- I visited Turkish Airlines Crew Training Center to see how the Turkish Airlines cabin crew get trained on aviation safety and emergency procedures (SEP).
During my visit, the following training was showed:
Restrain Unruly Passenger
CPR (Heart Attack) Rescue
Cabin Decompression
Cabin Fire (Smoke)
Hard Landing Evacuation
Cabin Fire Fighter Training
I hope these behind the scenes cabin crew routine trainings can provide valuable insight to the general public and aspiring aviators/crew. Thanks to Turkish Airlines providing access for content filming.
That was the most polite unruly passenger that I've ever seen.
TURKISH AIRLINES are by far the best airline I have ever travelled with, the food and hospitality in particular are amazing
Really
Everybody: **panic**
Sam: **smiles**
😂😂👍
Lol
Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂
It’s just training JEEZ
untizeiria mijjkjjmajsjej
Do not forget that flight attendants first job is SAFETY
😊yup
Thank you. Im a flight attendant and most of the time people forget we are actually here for your safety 😂
@@miesjo Most of the time it's silent running, however when there's an adverse situation, you guys are life savers. Many of the flying public realise this, and appreciate you all greatly.
JR R I know
Yes
A lot of people assume crew are there for tea and coffee, but once captain says "brace, brave" for example passengers go crew will help us and go to ask them but their training has already kicked in,
They learn how to deliver a baby
Cabin attendants are amazing people that know a lot I respect them I also wanna be cabin crew TUI
As a Turkish airlines cabin crew I really found it emotional to see this amazing video , it reminded my training days , I passed through all those steps with the same instructors who are shown in the video .
Turkish airlines is really one of the best companies in the world , it appropriates all its passengers and takes a good care of its employees and so as a good example now and as all the other airlines our airline is passing one of the hardest moments ever because of Corona virus issue and even though our fleet is grounded but the company didn't fired any employee , because it believe that soon it will need us to run from a success to an other success so we are staying home with and receiving our salaries .
Big thank you Turkish airlines , ready to do my best for you .
Sorry, can you please tell me any requirements to become a cabin crew in Turkish Airlines. 🙏🏼 Do I need to speak Turkish?
Great video; being a retired flight attendant who has been through many years or recurrent training in cabin trainers; this shows everyone how much more the flight attendants do than just serving meals. Thanks for sharing this video
That's true
I dont mean to be rude or something but does Stewardess make good money? I know I call it Stewardess because where I live the word "Stewardess" are common
@@GiaBao06 they do not make good money for the first five years. After that the money is good
Shushh
@@GiaBao06 it's depend on the company ...
8:44 Remember to put your own mask on first to ensure adequate oxygen supply before helping accompanying small children and Sam.
LOL
Haha lol. 😆
😂😂😂
XD
Awesome
Thank you for showing this. Remember, cabin crew is not delighted to bother you with seat belts, seat positions, bag positions etc. Every rule has a big reason. Remember the saying "rules in aviation written in blood". Do what cabin crew says!
Although the brace position is not really proven that useful. Some even say the brace position is there to break your neck and kill you faster.
@@msi4887 on catastrophic events where seat support broken and pushed to you. Otherwise, brace position is the way to prevent neck and spine injuries in case of sudden stop. Saying that is like saying airbags are not good because they can sometimes hurt you.
Not just ‘rules’..FEDERAL regulations (federal laws)
@@OSUfan757 actually it's also in ICAO rules.... FAA rules are just more stringent then the ones in ICAO, otherwise it's almost the same
@@msi4887 Old myth as they tested it by crash landing a real plane recently and it turned out brace position is indeed helping as it prevents you from bracing all the force in your legs and breaking them, you might feel like protecting your head is more important but good luck trying to leave a burning plane with broken legs!! But in a crash rather than crash landing it doesn't matter what ever you do due g force is so high there is almost no possiblity of surviving..
I love Turkish Airlines Crew, beautiful and absolute Perfection
Thank you for restraining Sam! He is always unruly in his videos. 😉 Its awesome to see that the flight crew are fully trained in any type of emergency. Thank you for showing us this video!
Before I knew it, I was handcuffed!
Sam Chui NEVER....EVER......DRINK TOO MUCH 😂
This is educative, Turkish Airlines is really open to the public............. cool
I am also blown away how professional the training and an airline open to show everything!
@@SamChui it's not easy to get the opportunity, you're the best reviewer. sam I did not see your video with capt vincent

I love Turkish airlines I was in Turkey 5 days ago
I can tell Sam Chui was actually enjoyed being enforced by those flight attendants.
YOU ARE RIGHT!
He found his new fetish at that moment
LOL

Lol🤣🤣🤣
This video extremely educational and it actually makes me feel safer. It’s like a private class on everything they tell you before takeoff. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾 kudos to the well trained FAs!
YES 😭
This is an eye-opener. I think everyone won't know the practical aspects unless the unexpected happens while on a flight. Thanks Turkish airline, I'll be flying with you to Istanbul next year
I love how at 6:27 everyone’s panicked but Sam’s just like
ayyyyyyy😏😏😏
The quality of these videos just gets better and better, thanks Sam and Turkish Airlines!
Unruly passenger: I want alcohol
Sam: *i WaNt To gO tO tHe CoCkpIT*

