Don’t forget to subscribe for more videos about CORNWALL and Falmouth I sometimes visit St Ives Cornwall and Padstow Cornwall too. Come here for everything from travel recommendations to beach reviews such as Perranporth Beach Cornwall. I also LOVE EXPLORING Cornwall’s coast line and the South West Coastal Path. Thank you for watching and commenting and liking the video.
I can't get enough of these videos, you should be really proud of what you have achieved so far well done Shaun. 😀
Thanks Stewart
For the front of the toilet, you could have created a groove on the inside of each of the batons (or space out two smaller batons) so the panel could have just slid down into place. You could then cut / drill a small hole in the top of the panel to get a finger in to act as a handle for easy removal.
Yea I might still do that as I think the ply will rub up against my legs
@@LoveSundays Plus by doing that and removing it prior to standing use, if your aim is off you won't destroy the ply... 😂
If you had the new, “in tank pump” fitted. The gauge sender unit is built into it….. it’s a faulty unit
The more I see the more I love❣️❣️❣️
You bring back Spanish nightmares carrying around a heavy (full) toilet. I saw a guy full hazmat style to empty him.
I've dropped you an email, hope it hasn't gone straight to junkmail. 👍
when you build the door to go in the garage you could put a pull out table from under the bed.
Love it. I have the same toilet and have been trying to work out the best way to hide it in a cubby like this. The only thing I would change, is instead of the hooks and dowels, just using a few good magnets.
Well that's a nice thumbnail to be confronted with as I sit down for Sunday breakfast...cheers for that
No worries
If you search IPs panel clips you’ll find that they work excellent maybe for future builds
Loving the new video you can tell everything is coming together and starting to look neat and tidy little suggestion maybe get a hard duty mat cut it and place it under the toilet with maybe a small handle on it attached so you drag the toilet out making it easy for you to take out without dragging it out on your new flooring 👍🏻
I used to look forward to the footie on a sunday..Now its i love sundays..keep the content coming mate ❤
Thanks Andrew
I would have said " more ball room " 🤣🤣@ 4:30 , this van conversion / build is a treat to watch I cant wait until its completed
New wheels look awesome, love the vids keep them coming! 👍🏼👍🏼
Great video mate. Flat head screws are for aesthetic reasons. Pre drill and fix by hand, keeps them clean
Lovely video again ❤ for your lift off toilet panel, grab some Hafele keku fixings.
They are used on back to wall toilet fixings when you need to get a front panel off....they also pull the panel in tighter and will not rattle like a hook would
Good advice thank you
Great Vid Shaun. Coming on nicely. You've overtaken me and I'm only doing a Transit custom Camper. Flat head screws are usually used for visual reasons. Cabinet makers use them a lot and love to line up all the slots in an OCD style!!! I think they are for hand tools only. i chuck em out and use cross head for the sake of my fingers and mental heath!!
Another great van build vlog, all coming together nicely, trials and errors of getting it right and thank goodness for phone a friend (Dad)😊 also great that it's not raining for once, eagerly waiting for next vlog, well done Sean 😎🤙🌊🏄♂️🚐
Loving this van build Shaun, nice to see your eye has healed up after yr little accident lol. Looking forward to next weeks instalment.
Nice to see you using the pocket hole jig game changer when you come to make furniture
Yea it was easy to use
Who knew that building a place for a toilet was so involved? Things turned out perfect I think. Can’t wait for next week to see what happens next.
Thanks Sally
Its really coming on now Shaun, love the way you worked the toilet. You are taking your time to think things through. It's going to be awesome when finished! Keep up the great work rgds Alan 👍
Thanks Alan
That vans coming on a treat now Shaun...No more bending down to walk round lol ...I enjoyed every minute of building Vicky, My van .Happy vanning mate.
Well done Shaun good design for the toilet and the panel by the bed. It's really taking shape now can't wait for the next episode.
Thanks Nigel
Hi Shaun fresh back from 4 days in Cornwall 👍😎 cadgwith was gorgeous you lucky man
Wendalls face on the newspaper lmao, fantastic thumbnail 👌
😂
I think they do flat heads for a more traditional look! There a pain but do look better if you’re going to see them 👍
I think you’re right
Brilliant as usual. These videos get better and better!
Thanks Peter
love this series love your vlogs....well done so far on your new vkogy boat. love it
Love these videos!
Your making it look easy with your positivity 😊
Thanks Ann
The sound of the toilet sloshing was a particular highlight! 🤢 Love your videos and your projects Shaun. 👍
Another good video and the van is looking good 👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏👏👏👏
Great job. I enjoy following this van-building 🙂
Thanks Torunn
Loving watching the progress
Thanks Peter
Reason for slot screws is if u making fine furniture, the decorative more apealing to the eye.
