I feel like this game is more immersive as Luke's expressions are WAAAY more expressed here than his previous walkthroughs I F-ING LOVE IT!!
It’s on the same level as cod WW2 was for him, love watching him play ww2 era cuz it’s gritty and you get to see his reactions as well as the stories sledgehammer produces are genuinely impressive
SoI thought the Character "Lewis Howard" had a familiar voice. He played "Howard Cormack" (Before the name was changed, and he's also referenced as a "brother fighting in Europe") in COD WW2 as well as Cormack in Advanced Warfare
His brother is Marcus Howard
Also Misha Petrov is played by Mark Ivanir who voiced Belikov in Cold War

Inverted plane controls makes sense, I got used to it in the old battlefields and now it doesn’t feel right to do it otherwise

The thing that I think makes this games story feels above and beyond from other ww2 game stories is how interconnective they make all the fronts
It may be a fable, but it uses its fictional premise to explore a lot of the unique aspects of ww2, its a global war, you'd be hard pressed to find a country not involved in even a small way, its about time we've gotten out of France and explored more
Indeed. I absolutely agree. I'm so glad that we also got to see the other side of D-day for once. Most games just take the beach landing while there was more than just that to the mission.

I get what you’re saying but this really is like any other WW game, still the same front and same stories but it’s not difficult to improve from what they did previously, still enjoyed it though, but I can’t deny that I was once again disappointed a little bit
Also world at war after all these years still isn’t beat at story, immersion and accuracy
Not necessary a "super soldier", it's more like the characters have their own skills.
African Brit = leadership (point out orders)
Yankee pilot = spatial awareness
Russian sniper = lure
Aussy hotheat = demolitions expert, explosives
The sniper girl Polina can also crouch-walk through tight spaces like air vents and under desks really quickly. She can also climb up bricks. She’s good for a hit and run/shoot and move play style.
But how does Wade get aimbot

I'm so glad they gave my Bois in the us navy some representation. Let alone, partaking in Midway which is a significant battle in the us navys history. The navy is ignored alot in games.

Fun fact: The guy with the flamethrower, Lewis Howard, is played by the same voice actor who played the character Sgt. Howard in CoD WWII. Lewis mentions he has a brother fighting in Europe. Neat little Easter egg.

Wade is based on Richard H. Best who in real life was one of the only two people in history to get a hit on two carriers in one day unfortunately though during the battle of midway he got a bad oxygen mix in his oxygen tank and inhaled caustic soda so after the battle he was no longer allowed to fly
Edit: Best was the pilot that sunk the carrier “Akagi” the one that wade blew up in the cut scene

I agree that Wade’s ability is a little too powerful. It’s already plenty that he can detect enemies and sure maybe the slow motion is okay but the aimbot was completely unnecessary because a player could manually lock onto enemies on their own given the slowed time.

Original human the reason you keep missing is because you need to hold steady like handing a gun you can't keep swinging the gun left and right constantly wildly aiming at a single target less than 1/4 the shot will hit if any you have to hold steady and aim true over the target inspecially if you you are flying straight at the enemy as they do the same to you you aim carefully keep your target radical over the enemy and hold the trigger until he dead, your dead, he moves out of the way of your shot or your moments away from crashing into each other

Great playthrough OriginalHuman! I was a big fan of this game until I saw: STG 44s with drum mags/MG42s being used by Japanese infantry and no banzai charge voicelines from the Japanese. I think World at War did the Pacific war theatre better.

Wade Jackson's part was the most Forgettable tbh on maps like Numa Numa but World at War was in COD 4🤣

It definitely isn’t the same person. Spoiler, as shown in the video this guy gets his head blown off so there is no possible way this can be before that. Also it can’t be the same person because this is the counter attack to Pearl Harbor so the American would just be entering the war, making it impossible to be the same person

During midway, the imperial fleet commander had the carrier crew switch the ordinance to attack the American fleet nearby ( their original mission was to bomb the ground base on midway). All of the bombs were stacked in the open haphazardly due to the quick decision/turnaround. A single bomb hit the loading hanger and crippled the ship. Japan lost its best fleet that day

You don't have to use wades ability. I never did. It's just there. I'm sure some people like it but it really doesn't add or take anything away from the game. Idk if I'd call it unnecessary

The only question this campaign leaves out is who the fuck is Novak and way he was on the team
I mean all the other members are bad ass's to some degree in there own right with a story to tell which is the reason there there even the one character that you never get to play that on the team has a story told though Arthur's story and the operators in multi-player have some sense of a story even if they never show up in the main story but Novak is not a available operator either the only things we know of Novak based purely on the mission you play as him is he a quiet guy because he don't talk much if at all and he know how to pick locks and possibly pretty good at it to and he skilled enough to be considered a commando

Am I the only one bothered by there being German weapons (STG44) in the Pacific battles…?
Well the countries were allied in the war so its easy enough just to ship weapons and its fiction mate it means not real like the zombies we see😂
Though the STG wasn't sent to the Pacific the Germans gave Japan these weapons
MP-28s, MP-34s , MP40s , MG-34s - 42s , Mauser K98s, Mauser C96s and P-38s a few more guns I forgot but for vehicles they gave out many planes , jets , tanks and naval vessels like at least 6 subs and 2 destroyers , a few Panzer 3 , 1 Panzer V (Panther), 1 Panzer VI (Tiger) tanks and the JU-88 , Fw190A , BF109E , Arado-196 , and a few other planes that weren't stated in reports.
But if you wanted to more technical they sent more parts for the vehicles instead of the vehicles so the Japanese can build there own variants or use the guns for testing , more of these parts were used on Planes hence the creation of the Ki-61 Hei , Ki-43 Otsu , and the infamous Kikka and Ki-200. How the Japanese made these trades was difficult they had to send submarines to southern Africa and near Madagascar without being caught and quickly grab and give what they can or the method was to meet up between the Indian ocean to trade but that was more dangerous due to the Royal navy's presence and tropical storms.
