When doing either dolphin flips the side ways flips are only rotated half way. Imagine just flipping your board over to the bottom side when doing a kickflip. It's the same thing but the board flips 180 degrees forward aswell so that causes the top of the board to come back early. So you only need to technically FLIP the board halfway.
The Dolphin Heel looks crazy. It doesn't even look like it's doing a Heelflip. In the Dolphin Flip, you can definitely see the Kickflip, but you can really see the Heelflip in the Dolphin Heel. That's crazy but sick.

Jyrki Passion Yeah Half flip. Otherwise it would land with the trucks up in the air as the board's tail "becomes" the front of the board in the air. Although it's kind of an illusion here with that knuckle ball look with the grip tape side always facing the camera because it's turned sideways in the air.
If u watch Versace plug do it nollie for the dolphin heel he spins it the other way. Your supposed to do it the varial heel way that way you get a horizontal flip like the dolphin flip. It’s hard to do but possible since Versace did it. What u did is basically a late shuv

If you want to continue using your original lenses on the a7s look into getting a converter. Saves alot, and with no compromise in quality, atleast to what ive noticed with mine.
It's already been mentioned, but it didn't look like the dolphin heel even flips. It was already explained that that is normal, though. I have no idea. Either way, I think the regular dolphin flip looks a bit better, but they are both very cool.

The dolphin heel flip looks like an off axis backside late shuv. I see nothing but grip tape the whole time it's supposed to be dolphin Heel flipping.Isn't a dolphin heel flip an inverted variable heel? Or over flipped varial heel. Either way it looks cool. Great job.

The lighting is super weird? Like lower the light levels a fuck ton, looks like the sun is in each light bulb when it's on your face or when there are many lights in close proximity in the shot. Idk maybe it's my monitor or something but it looks insanely bright, the low light is sick but idk if it has to be that strong.

I kinda understand...I guess...,but I skated 17 years before my community got a park,(I skated whatever curbs, stairs, ledges, rails, that were within traveling distance, as well as lots and lots of flat-ground) As soon as we got a park in the nearby city Me and most other skaters would session it everyday for years and years, while some skaters stayed with trying to learn how to flip their board every which way possible.I thought that since your a flat-ground god you'd be able to give me some insight into the mind of a flat-grounder but I guess you can only speak for your self. I'll never understand the mind of a flat-grounder/freestyler I guess...Unless you wanna give another try at explaining why anyone would choose board flipping over the amazing feeling of skating whatever is in front of you.
The answer might be a simple one: People mostly do what they like. If you for whatever reason don't like skating vert, you probably won't do that anytime soon. I am pretty sure you don't have to (or even will) understand why people like or dislike things. That is how it goes. Perhaps not the most satisfying answer, sorry.

Dolphin flips don't do a full flip in general. They are pretty similar to a vertical shove
If it would do a full heelflip and also go 180 degrees vertical, then the board would end up landing upside down.

Cool trick. On your misses it always looked it was getting ahead of you. Maybe shifting your body weight forward a bit might help.