I think you’re right
@@LoveSundays I'm a woman we are always right and even if we are wrong, we are still right lol
Vans looking mint mate 👍🏼.
Great work again Shaun. It's really coming together nicely.
Cheers Colin
Your keeping me away from my fishing sessions again. This is going against the grain my friend.
Great vids mate. Really enjoying this series.
Great episode Mate, loved it. Such a great idea with the toilet, that’s my biggest pain in my van
The Plywood you put up on the front, that would look really nice carpeted like you’ve done everywhere else, in black, it will break up the white colour and also feel warm and inviting 🤙🏻🍊
Cheers mate
As usual shaun great video the van is coming along great loving seeing you build it and work out the problems thats what i loved about building our van. See you next week stay safe buddy love best wishes to the family 🙏 michael & Kim
Cheers
Totally agree with you flat headed screws are useless congratulations on the baby only just found your channel so ive watched all the new van build videos in one go ive really enjoyed them to the point im gonna go watch some of your other videos in the other van

Thanks Mick
Interesting loo crib. Nice work on the garage too! Happy Sunday 🌞
Thank you
Good job Shaun, not far off from finishing it now. It looks ace
It’s getting there still got loads to do though like the roof fan and the ceiling and all the electrics
These videos are brilliant! Vans looks wicked 👌🏻😊
Thanks Chris
yet another step closer to the fnished product. Looking forward to seeing the kitchen section
Thanks Glenda
Lol, safety crocks!😂
Looking very smart.... wish I had the room to hide toilet ..plus I actually think the badge on front of the van looks nice
Yea I might keep it. It’s growing on me
@@LoveSundays might be a giveaway though on being stealth if locals know your channel?
Your videos are truly worth watching mate and seeing the van come on bit by bit 🙏🏻
Thanks mate
@@LoveSundays No Worry's mate 🙏🏻
Love the sign off dude. The van is coming along so awesome . I love how you see something then make it happen. When is dad making an appearance?
Dude I love your videos! Been binge watching!
Cheers
Great video Shaun them there joinery skills are really coming on and don't think I didn't notice new little corner drilling jig thingy. Usually watching your videos in sunny Yorkshire. Watched this latest one in sunny ish cornwall pz 👍
Enjoy Cornwall Mark
As my employer said when I started as an apprentice joiner. " The art in dropping a boll**k is the way you get over it" 👍
😂
Love the amount of effort and the right tools for the job! I just eyeballed mine of a funny looking scribbled looking ikea plan that I had drawn! Love watching the build so far!
I done mate two places to read your Sunday paper 😅
Nice
Thanks Mark
Flat head screws are only there to hurt our fingers 😂😂
Top job mate. Coming together nicely
Thanks Dave
The plywood next to the toilet you could do some shelves. Within the plywood. If you know what I mean..Indents with in the plywood. Not sure how to explain it. I sm really enjoying your videos. They are great to watch xx
That’s a really good idea Kate. Somewhere to store toilet roll at least
Actually 😀 x
"safety Crocs" 😆is this where I say "touché"? Superb gadget for getting those angled holes drilled and that toilet is nicely hidden away. Another interesting video, cheers 👍🏻
Cheers
You make look so easy. I think about it but it never happens the way it comes out of my head 🤣
Afternoon Shawn hope you're having a good weekend buddy
Cheers Dave you too
Great episode and got there in the end with a little help from dad 😉
He always saves the day 😂
safety crocks and lots of sunglasses - exactly what a van builder needs these days.... thanks for making me laugh again and again! 🙏🏻
Hey Shaun, To Cut A Long Story Short, Phillip / cross head was created to solve a problem of flat heads being shit when you use a drill or a powered screw driver. if you have ever tried used a flat head in a drill/powered driver you'll know the pain of how badly it works lol. so if you need to use a drill /powered screw driver, phillips is the way to go... lol
Yea maybe I should’ve used a manual screwdriver 😂
@@LoveSundays You Use What Ever Ya Want Mate. "It's Your Van, & You Can Screw It How You Want Too!" (Like The Its My Party You Can Cry If Ya Want To song lol) haha
Your woodworking skills are really good. Love the safety crocs 😂
Cheers
Brilliant! Wish I could do that
Thanks
Completely agree re flat head screws, they're absolutely useless & if there's ever a problem getting a screw back out in the future it's 99.9% of the time because it's not a Phillips. Hate the things & always use my own when buying something that comes with its own fixings.
Yep
Van build is looking sweet mate👌
Cheers mate
My worse fear is my camper getting crashed into, or tipping over on a round about (I have a little Bedford Bambi so feels like that’s not impossible) with my used and un emptied toilet in the back…
PMSL a banging shit!!! Love these videos mate, any chance u could make them longer?
