"This is my son Bart - he owns a factory down-town" I feel like the entire Bart factory subplot was written solely so they could deliver this line and it's perfect.
"Let me introduce you to my family. My PERFECT family" Homer was using that emphasis to try and impress Frank, yet Frank took it as Homer being condescending to him.

@@taurtue I am huge fan of the facial art styles used on Frank Grimes, Dolph and various teenage guest characters on "The Simpsons". They are one of the most beautiful looking art styles EVER next to the facial art styles that "American Dad", "Future Rama", "Young Justice", "Code Lyoko", "Voltron", "Danny Phantom", "Disney's Treasure Planet" & "Japanimation" all use on their young characters. They are a huge part of my life. I am just not a die-hard Simpsons fan and not into 'Simpsons' as a whole. Alot of episodes offended me and even outright infuriated me (e.g. any moment involving either Adult Audience Laughter, Audience Cheering, Rare Canned Laughter, Jokes mocking the essential Christian doctrines or all 4 of them at once). I only watch Simpsons anytime Dolph or a young teenage character (except Jimbo and Kearney) is on screen and also for the jokes that DO make me laugh (e.g. Homer shouting "DAMN!" in church service after realizing he put in $20 in the offering, Steamed Hams Memes).
The saddest part here is no individual is really at fault here. Homer wasn't a leech, he was just a friendly guy. And Frank venting on him is perfectly reasonable too since Frank worked way harder than Homer did.
If grimes or grimy as I like to call him wasn't so stuck in his mindset of working hard to achieve people would help him out more. Can't succeed and you can't be happy without friends. Homer tried so hard to be his friend. It's sad to see when a person turns bitter. Even though I understand him it could only get better if he opened his heart for the world.
People are like Frank Grimes who is a narcissist and are jealous of people who are doing well in life. Because they are bullshit because they didn't understand that life is not fair and bitter of other people doing good in life but wouldn't be jealous of other people doing well in life People are like Frank Grimes who think they people shouldn't better than him or her in life but he should do better than that person in life but don't understand that that person also works hard than him too but he doesn't see it. Homer had nothing in the beginning but work hard to get it

Homer was trying to make a attempt to show Frank Grimes that he is not really a bad person at all such as trying to get back on friendly terms with Frank but unfortunately it backfired horribly due to his jealousy and resentment. In Homer's defense the reason he has a happy and bright life due to his personality. Despite his dim-witted, incompetence, and laziness he can be a kind and sweet person with a big heart. Frank Grimes had a grumpy, snappy, and grouchy personality. For example- Homer, Lenny, and Carl we're being friendly such as introducing themselves towards him on his first day at the Chemical Plant but Grimes was very dismissive. The point I'm making is that you have a good or bad life based on your personality.

