- Vignettes from the NASCAR race at Funk's Speedway on Oct. 15, 1950 located in Winchester, In. and won by Lloyd Moore. It would be Frewsburg N.Y.'s Lloyd Moore's only NASCAR win. From the Julian Buesink Film Collection.

Great video! Interesting, never heard of Bucky Sager in the 101, but that Plymouth was probably the most underpowered car in the field. Nice piece of driving toget 2nd!
his best ever finish in nascar
Fun fact: No one in this field ever won a Grand National race again. This was Moore's only win, Jimmy Florian and Bill Rexford both got their lone wins earlier in the year, and all three of Dick Linder's wins had already happened.
Ya think any of those guys ever used the horn or turn signals out of habit?
this was also Bucky Sagers best nascar finish, 2nd place.
High banked dirt track, one thing leads to another. This is so great. I wasnt born till 55 but always heard these names when I was young. Tracks like these lead to Daytona. Great footage, so glad to see this...ps: I wonder how many men flew over the wall in turn 3&4 ?
Is it still there?
Anybody know what color Lloyd Moore's #59 car was ?? It doesn't look as dark as some of the other black cars. So must be another color. I want to make a diecast of it.
Greenish Black ?
How do u find these clips
The common denominator is Lloyd Moore I noticed. Whereever HE went there is film ! That includes NASCAR. AWESOME isn’t it!
