If villian had JJ here that would have honestly been a big brain move bc it would induce this exact type of bluff. Hero thinking villian only had a pair of Js not a full house 😂

This came to my mind the second he showed the J. Also, I am never folding a pair of Js here, because if hero had AA or KK he would be scared of JJ and played differently.

I have a similar story from a recent 2/5 game I played: table was 4 handed at 7 am and we had been playing all night long. Coffee and red bulls to stay awake.
I got AA on the Button (First to act because of UTG mandatory straddle).
I raised 50$ (again, normal raise size because the shortest stack was close to 2k. And we were opening 50).
      SB calls.
Before the flop I showed him A❤ as a fun gesture. Flop was unconnected and good for me. He donks 35$ to me and I raise 100$. He calls. Turn he checks, I bet 120$, he calls.
Now before the river, because our stacks were so large with 5$ towers, i was kinda in a coffee induced high and so thought I’d do something fun by changing my exposed card secretly and so I changed them and now the open card was A♦️. UTG is right of me and he sees me do this and is stonefaced trying to not show any emotion. SB checks, and I bet 275$ and he says “you gatta have ace high.” And tanks for like a minute before making the call.
As soon as SB makes the call, UTG starts laughing- “bro he literally showed both of his cards!!!”

People really need to go listen to this entire call. It's the funniest crush live poker call I've ever heard. There is SO much context missing from this short.

I don't know who is dumber. The Hero for showing the Bluff (I saw this full call, that's what he did, and the Prop player who is a big tipper, Other guy is a Dealer in the game, and gets pissed and says he is never tipping him again) or the Villian for no calling for 250$ more into a 660$ pot?

It’s always strange to expose a card. The balls to go all in knowing he exposed a club. He has to fold if he can’t beat what he’s showing

  • @romansidiropoulos7033

For context , hero is a a 22 year old dealer who gets good tips from our villain here when he is on the job. While villain is a paid prop who plays very tight and is friendly with hero and a good tipper.
He turns the jack over to make sure ppl know he has it, to leave this pot alone . And hero does the unthinkable. He takes full advantage, shoves the river, makes him fold, and instantly shows the bluff !! just to get insta karma and see the dude rage quit out of the room saying "no more tips for you"

If you don't want to play poker, don't sit down at the table. This "act of good faith" crap is nonsense. So I'm not allowed to try and bluff at the poker table? Why even sit down then, jeez.
