- Welcome to the final video for this build of the space battleship yamato 2202 version.
This is a 110 issue partwork release from hachette japan,measuring 950 mm long with a diecast hull.
Motorised turrets,motorised 3rd bridge access ramp along with other moving functions,sounds and a multitude of lighting effects make this the ultimate model of the space battleship yamato!
The build is now finished and weathered...Enjoy!

That is all sorts of awesome! My one suggestion...spring for a label maker. Those handwritten control notes really just keep the entire thing at a 9 out of 10 when you could make it a perfect 10!
Thanks,yes it was going to just be a temporary label solution but then like most of these things since i completed it the yamato stays nicely out on display and the remote hasn't come back out of the drawer again since i put it away!😆

Can you not have anti collision lights on while all the other lights are on too?
Yes they can be,you can see them on in the still shots at around 3:03 mins into the video.👍

This particular model was only available from hachette japan as a monthly collection which is no longer available however bandai do a range of space battleship yamato model kits in various scales which are available online.
This is a wonderful build! How did you manage to get this in the UK? Would supplier sell to US? Thank you for displaying.
Thankyou very much,I purchased mine through hobbylink japan,they do ship worldwide however I collected mine as they were released in japan but the collection has now completed its run and although hobbylink may still have the majority of issues in stock there will be likely be none of the earlier issues left by now,but maybe still worth a look to see what they have if your interested.

What is the model worth if you buy it not assembled?
Its hard to say because its no longer available from hachette japan you would likely only find the parts from a private seller or ebay and the price could be much higher than the original retail. value.

Unfortunately the model is no longer available as it was a weekly collection model from hachette japan which has now finished its run.
Just curious, When is the next part of the DeAgostini Japan Tracy Island going to be here?
Unfortunately there won't be anymore tracy island videos as I had to make the decision to stop the build,luckily all the main hangers were complete enough to be able to display them (with working lights aswell) and they now sit as a backdrop with the rest of my thunderbirds collection.
is there a way to extract and upload the sound effects?
Unfortunately no as they are encoded within the presealed electronics of the kit.
Maybe try a search online for some yamato soundfiles?

It was only available in japan as a weekly collection which i purchased from a company called hobbylink japan.
Sadly the collection has now finished its run but hobbylink may still have a number of issues available,other than that ebay will be the only place to find a complete collection but it would be expensive.