Despite Frank's hatred for Homer, he doesn't know the sacrifices he made for Marge and his kids. Before Bart was born, he had to leave Marge because her sisters hated him. He took a crappy fast food restaurant and gave her every dollar. And when Lisa was a kid, Homer sacrifice his money to buy her a saxophone so she will grow up smart. And before Maggie was born, he had a dream job working at a bowling alley but had to quit and return to the power plant so he can support her.
@@mmtot I mean, Homer does create a lot of the trouble he encounters in his life, but he's generally a nice person who tries to do right by his family. It's also not entirely his fault that the writers for the show continued to make him even worse and more irresponsible as seasons went on. He's stupid and impulsive, not cruel or inherently selfish. For all his faults, he is the singular breadwinner of his family that does involve himself with his children and spends a lot of time with his wife.
@@Can_O_Crayola He was cruel. Towards Flanders. What people don't remember was that how Frank Grimes acted towards Homer, that's pretty much how he acted towards Flanders. But he gave that up when he saw Flanders reach his rock bottom - it gave Homer no pleasure to see that, even though he thought it would. He's still at odds with Flanders but not as much as he used to. Homer got over it. Frankie here... couldn't get over it. He represents the worst of what Homer used to be. Now Homer just loves life, while Frank resented every second of his remaining time on Earth.
1:01 Dans sweetness and genuine attempt at small talk on the line "You've Never Been?" Makes me laugh so hard, while making Homer so likeable in this scene cuz he's really trying to be a good host
When Frank just stops and takes a look around their house before saying, "Good heavens, this is a palace!" It's some of the most genuine emotion I've ever heard in voice acting.
People seem to forget that at one point Homer was in Grime’s shoes. Flanders was originally Homer’s enemy as he had a nice family and lived in luxury while Homer had the complete opposite. Inevitably Homer comes to realize that even when he triumphs over Flanders it doesn’t make him feel better about himself, I feel like the same could’ve happened with Grimes had he lived. But other than that, Frank Grimes is basically someone from our world being put in the environment that is Springfield. While some would like to be friends with Homer it’s possible that most others would grow to resent him. While Grime’s anger is albeit limited to Homer’s material wealth, it’s still very understandable as most people would expect their hard work to be rewarded instead of having someone be rewarded for practically doing nothing at all.
This is missing the point. For one, Flanders, as far as I know, did earn his material wealth. But, furthermore, Grimes's gripe here isn't purely materialistic, unless you count a "perfect family" as materialistic. He doesn't resent that he had to work hard his whole life. He states outright what his problem is: Homer is a fraud. Society has showered him rewards for nothing while ppl like Grimes barely eek out an existence keeping the country running. If this country actually had proper values and had it's priorities in order, Homer would have starved to death long ago. Does that mean Homer hasn't worked hard? Of course not. But he has objectively coasted thru much of his life as well and in return, he has been granted outrageously disproportionate reward, whereas Grimes has been living the life of basically a slave with no future prospects of it ever easing up. Not wanting to work till you're dead is far from "materialistic" and when you add on the sight of Homer Simpson, after a lifetime of unparalleled hardship and adversity: any reasonable would snap.
I love how Frank Grimes complains about living in an apartment between two bowling alleys while Homer, who loves bowling would love to have a place like that.
I love Homer’s: “wooow” It really shows that he sees the best of every situation. He’d be happy to live near a bowling alley, despite it being a small apartment.
No need to defend anybody. Grimes is a spiteful and envious character and no matter how much u may feel sorry for him, the fact remains that Frank's jealousy is what caused his life to end
There is also nothing to defend because it’s true Homer has all those things happen to him because he got lucky He earned none of it It’s like if you won an art trophy even though you didn’t even apply for the competition If that happened to someone I knew, I wouldn’t defend or laud them either
I think Grimes is wrong about something though Homer isn’t able to live his lifestyle because he’s American. He’s able to live this lifestyle because he got lucky Anyone trying to live like Homer would die in America too unless they got lucky Also, it depends on what episode you’re watching, the episodes where Grimes isn’t in do have Homer face the consequences and do have him get called out on his stupidity and do have him be down on his luck Hell, Burns usually plays the role Grimes plays in this episode This episode also shows that the plot changes depending on who is writing the episode
Frank has three things to show of his life; a TV tribute, a room between two bowling alleys and 'THIS HAIRCUT!!!'. Ironically, Homer would likely kill for any of them. :P
Daaamn. This is like the deepest comment on here. We may think we have it worse in comparison to others, but in many ways we probably have many things other people would want. That's trippy, dude...
There are two girls on my recent life: my master student (and best friend) who comes from a poor family and they're having economical problems because the crazy virus... and a girl I was dating who's from a family with money, got an easy life, had her own house, car and economical freedom... but her mother died some years ago. I bet the second one would be changing everything she have with my best friend if this would be translated as getting her mother back.
I read somewhere that the Frank Grimes character represents all of us working people. They wanted to show what it wold be like if a regular person lived in the Simpsons world. That's why compared to Homer, even Lenny and Carl, Frank didn't talk much nonsense, he spoke like someone we'd meet on a regular basis. Clearly, a person in the real world would go crazy in the Simpsons world.
+All the Usernames were taken So, yeah I'm sure the character of Frank Grimes was influenced on Bill Foster (D-Fens) in the movie Falling Down with Michael Douglas (AWESOME MOVIE) I recommend it but that is also rather sad.
Actually, this episode exaggerated a lot, and as miserable Frank Grimes was, he didn't have to be a jackass to Homer (his stupidity was upped a notch, but he was still nice).

