- The full Bach Cello Suite No. 1 in G major, BWV 1007 performed by cellist Ailbhe McDonagh. Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach in the early 18th century sometime during the period 1717 to 1723, the music starts with a prelude. After that, every movement in the Suite is inspired by different types of Baroque dances.
Ailbhe recorded all six Cello Suites for video to accompany her album release "Bach: Complete Solo Cello Suites" which was released on the Steinway & Sons label in 2024.

Ufff finally. This is how I want it to be interpreted, and nobody (not even the great names of Cello and the festival winners) does it. They make it sound like a romantic piece or something... This now is natural as I want to hear Bach's music. And it still is very emotional and uniquely interpreted. Thank you for playing like this!
I love her pacing! She really is enjoying it as she’s playing, not trying to show off her speed or her technical prowess- just the tintinabular lugubriousness of her instrument serving the sovereign grandeur of our Great God who gave us Bach. Listening to this is my way of continuing the birthday celebration of JSB, which started yesterday!

yo tengo mi propia música como chelista..créeme no miento..hubieron personas de ursurpar algunas partituras...pero ésto es a si...y por ahí está hecha una canción en Hebreo no tengo idea que diga la canción pero la melodía es ..lo que yo hice ...y que estás personas hicieron una canción...la melodía tiene por nombre DUBAI.. sí soy la compositora...de esa melodía para ese instrumento que sé interpretar desde que tenía diez años..