Well, on his regular trip report flights, he always gets invited to the cockpit anyway.
I think Sam will say this on every flight

FCKING LOL
1:53 first time watching Sam in an antagonist role 😂😂😂
Thank You Turkish Airline for your free video about safety in Airplane
Giving all my respect for all the flight attendants across the world🥰🙏🏻✨
6:48 Sam is there like ‘this is fine’
:D
Wf hmmmmmmm
Really
Sam, this is a great video. I'm teaching an English for cabin crew/airline English class and this video fits perfectly into our unit about emergency procedures. The video is so well organized with great titles, explanations, and recaps after every situation (the subtitles are wonderful to have as well!)--makes this a good visual aid with educational value. Thanks for such a great vid!
They were VERY EAGER to restrain Sam. He'd only just walked in the door. 😂😂😂
JSAHY

Every passenger should do a training like this. To have a better understanding how to behave in an emergency.
Thanks Sam seeing how well Turkish airlines train their cabin crew would make me consider them an airline I would like to fly
Sami you lucky guy surrounded by beautiful TK cabin crew...you even got involved in foreplay with the ladies...

Literally no one:
Michael: *leaving the chat*
Girl: MICHAEL!
Ohmygosh! This is amazing. Thank you for giving us a glimpse on how a cabin crew trains. This is a big help for cabin crew aspirants 💕 More power!
Wow, thanks Sam. It really is nice to know the airline crew knows what to do in most every situation that could arise while in flight. I feel more comfortable flying knowing this. This vlog is amazing, you are showing us more and more of the complete package. Way to go .
Great Video Sam! I don't think you were expecting such a quick reaction when they restrain you... they got you real quick my man... I love the videos Sam, Greetings from Nicaragua
I love the fact they share this to you and your fan base. Good information provided.
Still undergoing my cabin crew training, but let me tell you, it's super rough, but cool...so many things you didn't know cabin crew need to know
You're so right ...it's not that friendly ..I used to get so stressed during my training ...and shouted the commands incorrect
Sam
Thank you for a very educational and helpful video. The life like scenarios are extremely intense and useful.
My children and I fly very often and I am watching this video with my daughter and grandson. It's a real eye opener to see how dedicated the entire flight crew are and how passenger and crew safety is of a paramount importance to the aviation industry.
Unfortunately for me, I have but only two THUMBS which really at this time depresses me.
Because you deserve A GAZILLION THUMBS UP ALL AROUND!!!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The FIVE STARS ARE FOR THE INTENSITY OF YOUR VIDEO.
So far I've seen I'll say Turkish airlines has a good foundation of training which enforce great stable safety😁💙
Sam, This is an excellent video! Very educational and needed for those not only who fly, but, for those who aspire to become a flight crew member. Like you said, it's not just handing out drinks and meals. There is so much more that they are trained to do should those situations happen. My hat's off to Turkish Airlines for sharing their training and allowing Sam to learn what the Flight Cabin Crew is trained to do in so many situations. Thank You Sam Chui and Turkish Airlines!!!!!
Sam. As passenger you are truly good. Safety and training video is best. Now days passengers don't notice cabin crew instructions before flight in air. It was amazing to see those truly deciated crew who guards as angels in air.
Great video Sam and a real insight into why the cabin crew are REALLY there !! Well done as always mate !!
I'm no doctor, but it seems to me that one of Micheal's problems @3:45 was due to the detachment of left arm from body. This could lead to dizziness to due loss of blood, difficulty breathing, possible hysteria, unconsciousness, and quite possible death.....All kidding aside, this was a great and informative video Sam, as is with all your videos.......
This is Sam's BEST VIDEO EVER!
Very reassuring to know how well the cabin staff is trained to handle most any unfortunate event that could occur.
I can fly with more confidence than before knowing that safety is indeed first!! ♡♡♡
Sam, your videos are awesome! Thank you for showing how flight attendants are primarily on the plane for passenger safety! Service is secondary!
Your content on this channel is very informative. Also not everyone is blessed to be flying, but are able to experience the aviation industry through your eye's. Thank you.
It’s an informative treat to get a glimpse of emergency skills flight crews acquire. Very appreciative of everyone - especially the wonderful Turkish Airline crew in being prepared. Preparation is a highly valued by all who care about safety in general. 🌻 There is a phenomenal law in which emergencies are induced in conditions when active attention to safety becomes complacent and, much worse, neglected. #ThankYouSam
Sam: Fantastic video -- Once again, unique of all aviation videos in CZcams.
In fact, this is a MUST SEE video, for all Airplane Travelers.. What we take it for granted in an airplane, even for a seasoned traveler, this video is eye opening.
Great video, Sam! Love your channel.
I am currently going through training for a Canadian airline.
This is an excellent video. 👌
You're a good sport, Sam 👏👏👏.
Great video Sam, it's a great insight into how well the flight crews are trained
Awesome Sam, thanks for the experience. Really impressed with the team work. Reminded me of the depiction of the stewardesses in the movie Sully.
Great video. Thanks for Turkish Airlines.