I love this part of the episode. Grimes envies all the things Homer has, yet he has things that Homer would like to have, such as hair and living between bowling alleys. It really is just a matter of perspective
Just an wonderfully written point that most people can never be satisfied in their lives and worlds and always want something more or what someone else has.
Tell me, what kind of person would prefer living in some shabby apartment between two loud bowling alleys and hair, versus having a nice house with a wife and children that have high IQ and own entire factories?
@@iSyriux probably Homer lol. He loves his family, yeah, but remember that he dearly misses his hair and the sound of bowling is like music to him. He’d probably be happy in either situation to be honest.
In my opinion the Frank Grimes line of " I live in a small apartment above a bowling alley...and below another bowling alley" Is one of the funniest simpsons lines. You really get a feel for how grim ol Grimeys life is and how unhappy and unlucky he is despite all his hard work.
Homer actually said to Marge that he didn't think Frank would come if he told him it was for dinner so he lied to him that he had something really important to tell him.....
By cartoon logic, he was the one that started all the problem for the astronauts. Also he saved them by pure accident (not willingly) to the point that if they didnt restrain him of redoing what he did, they surely would have died.
The funniest thing is when Homer says "wow.' Like through all that he's just impressed by the fact that he lives between two bowling alleys and would probably switch homes with Grimes if he could.
Watching this clip again makes me feel sorry for Homer. Everything he did was his attempt to "put his best foot forward" so that Grimes would like him, but Grimes took everything the wrong way.
“You coast through life.” Homer’s mom left him to escape from the law for good reasons while he lived with his toxic father who drinks and complains. “You do little as possible.” He did so much - He wanted to become a bowling worker until his kids are born. He thinks too hard about what to remember and wants to do the right things for his kids and wife. “And you leech off decent, hard-working people.” Though that is true about society, there are times when Homer truly worked hard. When Lisa wanted a pony, he had to work full hours at Apu’s store. When he can’t make a robot for Bart, he disguised himself to play along. When Marge wanted a ring, he tried to do everything to buy it. Funny that both Homer and Grimes are on the similar account of “Living off a difficult life”. but each has their own bias on the other. Homer praises Grimes because he sees him as someone higher because he’s smart and neat, and normal. Plus he lives between two bowling alleys. Grimes, however, looked down on Homer and envies his lifestyle as if Homer got it easy.
Proof that perspective is EVERYTHING. Grimes has no way of knowing what Homer's been through, only what he himself has been through. As far as we know, Homer never saw that Grimes documentary in the beginning, so Homer has no way of know what Grimes has been through, only what he himself has been through. As such, it affects how they view each other.
to be honest homer did coast through life he got his job just because he showed up the day the plant opened his father abe while yes he wasn't the best father actually helped buy the house that homer lives under and he does try to do as little as possible at home and at work he is barely around for his family since he usually spends a day out of the month with them and he is a damn leech cause while he is just snoozing around and letting everything go to shit in the plant people are actually working
Even Homers position in the job where he does absolutely nothing was not given to him for free. He used to be lowly worker at the power plant where he was hired along with many other highschool graduates when Burns was building it. Once it was shown that Burns is trashing nuclear waste into illegal places Homer and Lisa made large campaign against Burns. Burns then gave Homer his current high position as a bribe to stop that campaign. He was risking his future to fight his boss to get that job, which was a huge gamble for him and his family, so to say that he was just given this position for free is downright false.
@@Sean-Johnson yeh but Homer is far more likeable than grimes. Grimes wouldn’t ever get promoted no matter how hard he works, as he has no people skills.
It’s not that simple. Frank wouldn’t get hired for a middle management position because the person over him would be afraid of losing their job. If you put a “Homer” in that same position you might have a to help him along but you know your job is secure
@@jaychung1380 I think maybe that's why people weren't too happy with Grimes. Sure, the dude had a really shit life and didn't have anything to show for his hard work, but the way he pins all that resentment towards Homer feels like the in-between of being justified and not. On one hand, Homer's laziness and absurd luck could be a source of contempt for anyone trying their hardest to make a living, but on the other hand, we often see a side of Homer where he cares about his family and friends and does kinda strive to do right, a side that Grimes unfortunately doesn't see.

