Awesome job! Hope to never have to rebuild our 17' P500, but you never know. It's been a good little machine. Yea, having manual steering really sucks. Hope to upgrade ours to power steering at some point.

It’s one I bought off eBay that was listed by a Honda dealer so I don’t have a link for it. That dealer may have more available if you search for it on eBay, or even google!

I have a 17 p500 with 6,300 miles that needs rebuilt. I have lost all respect for Honda. I’m a mechanic and have maintained it meticulously. Might just load it up with tannerite, watch a big boom, then head to the polaris dealership lol. Dinky little pos ain’t worth rebuilding.
Do you have a shop that takes business for UTV's? I cant find any info anywhere as to where it might be located???
Not anymore. I did for a couple years but now work at a Can Am/cfmoto dealer.

What rebuild kit did you use?
I had a Pioneer 500 with 3,000 miles on it burning oil! Honda isn't as reliable as they used to be!
How many miles on Mighty Mouse?
Around 2700-2800
What does a job like that cost?
This full rebuild was just over $2400. A lot less than a dealer would charge!
Hondas are not built like they once were. I had a pioneer 500 sxs and finally decided the lack of features, low speed, and build quality not meeting past performance...... I switched to Polaris, I have not regretted the decision.
100% agree. We had a pionner 700 with 3000kms and the Fuckin gas tank was falling out of it because of rust. Biggest rust bucket I’ve ever seen. The gas tank sat on sheet metal plain cheap!
