And that'll be 12.49 a pack lol. Some are moderately affordable. I just get the sunny eggs or whatever they're called. They have the orange yolks and I'm pretty sure the chickens roam free and eat off the land.

Problem is, Saladino only looks at his side of the argument. He doesnt mention eggs are a source of saturated fat, which most Americans overconsume and the biggest source of cholesterol in the diet, which even tho dietary cholesterol doesn't really impact fasting blood levels of cholesterol a lot, there are other problems associated with it. He also doesn't mention the large amounts of choline in eggs can be harmful as this converts to TMAO in the body, and that choline only improves mental function if you have a deficiency. Yes vitamins are important but we can get them from various sources and eggs aren't necessary at all.

@@mikeanthony2779 I mean people in the government mostly brown-nose rich people. Most of their work is to help people who have the most money make more money...right now I heard on the radio that your US president is in India trying to make some deals, so that you can potentially source some microchips from there, instead of making them in the US by the American people. Only rich ultimately benefit from cutting on labor costs by using foreigners with less rights and worse working conditions.
Obviously there are other factors, but overall inequality and destroying of democracy is going to be the main driver. If there is large inequality then your vote has no power, your vote is mostly manipulated by the money of the rich...unless you are the rich person.

I know the taste is generally better. The yolks are a deep orange or sometimes reddish color. Gives it more rich and savory taste. Typically the chickens are going for a more protein heavy diet. Bugs, field mice, etc.

Honestly, I'm not even sure. I used to eat the store brand cheaper eggs. Then I started trading fish that I caught for pasture raised eggs from a local who has their own chickens. I've also bought a few dozens of those expensive Vital Farms pasture raised from the store too. I really can't tell a difference. If you can afford it, you can try to compare the two, but I never noticed a difference. The nutrients are probably where the difference is.