Frank Grimes is a wordplay synonymous to truth and ruin. Frank really was frank with Homer. Frank Grimes is what Ned Flanders could been if he wasn’t faithful, happy and successful.
Not the real world but a post modern critique on Homer Simpson's character. At the end of the day, all Homer really does is abide with his time in life, where as Grimes is too materialistic to notice what can really make him happy. He's a godless man and his only desire in life is to be successful in spite of his cynical attitude towards society and most importantly, himself.
Frank Grimes Jr completely shat on this entire character by saying he wasted the money he burnt himself out on for hookers, while the whole point of Frank is that he’s the idyllic American hardworking honest man in the dishonest world of Springfield. I swear it’s like after season 8 the show turned into modern Family Guy
I get your point, but just think about this as follows: Grimes never got happiness, so it's implicit that not a single woman looked at him as a suitable partner. Many men go to hookers not fot sex, but searching company because they feel alone. I remember some confesions made by hookers on Reddit (maybe, I saw those on CZcams videos) and many were about men hiring them not for sex, but talking, many being recurrent clients. Also, I have a friend who dates older men, she said me about a man who was married, but always searching that "spark" he lost with his wife, so they dated, but also get involved in long conversations. This also happens to women, my sister lost his husband the same year her ex husband died (she technically became widow two times in less than 12 months), she's still trying to get a relationship because she feel a vacuum on her life. Grimes dying without knowing he got a son, a motivation for keeping his sanity makes his character even more tragic... but I just watched Grimes Jr's episode one time, I don't remember the details, but I guess Grimes never knew about him.
@@MrlspPrt But here's a question you should ask yourself, what hooker names their child after a guy they banged once as part of their job with a client they barely know? Also Frank doesn't seem like the type to hang around with prostitutes so his son could’ve just said that his mother and father use to date. That would’ve been a more legit answer than some random hooker.
I really felt sorry for the character Frank Grimes in this episode, his life is like a Greek tragedy where a man is cursed by the gods to suffer hardship and humiliation, doomed to failure no matter what he does. Like Sisyphus, where no matter how many times he pushes a boulder up a steep mountain in the underworld, at the top he weakens from exhaustion and the boulder rolls back down to the bottom again, for all eternity!
@@edwardgaines6561 nothing, he believes in a system that will not help him. Hard work doesn’t get anything. Luck, connections, and deceit benefit you in the system.
What Frank didn't get is that Homer, despite being more towards the lazy side, has a heart of gold, a good sense of humour, a knack for making friends, and a positive attitude. He probably never went out to party with friends, and his personality intimidated people into not wanting to be his friend.
+Neon Pegasus yeah that's the one side no one discusses, it's obvious that frank has let his denial of success make him bitter and confrontational, i mean it makes sense, he knows Homer doesn't work as hard or is as smart as him and yet he gets rewarded/tolerated whereas Grimes gets hits hard, but that's life.
+Mckenzie .Latham There's also the fact that despite these achievements, Homer is often fairly luckless. He neglected to inform him of the times he got stuck inside a water chute in a theme park, fell down a gorge (twice) and has risked losing his mansion and his loving family over and over again. His wondrous space mission was a disaster that ended up with him ignored in favour of a nuclear carbon rod while touring with the Smashing Pumpkins got him permanent injuries in a stunt (with his fickle kids being embarrassed by him just because he didn't risk killing himself). He gets the negatives as much as the positives, just both are concentrated to their extreme.

