OVERRATED?! Super shoes for BELOW AVERAGE runners

- I got a comment a while back that I was too slow to be racing in super shoes. When I read it, I didn't take offense (I'm okay with my level of running ability) instead filing the comment away in the back of my head. I recently started thinking about it again after ordering my most recent pair of carbon plated running shoes.
Yes, there have been some wild deals lately but are slower, bigger, regular runners really getting anything out of these specialized super shoes or are we just falling for the hype? Here's what my experience tells me...
I’m an average to below-average runner and I run all the time in the vaporfly’s. Speed isn’t a priority, but comfort is and super shoes are where it’s at. They help me enjoy running.
This 100000%!!! So many of these "you're too slow for super shoes" people don't get it.
What shoes do you recommend for an below average overpronator ? Is Kayano 30 Good?
Super shoes and super uncomfortable unless you’re very fast. This is exactly the problem. People confusing what super shoes are for. Most people will even have a spare just to warm up on race day before putting the vaporfly’s on.
@@adityaaima3302Saucony tempus or Squcony Guide. Much better foam. Or asics superblast. The kayano has a very high drop and a little too much stability. Anyway, this is youtube theory.
In practice, even if you overpronate, you might be better with less stable shoes. This is my case: I slightly overpronate, but stable shoes hurt me as they interfear too much with my running mechanics .

I think the carbon plate helps stabilize the foot a little more, which in turn means less energy going sideways and more energy "funneled" (for lack of a better word) into forward motion, which of course translates into more speed. The superfoam also of course helps in cushioning the blow but whatever I just said doesn't mean anything because no two supershoes are identical. A Hoka Carbon X is shit objectively speaking for an elite but it's gold for an overpronator, so to each their own, really.

Thanks for producing content on running Kori - I really like your takes on topics like this. My running story is closer to yours than most other YT running content creators - just be careful, you might lose your audience if you do ever turn pro and start running that 2hr marathon!
I'm trying on carbon plate racers next week - hoping they will give me a psychological boost as my "super racers" if nothing else.
The Sydney Marathon is being considered for addition into the Majors this year..... I'd love to see you on an un-professional running world tour!
When I retire someday, I plan on hitting all the big marathons around the world. In the meantime, I'll be sticking to the streets of NYC (and maybe Chicago when I get picked in the lottery).
My guy got me a pair of Alphflys as a present for running my first marathon, and for my first run in them only 4 days after running the marathon, I was only a minute off my HM PB!! Without even trying to do it!!! Running my second ever marathon in them I took 24min off my time!! Now, ok for sure I worked my butt off also, but even so!!!! But MOST importantly, I absolutely LOVE running in them, they are FUN and make me fall in love with running all over again!!
If a shoe makes running more fun for you, clearly it's a good purchase.

I totally agree. I’m a heavier runner and the carbon plate really makes a difference shaving off 1 minute from my mile and with moderate effort.
I don’t feel as tired either compared to my daily trainers. I used the Zoom Fly 4 not even the highest carbon plated shoe from Nike.

Super shoes are great for recovery. I’m all about what keeps you running longer and injury free. I ran my last 5k in the endorphin pro 2 and I plan on running in the alphafly this weekend.
I’m also a slower run guy. I needed an Everyman review of super shoes before taking the plunge on the Alphafly or Prime X. Sounds like the cushioning and carbon plate is what makes them worth it - if it saves my knees, then I’m in; Thanks for this video!
The carbon plate will destroy your knees, instead try the Nike Tempo. It is like the Alpha fly without the stiff carbon plate. Way more comfortable for slow runners and short strides.

I am a fairly average, heavy, tall runner and I definitely notice a difference using the super shoes. But I think it’s important to only use them for races and sparingly throughout training. Cause when you put them on for race day they feel like a special weapon
I stayed away from the Vaporfly for the longest time because I thought it was intended for elite runners. Then I watched Kofuzi’s 100 mile review of the shoe, and he changed my mind. A few months later, I ran my HM PB. Fast forward to two weeks ago, I chose to run another HM in my Hoka Mach 4 (which I used as a daily trainer for the most part) and ran my slowest HM ever 😂 So do I think super shoes help? Hell yeah!
I was the same way, Ivan! I finally picked up a pair last year and was instantly hooked!
I ran the Brooklyn Half in Nike Alphafly's with bad plantar fasciitis pain, and, to my surprise, I actually ran it in 2:04. I thought I was going to be much slower because of the pain I was experiencing. So I would say, yeah, those shoes definitely do their job.

