As we study, we learn why Judas was chosen for this role, what the other disciples thought of the situation, and how this evil act would eventually lead to the most significant event in the history of the world.

Oh Brett, you can one more thing as many times as you can find reason to because those connections between old and new testament really bring everything into clearer focus. It's so cool how God has written beforehand the history of mankind and every person has their part to fill in real-time. His story is being played out exactly as He said it would and He's using us to bring it about. When it says that we are His workmanship you can read that as His masterpiece. I visualize a HUGE mosaic where the largest picture is God himself and each person's history is a picture within that picture. When the whole picture is filled in by each and every person God permits to be, filling in their part of the larger picture, then Jesus will show us God, the overall picture. In the fullness of time. I can't hardly wait.

IMO, when it comes to mans freewill, God's pre knowledge doesn't equal predetermination of our decisions. God blessed us with freewill, He just already knows what we're going to choose to do with it.
