Speaking the Truth in Love?

In episode 25 of Car Chats, we address the way that Christians often feel the need to confront LGBTQ people for "living sinful lives" and then justify the harm caused by those conversations by claiming the Bible says we should speak the truth in love. But is that what is happening in those conversations? As gay and bi women who are also Christians, we want to answer that question.

This is late - but wanted to say thank you for talking about this. I am glad someone is pointing out how good intentions rooted centered in what one believes to be a biblical truth can cause a tremendous amount of damage. It's really hard to know the impact our words will have.