- I would have thought you'd run a PB sooner than that in a super shoe (Vaporfly). Before I bought my Alphaflys I was already running quick times in my HOKA Cliftons. Then I put on my new pair of Nike's and ran almost 3 minutes quicker (14km). But that was just to trial them. They went back in the box after that, only to come out on race day. Personally, I think achieving PB's in super shoes is pointless. I'd rather set new PB's in a standard runner, then on race day I fly like the wind.

So funny you make a video about shoes. I'm NOTORIOUS for NOT spending money on shoes. (For personal reasons, I'm not giving NIKE a cent of my money) So, I had to retire my Asics and decided I needed 2 pairs, for training and speed work/race day. My first thought was ... you've got to be kidding!! But, it was the right decision because I needed the right shoes to help me do workouts that would help me increase my speed and lower my times. But, on a budget, I still found good deals. I got some New Balance Prism Cell for my training runs. $80 shoe for $40, while I vacationed with the family in Nashville this summer, and found some Saucony Endorphin Speed 2, a $160 shoe for $95 at a local Academy, for my speed work and race day. The difference has been tremendous! Compared to these shoes, my Asics felt like cement blocks!
I've been able to do workouts/sessions where I've gotten 2 new PB times in the 5k and 10k (5k 27:31 to 24:45; 10k 55:14 to 53:35), and that wouldn't have happened if I didn't upgrade my shoes. Now my new shoes aren't carbon plated SUPER SHOES, by any stretch. But, in averages of 75 F weather in 95% to 100% humidity on an average of 5am in the morning during this crazy hot Texas summer and running those new times, I've got to go to that cheesy 90's slogan ... it's got to be the shoes!! 😁👍

Having a rotation of shoes for different runs really does make a HUGE difference,. not only to performance but just general enjoyment. As far as the Endorphin Speed, I think the argument has been made that it's a BETTER shoe that the carbon plated Endorphin Pro (at least in the 1st and 2nd generations)
@@KoriRuns First time I wore the Saucony I could tell an IMMEDIATE difference. That nylon plate just sprung me forward, even just trying them on in the store.
I've been running and training for the last 5/6 weeks, but I made a pivot starting last week. Streamlined much of my strength training/treadmill-walking/swimming sessions. Tried to do too much, and things were getting missed. So I changed things around to fit my schedule better, so far so good.
There is a 5k that I've scheduled in the training for October 8th where I live. I've got a recovery week, and a small tapper to have my legs fresh for that run. Both of my new PBs have been done on my own. Looking forward to how I respond with people. After that race, I've got 6 solid weeks of marathon distance training. A big challenge in a VERY small town! My first long run will be 22km, and the distances will only grow from there. My tapper for the Half Marathon will be two weeks to have myself prepped for San Antonio with my eyes on a time close to 1:55:00.
I'll also be doing a community theatre play during all of this as well. It was a show that got canceled when COVID first hit, now there is an opportunity to bring it to the stage finally. It will be done the weekend before Thanksgiving, so it will end right when my HM tapper starts. My last long run during the final weekend of performances will be 35km. Busy time! I seriously just ran a half marathon for fun last night. I got a pair of plated shoes for daily's last fall. They were great until it was time to NOT have a plate anymore, then my feet hurt.
Boy am I glad I found this channel though. I'm 6'3" and 180lbs, tall but skinny and it's all torso too so seriously the least efficient runner's body ever. I like being the slow and steady guy. First channel that's slower than me, I did my half marathon in 2:13.57 last night.
Great topic Kori! For the past year I've been racing in the Endorphins and have set PRs in shorter distances. Haven't raced in them in longer distances yet because I'm not sure about stability with tired legs. Nike's stack height seems a bit concerning stability- wise.
You should try taking your endorphins out on a long run sometime. You might be surprised!

