I knew you made this a long while ago, but for the benefit of your viewers a dab of grease on the keepers will do a lot to prevent them escaping to the cold embrace of the ever expanding void under the workbench.
Been really enjoying binging your channel since I found it the other day. Great stuff.
Yo this guy’s got jokes! But seriously, this is a great instructional video and it’s worth it for the humor. Thanks.
I love the effort your put into doing this right… except when it comes to one of your valves 😂
One of the best videos on this particular wuad
This is a great video. His one step forward and 2 step back process is identical to mine. Awesome instructional video with the struggles.
Crazy he got good tips for things , the vavle grinding but , still doing the 9hr shift at vavle sitting school with his socket thing 😂
awesome vid I bought a 90 Honda trx for my kids for cheap it has 100 psi compression so probably needs rings or close anyway also found most of the suspension needs work and the brakes but just picking away at it hoping it makes for a good quad once its all done
This video helped a lot thank you
It's called Prussian blue because the Prussians used to use it to dye their military uniforms.
nice video
Why did you place oil gap ring inline with piston pin?
So I'm getting a free Honda it's newer that the one you are working with will this video still help are the basically internally the same ?
Thanks for posting. Very helpful. Do you need to lube the valve stems when re-installing new valves?
Wouldn’t hurt! A thin coating of motor oil would be nice
The evil spirits out ahaha
how much is the snap on washer? probably more than I can afford.
$57 but you have to factor in the lifetime warranty.
I also put the piston in cylinder first lol
I put my piston on first
damn four strokes and those pesky valves
Honda RFVC are the worst motors Honda has made. 4 valve engine design of the early 1980''s were a mistake. Honda has never changed the top end design and they're still same today in A650L and TRX400. Honda knows it and even admited to it in numerous articles. More top end and valve train train problems than any other motor I have seen even Suzuki made better four strokes the DR and DRZ were superior.
