Yes fear can destroy a lot of people's life but so can confusion and deception so just remember to try the spirits if they don't confess that Jesus Christ is Lord or that Jesus Christ is coming the flesh rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ just sharing my spiritual warfare experiences
I think He wept at their lack of faith in that moment. He also wept for Jerusalem and said how He wanted to gather them like a Hen gathers her chicks, but they were unwilling. Rather than them celebrating that He came and could raise Laserus from the dead, they were upset because He didn't make it in time.