Im really loving this type of content Sam 👏🏼✌🏼 Its so refreshing to watch.
Really amazing video Mr. Sam. I clapped my hands for those cabin crews and for Sam also while watching this video.
❤ for Sam, ❤ for cabin crews from Bangladesh.
*You did a great job Turkish Airlines* ✈️✈️✈️💕
Love from Denmark and Turkey. Love your videos
This training sessions are very stronge. Cabin crew members have the most importante job, passenger safety. The cockpit members have the training for maintain aircraft on air, safety way. WOW. En verdad me impresiona y admiro todo lo que hay detrás de un vuelo.
As always, Sam never disappoints.👍❤
Love all the information you shared. Nice video presentation, editing and transition. Love the palm transition.
Sam, this Video is great. To show how good the flight attendants are and what they are able to do....save lifes. Thabk you Sam

Thanks Sam, watching all your video during the lockdown in my country, this is very helpful information for traveller in case of flight emergency. Enjoyed all your flight
Thanks for sharing this Sam, a lot of passengers forget that we are there for their safety, not just to serve them drinks.
Helal olsun size kizlar. Turkiye'nin gururu THY.
Yurtdışındaki seviyeyi asla ulaşamayacaklar bu kesin. Hatalar mevcut!
One of the best vlogger atm! Love the videos! Keep doing what you do!

This is one of your most important videos Sam. Everyone should watch this. Flight Attendants are highly trained safety professionals!

It's a very important training video for us....
Yes, it is their job to serve you, but next time you’re on a flight, it might be a good idea to treat flight crew with the upmost respect, because if there is a life treating situation, it is also these people will Save Your Life!!
Hey Sam chui! Your videos are really educational! I love it
Great video. Very instructive. Thank you for providing such good content!
Love your videos Sam keep going 💪💪
Great video Sam! would love to see other airline's take on their cabin crew training of safety and emergency procedures
That's what we here for.. Safety first and foremost ✈️ nice to see another airline procedures

Thank you Sam for this educational videos
specially for those who wants to be a cabin crew in future. 🛫💺🛬
Sam you are my inspiration for get rid of flight fears... Because for you flying in flight is like sitting eating and sleeping in your room ✈️🤣🤣🤣 i have been travelling arround 40 times but still travelling was like a nightmare for me. But after watching videos on your channel i am waiting for new trip without fear and full of excitement. 😊regards from #Venice
8:43 How Sam did when oxygen mask is needed, although he seems to watch safety video hundreds and thousands times...
Great, thank you for sharing this with us Sam !!
Thanks Sam for this video, i learn to much about CPR, the real emergency. Hi from my country Puerto Rico.🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷
Cabin crew save lives ❤ hatts off
They are the best actors too😁
Saaammmmm, so nice to see you on this experience of our job in a training day :-)))) you`re a new cabin crew member!!! :-)))))
Wonderful behind the scene info. You are No. 1 Sam!
It reminds me of an Air China flight from Beijing to Changchun. When taxiing on Beijing, there was an old gentleman having a heart attack. The cabin crew knew NOTHING about how to rescue his, neither did the Beijing Capital Airport (PEK) ground staff who spent nearly 1 hour to transport him off the airplane.
Heart attack rescue training is vital!
Two Thumbs for All Crew Turkish Airline.
What a great and interesting video to see. Thanks Sam for posting it!
Ahhh i wouldn't want to get tied up like that, anyway this is a very good video on educating us the importance of the safety training for cabin crew. Experienced cabin crew can make the entire journey more safely and pleasant. Thank you Sam for sharing your experiences.
6:22 *Did someones Note 7 catch fire?*
I have been waiting for this video nice videos sam
Hope you like it!
Thank you for the video, when we tell you to watch and follow instructions, the safety demonstrations before departure...it is not for nothing, even if you are used to flying: one day is not the same as another day before ...
...GREAT JOB Sam..GOOD TRAINING..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow Sam this was amazing and so real:))) what an experience . Great crew thumbs up for Turkish Airline ...
When a regular plane loses electricity and has a fire, there would be chaos, unlike the simulations
if they use Casualties Union personal it can really help a lot. they will bring in the chaos to a very realistic point.
man Im turkish and we dont need any hostess then our people really crayz.
they can put out the fire in seconds with anything :D our rage is crayz. They dont scread anythings. I'm also confused :P
simulations will drastically increase the effectiveness of the crew when shtf. In an emergency they won't behave perfectly like they do in the video but they will do their jobs 1000x better thanks to these simulations. Without this training, they will be completely useless.
Airline staff still must keep calm in difficult situations. Can you imagine flight attendants running around in panic and captain yeloling "we're all gonna die!!" in intercom? no, because it doesn't happen.
Sam, you are the best of the best.
Thank you Sam for all those lovely videos!!! Fantastic!! Hope seeing you one day at an airport or onboard =)
