I have a 2015 Ford transit connect and I am having the same exact stinking problem. It just says sinking for the phone. I never see it show up on my menu and then it just times out.
2023, October: currently trying to pair my iPhone 11 to a 2010 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer. Can find SYNC in my Bluetooth list, but the pin prompt does not appear on my phone to input SYNC pin.
It took me a little bit to figure out how to get Pandora or Spotify to play through my Iphone but it can be done. Press menu Press Right Seek button two times Find Select source then press #6/Ok Press seek once until BT Audio is on the screen then hit Ok/#6.
Bruh I did exactly what he shows here and my phone says connected to bluetooth on my truck but still won’t play Bluetooth audio but truck speakers work when I play the radio
@@tillman40 yooo thanks this was huge for me. I been using aux cord for 3 years and gotta new phone that didn't have a head phone jack so I have been stressing about my tunes lol. Thanks again!
After you pair the phone to the truck go on the steering wheel and press the button with a little face on it with the three lines coming out of it and then request Bluetooth audio and then it should allow you to play your music at least on my F5 50 that’s what it does
Tried to get it to play music for 20 mins and just couldn't. Vehicles should not be this complicated. I dont care about system settings and phone book crap. Just let me play music! New vehicles are stupid for this reason. Too many features that ill never use, too many buttons.

When it goes wonky (and it does) unplug the battery and try after. I’ve had to do this 2x in 3 years. Tip from a fleet guy

Why does Ford make this harder than it has to be?
Yeah everything works on my radio but the screen itself. It’s come on a few times but it’s just a black screen… possibly needs a fuse.

Use the seek key to scroll over and delete all devices. Then it’ll prompt the pair a device
