You've probably already figured this stuff out, but power level isnt from birth. Once the gates started appearing people began awakening. The scene where hes carrying a bag at a construction site and drops it was the moment he had his awakening, it just happened to be very weak. Power levels are determined by the amount of magic energy, and whatever you happen to get, you're normally stuck with. Aside from rare second awakenings there is no getting stronger.
Thats also why a spider is stronger than a golem and snake, just happens to have more magical energy, appearance doesnt really mean much.
Also you might be wondering why paralysis and drain caused them to start bleeding everywhere, the dagger's ability is actually paralysis and _bleed,_ the effect is the same - they lose 1% hp per second, but they changed the name for some reason, maybe to make it less confusing for non-gamers.
Also I prefer the alternate subtitles to these ones, where instead of saying that he's always leveling up, it was translated as "I've been leveling up the entire time" which kind of implied he was leveling up _as_ he killed them. I thought that was more powerful personally.
Oh wow, that line hits much harder I agree. He definitely was leveling up as he killed them...

well.. in this episode he would be either Top B or Lower A... but overall yes.. there isnt enough "S´s" to quantify Drip Woo :D