I think it says a lot that rather than revising his initial opinion of Homer as a dumb lazy oaf upon learning he has a lovely home, perfect family, is friends with a former president, has been on tour with a rock band, went to space, and is a Grammy winning artist- Frank is just more angry, indignant and jealous. Rather than admiring Homer and considering he might have something to learn from him, Frank just blames the world that Homer has everything and he has nothing.
franks whole character trope is that he believes in hard work. ever since he was literally abandoned on the roadside as a child, he had worked hard, and despite his efforts the universe kept shitting on him, which only then made him try even harder. and in the end he has nothing to show for his wasted years and endless effort. meanwhile everything just lands into homers lap from the sky like hes some modern day biblical figure favored by god. I would be bitter as hell too ngl.
I like how even though Frank hates homer homer just wants to be friends with him. I kinda miss that version of homer because now he is just Jerkass homer.
This episode really upset a lot of people and continues to. The real reason is that most people in America "think" they are like Frank Grimes, but deep down they are afraid that they are really like Homer Simpson. The subtle truth makes people uncomfortable.
Sausages, I agree. Compared to Peter Griffin, who I'm pretty sure deep down hates his family like the other Griffins do, the Simpsons seem to actually love each other. Sure Homer chokes Bart, but that's become so iconic that it's accepted by us. Plus, Bart always does something to deserve it, unlike Meg who never does, and mistreated by everyone
The core truth of life is that some people get handed everything on a silver platter through absolutely no doing of their own, through sheer luck and/or inheritance and are blind to this fact, while others can struggle their entire life and never have to show anything for it, through no fault of their own.
But Homer does work hard. Or at least relative to how lazy he is... He hates working at the plant, but he does it to provide for his wife and children. And Homer does come from a broken home, his father was occasionally abusive, he had trouble in school, and no one really supported him until Marge came along.
Lol, homer isnt a nerd who spends all day behind screens being armchair thinker. If he struggles he works hard. He doesnt blame society or americca. Unlike most Americans who spent time behind their screens.
@@blackboxbs8642 "He works hard"... Have you ever watched the show? He constantly cuts corners, does everything half-assed and is proud of it and everything falls into his lap. 85% of millionaires come from nothing. So hard work usually does pay off. Don’t let life get ya down. Kill or be killed (not actually but you get the point)
People misunderstand that Grimes is a reflection of the other half of America - the hard workers that life isn't fair to, and that point of fairness that he's so focused on drives him to anpoint of insanity and death. Homer is the half who is content to let the world do its thing while he's enjoying himself, just coasting along and well, being lucky. Luck is a huge part of life and Grimes doesn't understand it which drives his bitterness into insanity.
I love it then Grimey is impressed of Homer’s house, family, clothes, food, cars and yet Homer is impressed that he lives between two bowling alleys 😂😂😂
There's a lot to dislike about Homer BUT his attitude of seeing the best of a situation counts for a lot. When Grimes is bitter about living in-between two bowling alleys, Homer sees that as a plus. Now, obviously the reality of hearing balls knocking over pins 24/7 must be maddening but Homer is different to Grimes because he doesn't let it get him down.
You don't see how it might be frustrating for someone living in a gorgeous house to be like "wow, you are so lucky!" because they don't realize how bad living between two bowling allies would be? Its like someone living in a gated community telling someone living in a shithole apartment how envious they are of the poor person because they get to live in such a bohemian atmosphere. Homer lets adversity get him down all the time. The difference between Grimes and Homer isn't that Homer is accepting of his fate with a smile. Its that Grimes tries to make his situation better by working hard and playing by the rules, and Homer tries to make his situation better with mad cap cartoon schemes. And because Homer is in fact a cartoon character in a sitcom, it works out ok for him.
Frank spending 2 minutes in Homer's house as a guest is like viewing someone's Facebook. Things get prepared to impress others and hide the shitty elements.

This is the turning point for when Frank loses sympathy. He was invited to dinner and instead of just accepting friendship he allowed himself to be consumed with envy and spite.
Frank doesn't realise he's being invited over for dinner, all he was told was that homer urgently needed to talk to him which was why he came over. Although Homer may not have meant to do all of those things to Frank, from Franks perspective it just seemed as if homer was rubbing salt on the wound and being condescending by showing off his 'perfect' family.
Honestly, although Homer is an idiot, he has one thing that so many rich people have that people like Grime overlook, people skills. No matter what happens on the show homer is still likable by everyone and he knows how to work the crowd.
Those aren't people aren't like Frank Grimes. Frank Grimes got to where he is by working hard and befriending those who could help him, but Homer was such an insufferable jackass with more success than any normal person would have in a lifetime, including Frank himself despite all the work he put into his life, that it drove him crazy.

I always despised Frank’s bitterness and jealousy. He hates Homer because Homer has what he wants, not what he needs. Homer needed a larger house for his growing family. He stays devoted to Marge and deeply loves his kids, especially Lisa and Maggie. He has his faults, but Homer’s got a good heart and keeps things simple, instead of desperacy to reach the top like Grimes. Homer isn’t exactly happy with his life, but he’s content, and provides for his family. I respect people like that.
Yeah, I wish Homer wouldn’t have to be this too oblivious. (the writers probably should’ve known this and then it doesn’t need to make it worse, at least) Grimes really needs to control himself, understands and be content of any of this but we all know what happens next
He hates homer because he's an idiot and doesn't deserve anything he's got lol. He's right when he says he's leeching off hard working people. Homer does nothing all day.
What's sad about this exchange/episode is Frank Grimes never knew that Homer is no different than him. Homer is insanely jealous and resentful of Ned Flanders because he has a better lifestyle than his. Though I agreed with everything Grimes has said, he lost me at the "decent, hardworking" part. Hardworking, yes. Decent, far from it. You can't go through life with a bitter and resentful attitude. This is definitely one of the most realistic and definitely darkest episodes.
It's not indecent to be human. Frank's gone through a hard, unrewarding life, yet he still chugs on, doing his menial job and paying his taxes. You know, until he goes insane. It''d be difficult not to be embittered, especially when the person who represents the antithesis of everything you stand for works right next to you.
Frank only got bitter after Homer kept harrassing him and distracting him during work. You are biased against Grimes because this is a cartoon and you like Homer too much. In real life, I doubt you would tolerate Homer's behaviour.
Homer doesn’t need to work the same way everyone else does, cause he takes initiative and is an overall likable guy, that’s what causes him to get ahead in life, he isn’t picky about things and is always down for something fun
I personally would find his loud demeanour and outright oafishness too much, but that's just me. I would still be nice to him and say hello in passing, and live it at that.