The Zoom Fly 3 had a lot of pop but was too firm to be considered a real super shoe.
I am a believer that the carbon plate starts working depending on the effort (or weight). So there is no pace or mph that activates the carbon plate, which some believe. And your thoughts on weight are pretty right (from my thinking). In some cases, a lighter runner has to put in more effort than a heavier runner. You basically want to try to bend that plate (by weight or by effort or both). So being an average runner, to decide on what race day shoe I'll wear depends on my training, "Am I racing or jogging this race?" will determine super shoe or not.
Yes yes yes! Running at pace in the Adidas adizero pro 2 as a heavy runner almost feels like I'm floating. Those super stiff rods and that bouncy foam makes it feel like I'm running on pogo sticks!
Can you ask Adidas why they don't make that shoe in a 14 for me??!! That's a shoe I've wanted to try for the longest time.
@@KoriRuns I'll be sure to do that! I think the saucony endorphin speed 3 comes in bigger sizes. That one is a winner 😉.. the endorphin pro 3 is a dime piece too. bouncy and lovely. If I'm not wrong, I think you're a mid to forefoot striker too so I bet you'd really get the pop out of them .
I find the right "Super Shoes" not only help during my races, but if I'm doing a long hard workout I'm much more ready for the next run if I was using a shoe like the next% 2 where it was softer.
You're 100% right. There are some days that you just need "squish", especially during a longer training cycle.
Newbie over weight runner here and for the first 5 months of my running journey I used Gaviota 5 as my sole running shoe. After getting some confidence and finally experiencing the difference in my “slow run” vs “fast runs”, I got some shoes meant for speed days (got myself a Mach 5).
The difference is great. I felt lighter and psychologically primed to run faster.
My first carbon plated shoe is on the way and hopefully I will enjoy running more because of it.
I don't run marathons, hat off to you Kori for it! It's way beyond my abilities. I don't think I can run the distance, maybe run/walk, maybe :D
Fastest shoe I own is bought from ebay (i'm cheap haha) pair of Nike Zoom Fly SP. The midsole isn't even a pebax foam, it's lunarlon, the plate isn't carbon - it's a nylon, carbon INFUSED plate and it's between 10s and 15s faster over the 5K compared to my Nike Flyknit Racer (traditional racing flat that's even 20grams lighter). I can't even imagine how faster would be something more modern than my Zoom Fly. My 5k is 23min. So it helps slow guys too.
A 23 minute 5k isn't slow to me 😂!!! Yeah, I definitely think there's a place for super shoes at all levels.

Any thoughts on the best mid-priced super show? I wouldn’t mind spending $200+ on a super shoe but I have other sports hobbies that tend to be expensive too (i.e. golf)
Adios pro 3 and metaspeed Sky + are consistent in my rotation. They’ve helped me achieve my own PRs maybe not as fast as the winner but fast for me. I’m 6’2” 230lbs and I excel in both.
I’m a average runner dude. But I do own a pair of next pct they don’t make I run faster. They let u run your faster pace longer w o getting tired as quick .
I do all my training in a pair of HOKA Cliftons. I only bring out my Alphaflys on race day. That's when you notice the difference. But you're right, if you train in a super shoe it doesn't give your body the adaptation required especially for an endurance race.
I finally have my used- Alphafly Next%1 from friend. I'm a slow runner and i kinda like the soft feel from the bouncy alphafly, that somehow make my breathing feel fine hahaha

Good info. I'm about to run my first marathon and am a bit worried about foot pain at my weight. I haven't tried one yet because I have wide feet and I don't think any cold in W sizes.
I wouldn't let the wide thing dissuade you. Definitely to a store and try on different brands in size up - it might work.

For a race day super shoes are excellent I believe for any runner almost , they just make me soo happy 😁
I am a middle of the pack runner and I really like 'super shoes'. I am running PBs that I haven't been able to touch in 10+ years. Now are the shows the primary reason for that, probably not but I am still enjoying the ride. So far I am on my 3rd pair of Vapourflys and just picked up first pair of Hoka Rocket X 2.
Totally! My view is if you enjoy running in them, go for it! Improved times are a bonus!
@Sergio-dh5qh I recently ran a 10km PB in them although I wouldn't attribute that to the shoes only. I do think rockets are a bit wider, more durable but a bit heavier. All in all love my Rockets (and my Clifton 9s for training)
Woah c'mon mate, remember the great one's catchphrase, "no human is limited." You can do it! Seriously though, the biggest advantage of a super shoe is the improved recovery because the foams can absorb more of the pounding. The decreased injury risk alone is enough to warrant them being worn by anyone who chooses to. Speed is irrelevant. That being said, we do need to be careful of the trend of injuries occurring 'up the chain." Just because all of the cool kids are getting sacral stress fractures, doesn't mean you want one!