Cheers Chris
Looking good great job installing the toilet😂
Cheers
Steel toed safety crocs ...works for me ;)
😂
What’s the plan for a hot shower then? A popup stall with a portable propane heater? I have a propane tank hooked up to a portable heater for use in the front yard (I don’t have a van lol). But I plan to use it for my race weekends when I take my race car to track and camp out there.
Yea I may put an on demand shower out the back
Safety crocs. 😆 It's looking amazing so far, you're doing a great job! Also how's the new babe and your wife doing, hope they are hale and healthy. 🙂
They are both doing very well. I post more regular clips and photos of family life on Instagram if you don’t follow me on there already @lovesundays84
@@LoveSundays Great, I will! 🙂
I probably would have used two door bolts instead of hooks for the toilet door, but good job :)
ahah the workout of moving the toilet when its full, I feel that 😅
😂
👍🏼👍🏼another good video
Thanks
Cheers Ricky
Wow you just said what I just put down
Glad you did that cutout at the edge of the mattress or you would be trapping your baubles 😀😀🙈
😂
Ha ha 😂 Safety Crocs are ace 👍👍 I’m about the same stage as you with a Renault Master , maybe a few days ahead , thing is , do it so it suits you , crack on Shaun 👍
Never ending isn’t it 😂
Another great video Shaun you will be able to dump in peace. I'm watching from the carpark in Porthleven as down your way seeing the family. (Usually Bunny Basher UK on my other channel)
Good to know what your name is Glyn rather than call you mate all the time. I’ll try and remember
Those “safety” crocks🐊 are really cool! I like how the sole looks extra thick & durable. But do they have reinforced steel tipped toes? 🤣🤣.
I’ve never seen those here in the United States. 🐊
BTW, hearing the sloshing of the cassette🚽 contents while you were moving it, reinforced why I’m going to have a composting one.
Luv Sundays! Bye!
They’re very safe because the bite back
@@LoveSundays That’s a funny!!! 🙃🙃
Were you not tempted to build a small shower/toilet 'room'? It would take space, but surely would be much, much nicer.
As I’ve mentioned in previous videos I had a shower once in a van and never used it. Overnight trips don’t need a shower and longer trips when you stop over in campsites they have showers
@@LoveSundays Interesting. It is obviously personal preference, but with your high level of skill (and enthusiasm!), I would be more ambitious than 'bucket under the bed'. I have a VW T4 campervan which would definitely benefit from an enclosed toilet unit. I take your point about campsites, but the great thng about campervans is the independence they give. Nowadays I only use my van once a year for a festival. If I used it more, I would go for a shower/toilet unit and regard that as a good use of space. After all, what else is the space really needed for, except somewhere to eat and sleep, though perhaps not at the same time... Keep the reports coming!
Loving the build- I actually passed you when you were broken down on the A30 - but didn’t know if was you - not that I could have helped lol- maybe see you around as I live in Redruth - compare notes as I’m converting a Sprinter at the moment
I’d love to see what you’ve done with your sprinter mate
@@LoveSundays no worries- I m sure we can catch/ meet somewhere
Loving the vids! I was wondering if the full length front panel will get in the way of your legs when you lift the actual loo lid? I have seen other toilet boxes where the top lid has a lip at the front to compensate.
It may do I’ll probably cut it back a bit after I’ve trailed it out a bit
hey shaun any thought od puttng the toilet on the other side , need the sliding door..?>
That random plane going across the screen at 5:00 must mean something 🤔
😂
Nice one
Cheers
Safety Crocs : )
Flat head screws are so old mate ..And as for the weight of that toilet 😂
Great video 👍
Yep
I’ll take my after your safety crocs my husband has a pair of those
Hi Shaun. Looking good mate. It almost looks like a second bedroom underneath your main bed mate, and you said you learn from your mistakes? There’s no such thing as a mistake it’s just a happy accident 😂 and I must admit I said to myself I can see shaun boxing that toilet in the thinking oh shite how will I get it out 😂😂 keep up the good work mate.
Thanks Jon
coming together, eh? flat head screws suck!!!! lol
Thanks Kevin
Tidy jobbie that! 😉
I'm with you on the flatties too.. just, WHY!?
😂
Have you thought about a pull out table above the door to the garage.
Yes I’m putting a table exactly there I will router out the opening for it when I install it
That was banging 😉
😂
cracking jobby mate sorry I meant job ..lol
Lol
Love the video ok enjoy your shit lol till next wk mate Jacky, the old lady from Montreal
Thanks Jacky
I’m very curious what it’s like having a toilet so close to your cooking and sleeping space. ‘Smelly’ springs to mind. Good for emergencies but not for regular use. How is it IRL?
It contains the smell pretty well
Shaun, you have left to much lip on the front of the toilet hage..
Yea I’m probably going to trim it back
Looks good. Just wondering why you used hooks rather that a bolt lock?
I chose them to keep it nice and square but if it doesn’t do the job I’ll change it