Homer's 'success' comes from getting along with people.
And taking initiative.
His success comes from the cartoon producers.

His success comes from being in good place at good time and luck and being precieved as harmless
You don't need to argue with him, he's not real.

Real people vs cartoon people
He really captures the “too confused to be angry” voice.
I mean, Ned's life also takes a nosedive. His business fails and his wives keep dying.

No need to defend anybody. Grimes is a spiteful and envious character and no matter how much u may feel sorry for him, the fact remains that Frank's jealousy is what caused his life to end
There is also nothing to defend because it’s true
Homer has all those things happen to him because he got lucky
He earned none of it
It’s like if you won an art trophy even though you didn’t even apply for the competition
If that happened to someone I knew, I wouldn’t defend or laud them either

Because then he wouldnt come
It wouldn't have mattered
Homer saved the astronatus and got no credit for doing so.
Grimey would have related to that.
Well he couldn't have done it without the carbon rod.
Homer and the other astronauts should have kept their mouths shut about the carbon rod so that they would have gotten credit and a parade.
Homer is the reason the astronauts had their lives in danger in the first place. That's not reward worthy.
By cartoon logic, he was the one that started all the problem for the astronauts. Also he saved them by pure accident (not willingly) to the point that if they didnt restrain him of redoing what he did, they surely would have died.
And maybe Grimes could also relate to Bart on the fact that the factory he got was a piece of shit that collapsed on itself.
"I live in a one room apart over a bowling alley and below another bowling alley" is probably the funniest joke in the entire history of the show
My single favourite line in all of The Simpsons. 2nd fave is “We shouldn’t have stopped for that haircut. Sorry.”
Also the followup of Homer being genuinely impressed
The funniest thing is when Homer says "wow.' Like through all that he's just impressed by the fact that he lives between two bowling alleys and would probably switch homes with Grimes if he could.
Watching this clip again makes me feel sorry for Homer. Everything he did was his attempt to "put his best foot forward" so that Grimes would like him, but Grimes took everything the wrong way.

“How in the world can you afford to live in a house like this Simpson”?
“I dunno, don’t ask me how the economy works”
"Got ya there dad"
“You coast through life.”
Homer’s mom left him to escape from the law for good reasons while he lived with his toxic father who drinks and complains.
“You do little as possible.”
He did so much - He wanted to become a bowling worker until his kids are born. He thinks too hard about what to remember and wants to do the right things for his kids and wife.
“And you leech off decent, hard-working people.”
Though that is true about society, there are times when Homer truly worked hard.
Wouldn't you run from Abe and never look back?
Not the best husband or father, but still not a bad guy.

I think this episode was written by Conan
Not the real world but a post modern critique on Homer Simpson's character. At the end of the day, all Homer really does is abide with his time in life, where as Grimes is too materialistic to notice what can really make him happy. He's a godless man and his only desire in life is to be successful in spite of his cynical attitude towards society and most importantly, himself.
@@bloodwrage Everyone keeps assuming that with classic episodes 😂.
Actually it reveals that Grimey can be a hypocrite too. Hardworking and getting hard at the same time.
Pretty sure it was written by people who HATE Homer's Enemy to begin with.
In the spanish dub He just said that grimes liked hookers.
This... this is one of the greatest scenes in film and television history.
But Sisyphus kinda was a huge dick when he was alive..

People misunderstand that Grimes is a reflection of the other half of America - the hard workers that life isn't fair to, and that point of fairness that he's so focused on drives him to anpoint of insanity and death.