- But don't forget, these shoes degrade quickly so you'd need to be earning some decent money to replace them in half the time as a standard runner.
I bought a pair of vaporflys a few months ago. Half price sale.. wanted to see what the fuss is all about. They have been sitting in my closet. I'm not a fast runner at all...and I put them on this morning and did 4 mile on the treadmill. I don't know if it was the excitement of fun shoes or what but I did it 8 minutes fast than I did last week. I normally run in saucony endorphin speeds. Or asics nimbus
There's no question the Vaporflys have some pop. They basically changed the entire running shoe industry.
I am part of the people that believe carbon shoes are only for people who run fast or do long strides. For short strides or any pace slower than 3h00 marathon, the carbon plate will hardly bend and therefore not give the necessary kick back.
Also, I ran Boston in 3h09 and I think the carbon plate hurt my knee because of my poor form. I believe the carbon stiffens the sole so slow runner could hurt their knee on the landing if they land on the heel or on a flat foot.

Do these shoes last in regular training or are they meant for races? Timely video, I just bought a new pair of Nike Frees and they are not doing it for me.
Every shoe is different, and some foams are more resilient. Personally, I might take out a super shoe for my interval and tempo runs. Maaaaaybe for long runs, depending on the shoe.
I am a casual 5k runner only averaging at about 8 to 9 minutes per km. But with super shoes, i get about 7 plus minutes or slightly below 7 minutes per km and it makes the run more enjoyable.
I have 4 pairs of shoes, and the best ones are Endorphin Speed 4`s… My calves are on fire with Novablast 3 and clifton 9 really early on the run, but with the Speed4`s, it`s easier for me to maintain a ”quicker” pace without the burning sensation, and my legs are less tired. They just fit my slow ass better 😃
Alphafly is perfectly fine with slow runners. Vaporfly might be a bit tough if you run low cadence.

Wish I could try more of the 'super shoe' varieties. I have wide feet and most (all?) don't have that size option. I tried an upsized HOKA carbon X and ended up with a stress fracture. Can't say it was 100% the shoe, I was adding miles for an ultra at the time and likely that and diet contributed. I'd try more shoes if I could get wider sizes... :(
So sorry re stress fracture. Heal soon! I just got the Saucony Pro 3 and I’m definitely going to try it for a fall Half! It’s pretty wide.
I also have wide feet but have found success by going a full size up. Separately I heard some negative things about the original Carbon X. I'd definitely go to a running store and just try a bunch of different shoes on. You might find something that works.
The Pro 3 is a beautiful shoe!!!! Seems like it has also been very well received!!!
@@laurainthehaute918 Been using the Kinvara line for a few years, and the Triumph ISOs before that. I loved the feel of the Kinvara 11s. The 12s were pretty good. The 13 isn't feeling right on my foot oddly.
@@KoriRuns Been trying out a pair of Altras that fit mostly well. Downfalls are they don't have much 'pop' to them and the lace holes don't really allow for a runners knot. I get a lot of slip without a runner knot, probably due to the exaggerated bumps on the back of my heels.
Timely video! I'm a little faster than slow but slower than fast. 200lb #bigbonedflatfooted runner with moderate overpronation. I've tried several super shoes as of late and ran my most recent 3 marathons 2 of the top shoes and have done shorter races and long time trials in the TOP shoe.
However, they seem to work against me after around 18 miles due to the instability. Like just under 3 hours is the max I can run in them, and unfortunately, I need a little more time than that for a marathon. So my next race in 2 weeks will be in a poor man's super shoe, my most reliable trainer: the Nike Zoom Fly 4. Being a heavier guy, the stiffer mid sole is more stable. On my faster long runs, I feel fresher in the ZF4 than the bouncy super duper shoes. Still has a carbon plate, but you really gotta be a big guy like us to feel the benefit in my humble opinion.

