy riffs entangled among intricately woven lead guitars. The goosebumps are back. A very sensible continuation of their previous works.

The Dissection vibe in this is strong
more Windir vibe than Dissection in my opinion

@@jacksonzhangthyMetalhead a bit late to the comment but vried has former members of windir which is why they sound similar, same with other sognametal bands mistur, cor scorpii, and sig ar tyr if memory serves
I have (of course) already purchased this album :-) .. Looking forward to see Vreid live again November 30th, with Enslaved and Gaahls wyrd

Amazing album
Music is music. This is a good output and an enjoyable one. They're not going to release the same album over and over. They have maintained the darkness, the blackness, just mixing it up a bit differently. Hello Darkness is their most ambitious song.

Not sure why they used Addi from Sólstafir as vocalist on track : Hello Darkness. His voice is completely awful. Sture has a much better voice, even on clean vocals. I look forward to hearing this song live without Addi.
