Total Weightless! What Happened on my Zero Gravity Flight?

- I went onboard the Zero-G Boeing 727 flight to experience Zero Gravity.
The Zero-G specially modified B727 has a large open space in the forward fuselage. We took off from Las Vegas, and within 15 minutes we reached our designated airspace. The plane flies in a series of parabolic arcs so everything inside can be in freefall. I followed the instructor’s advice to lie on the floor while the Boeing 727 entered the parabola, you can feel about 1.8G while the plane is on a sharp climb.
When the Zero gravity moment happened, you can feel it in your body that you became weightless and began to float and flip. We have fun catching water droplets and catching candy floating around. Each parabola lasted about 30 seconds. We did a total of 12 parabolas on our flight before we returned to land. This is the experience to feel like an astronaut and truly one of a kind experience!

I think what would also be cool is if they had a camera plane flying next to them so you could see the angle of the jet when you go weightless.

I love this. This is expensive but not nearly as expensive as I thought it might be. The only other way to experience this is to be launched into space. Sometimes you just have to love Vegas for always taking it to the next level.

If anyone is wondering what 0 G feels like, if you have ever been on a roller coaster and it drops, that’s exactly what’s it feels like and on a roller coaster your weightless basically it’s this stomach drop floating feeling and vice versa for G force.

I didn't know about this kind of flight before watching this video except NASA and other space operations which only astronauts can do. Well I will think about this but I am over 50 now and not sure yet if I want to do and should do it. Thanks for sharing awesome experience!