Maybe, maybe not. I feel like I'm a lot slower than I was a year ago.
I did all 10 weeks of training for a 14km run in 2 well know plated supershoes.. out did my expectations and lost like 12 kgs (started 100kg down to 88.. im about 5'7, so well overweight) absolutely NO INJURIES WHATSOEVER.. even with the (relative to my slowness) high weekly volume, with some of those days i ran doubles.. no 'easy' runs in these weeks
Having being bit by the running bug, i continued to train, but with a well reputable 'daily trainer'.. got these shoes with the popular notion that 'you shoild never train with plated shoes for all your runs, as they with ruin your joints and tendons'
With heavy irony, it was only 4 weeks in of ALL easy runs, that my soleus froze tight .. wasnt too bad, only had to take 2 days off, but i thought it was rather interesting indeed.. there was no obvious reason why it tightened (maybe just overtraining), but glad to say its better
Given the above, important to point out, almost every day of those 10 weeks i used kinesiology tape at the very least my achilles.. also, ive got experience from years back and know/am obsessed with injury-preventative proper form
So I reckon, that 'popular notion' is overrated in the grand scheme if things.. if it makes u want to train nore, then do it... But i have a practical reason to minimise use of the supershoe: the $$ hurts everytime i see some additional wear in them
As a side note, yesterday i put on the plated shoes for the first time in a month (not to run, but to see what it was like) man im blown away at the difference vs non plated, especially in the way that 'forgotten' how they feel like

Supershoes are shoes that give you strong ankles without having strong ankles. If you already got strong ankles, it won't benefit you much because you already got good toe-off abilities.
It also gives you good shock absorption but you can do the same through hard training (aka well-conditioned athlete)
Basically, superheroes are like a tennis racket with a big sweet spot. If you are a master of your craft, you'll hit the ball in the sweet spot anyways, so the racket won't benefit you as much as someone who is less skilled.
Interesting take. It's definitely true that strong runners have strong ankles. I'ver never heard the tennis racket analogy before.
@@KoriRuns technology makes running more fun, but don’t mistake it as if it’s magic shoes.
It also doesn’t make you less likely to get injured while running, so don’t think these shoes will make your invincible and run as often as you want because they feel great.
Just as many people get injured running these shoes as people who don’t run with supershoes.

I have 200+ mi on my pair and love every bit of it. I’m 190lbs and slow
I'm a sub-90 HM runner. The ONLY time I wear my super shoes is on race day. Any other time I'm in a pair of HOKA Cliftons. Why? Four reasons. 1. There's enough cushioning in a pair of HOKA's to keep me injury free. 2. They give me enough cushioning but at the same time, they provide enough impact force to provide adaptation (especially when doing high kms). 3. Running in standard shoes keeps my training times honest - I don't want to be smashing out PBs in a super shoe because I don't believe these are true times. 4. On race day, I'm so very pleasantly surprised of the time I've achieved in my Alphaflys. The first HM I wore these I ended up running almost 4 minutes quicker - I couldn't believe my eyes.
If you can run a marathon, you are not "below average".

If you run a PR in a super shoe but you can't hit that time in a non-super shoe, are you faster? I mean, a strong tailwind in the 100m will make your time drop, but you won't be record eligible with the run because they consider it assisted. Something to consider.
Yep, absolutely. I run in HOKA Cliftons any other time in training. The only time I wear my Nike Alphaflys is on race day. Quite frankly, I don't want to wear super shoes in training as I believe it gives me a false reading. I'd rather be smashing out PBs in a pair of Cliftons, then be pleasantly surprised on race day.

I totally agree that only racing in these shoes is the best way to use them, training in normal shoes will help to strengthen the legs and feet and make race day seem like your flying. I run in Vibrams all the time, don't really like so called super shoes, but can see the benefit if used correctly.

....my take on it.......running is about joy and happiness, about celebrating life, about moving forward under our own power, about connecting to nature
.....so i give you my anecdotes: About 6 years ago i saw a picture of some running socks, different color and design for the left foot and the right foot, palm trees, light blue, orange the other one, made me think of Miami vice, beach, sunshine happy chilling in the hammock....i needed those socks, i got those socks, have not run in them so far, but look at them from time to time and smile...
About 3 or 4 years ago i saw a picture of some super shoes, and i was blown away, again different colors for right and left, the same colors i have seen on the socks, just a change of the sides.....i needed those shoes, i got those shoes, i have not run in them so far, but i put them in the glass vitrine and look at them every day....and i smile
was it worth the money ? absolutely yes...just looking at them in the vitrine before every single run make me smile, feel good and run better......
will i ever run in them? if i am still here in 2 years and 25 days, i will take them on a run to celebrate 50 years of running.....do i need super shoe for that run? absolutely yes somehow i feel i earned it

