  • Understanding Autistic Differences: : How Autistic Kids' Brains Are Uniquely Wired
    🌟 Unique Neural Pathways: Autistic children have distinctive neural pathways, fostering creativity and alternative problem-solving approaches.
    🌟 Intense Focus and Passion: Their brains often exhibit intense focus and passion for specific interests, paving the way for remarkable expertise in niche areas.
    🌟 Enhanced Perceptual Abilities: Heightened perceptual abilities may lead to keen observation skills and a profound appreciation for detail.
    🌟 Innovative Thinking: Autistic brains promote innovative thinking, offering fresh perspectives and imaginative solutions to challenges.
    🌟 Exceptional Memory: Many autistic children possess exceptional memory capabilities, facilitating profound recall and learning retention.
    Parents learn to adopt a mindset of seeing ur child from a 'unique' lens than a 'he's not like other kids' lens. Celebrating these unique attributes to nurture your child's distinctive strengths and cultivate a supportive environment where every aspect of their neurodiversity is embraced and celebrated.
    By doing this, we can unlock the extraordinary potential within each autistic child's beautifully unique mind. 💫

    Hello mam,
    My son is five year old...i made a blunder....i give him a phone when he was in 6 month... with in one or two months start to say the rhymes, phonics identify the colour....so I thought he is learning by himself.... screen time become more than six hours every day...but he can't able to tell natural calls...at the age of 3...I want to put him i school but I can't because he is zero in communication...i convinced my family and send him to the therapy at the age of 4...now he is asking his needs... answering some questions to me....he is not questioning...he is not talking to other people.... Now i what to do mam...do he has really autism?

      Hi shiffnas, unfortunately I can't diagnose autism in the comments. U can ask for a diagnosis from a clinical or psychologist using the test ISAA.
      Yes screentime at the early age does cause delay ( instagram.com/reel/C3enQa3PtC_/?igsh=bmZpcm4xcG9zcm90)
      But it's really good that he learned words on his own, he has progressed to asking for his needs, answering some questions. This is good progress!
      Help him development the next set of skills. U and him can do it!

    How or when can I tell my 10 year old daughter her younger sister is autistic. She is a very sensitive person. Even she doesn't know what autism is

    • @PriankaEvangelineSLP
      @PriankaEvangelineSLP  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Really depends on the maturity of the older child in understanding. Id suggest u first start sensitising her (older girl) in helping her younger sister, in making her understand that her little sister has some needs (she loves to move more, she loves that rhyme that's why she's signing it often, she feels emotions too deeply than u and me that's why this problem is making her cry /laugh so much etc) and then when u think she is making accomodations for her little sister then u can get a story book on autism and read with her.