Super shoes make a difference for every type of runner. It's the way you run in them that makes the difference. If you run at a steady pace with a daily trainer, you will beat your time running at that same pace with super shoes. Super shoes give you an edge by being lighter and having a carbon plate.
To your point, the edge is not only physical but mental. If you're used to running in heavy daily trainers and put on a lighter, springier shoe -- you're probably going to feel lighter and want to run faster.
@@KoriRuns yes, I agree with that, but running faster can make you hit the wall faster. It's always good to keep a steady pace throughout the course until the end. That is how many marathoners use that type of shoe.
Your money, your choice. Buy what you want. Nobody is too slow for super shoes. Super shoes do help regardless of skill level. A Ferrari does make you faster on a race track than a Camry.

- Please explain. How? I'm a sub-90 for the HM and have been running for over 3 decades, but I only wear my super shoes on race day. I would never wear these during training because they don't allow your feet, ankles, joints and muscles to adapt in the same way wearing standard running shoes provide. Super shoes also have poor lateral loading and are useless if you're a heel striker.

- But if you're a cr@p driver, what does it matter? You'll still drive like a gumby even in a Ferrari. I know this because I have a friend who drives like a granny. He ended up buying himself an expensive sports car - I only have a moderate sports car. We took our cars to a circuit and guess who won? Not my friend - not by any margin. The only time he gained on me was down the straight, but on the corners he was all over the track.
Supershoes can hurt one's foot. I see a lot of youngsters with butter ankles using Vaporfly in races. The ankle can break. The body can compensate the forces from the knee or the hip. And this can hurt one to the point of needing medical assistance in the form of surgery.
lmao you added too many choices, I am not fast enough and I am too heavy for the Carbon plated ones the nylon plated however is butter..I will say however it's possible for you to break a record relevant to your journey. My record will be sub 4 at some point.
You'll get there, Wil! I don't know that I agree that you can be too heavy or slow for carbon plated shoes. I LOOOVE the feel of a nylon plate and pebax but the combination of squish and the rigidness of a carbon plate, offers its own sensation and benefits.
@@KoriRuns I have 2 a Saucony and Hoka they both feel the same to me just flat until I get on my toes. I'm a midfoot striker. The nylon plate for me is more responsive

They will benefit you in recovery but the super shoes don’t do much till you are below 6:30 per mile pace.
Also the next% are way faster and more comfortable than the Alpha Fly. The Alpha Fly was designed specifically for Kip to break 2 hour doesn’t really work for the rest of us.
They might not be faster, but they will lower the impact on your body, allowing you to run more without pain and injuries, making you faster over time.
I have yet to be injured in Supershoes, and even recently ran a Half while injured (took the children to a waterpark, things happened), I would NEVER have done this on a traditional racing flat.

- There's enough cushioning in good running shoes to keep a runner injury free. I run in HOKA Cliftons any other time in training. The only time I wear my Nike Alphaflys is on race day.
@@thepsychologist8159 I used to have a pair of heavily cushioned Eva Asics, a bit of a rip off of Clifton 2 or 3, they did the job, but were as much fun as cinder blocks. Now you get fast, cushioned and fun in a single package.
@@smellysam Doesn't a person get fast/faster by training more? As for footwear, anything that falls into the top 20 (not carbon or nylon plated) will provide adequate cushioning. I run up to 120km at peak in my HOKA Cliftons and I don't get foot, ankle or leg pain (or injuries). However, I do have a very efficient stride so this could have a lot to do with it. Seriously, some runners I pass during a race (or some that pass me) I think to myself "you really need to revise your technique" - it's like a slapping session, high impact.
What kind of click bait was this? Just say the time you get in your normal run and what time did you get wearing the super shoes? Then it doesn't have to be about the belief of running faster....it's just objective times. Would love you to make a new video and record your times--you could even see if they make a dent at sprints vs. mid-distance vs. longer distance. Beating your own time in other shoes is a record....
The super shoe conversation isn't just about running faster. I'm not a professional or elite level runner, so a few seconds or even a few minutes aren't changing my life. I wanted to address the other factors for slower runners. But yes, to answer your question, I've found it easier to run faster in a super shoe.
@@KoriRuns So it seems to me these shoes are assisting runners abilities and the question I think of is, ' Should they be allowed in races at all'. Does someone wearing them have an advantage over others who don't or can't afford to wear them. If so... then they should be banned.
