I have read the Bible from cover to cover about 30 times. Every time I read it I find things I never seen before. It is alive, it is the word of God and we will never know the full wisdom contained within. I just finished it again two days ago and now I am back in Genesis.

I concur that we will be blown away, to the point of fainting when we meet up face to face with the living God. I am ready, as in being saved (having put my trust in the Person and work of Jesus of the Bible), and know that I will not stand in my own righteousness before Him, but I will be clothed in the atoning blood of Jesus Christ Who died in my place on the cross, and He will be my Advocate and Mediator. I was on Patmos a few years ago and will never forget the experience. I sat in that church cave for a week listening to Revelation as a fairly new Christian. We are so blessed to be living in the days where we can see those things John saw being set up in our time. God is so good to let us know the end from the beginning. Praise Jesus 🙏

I’ve had a hard time getting back into God’s word. I’ve got a date with Him tomorrow, 7 am. I’ll read the first chapter of John then copy it into a journal until I’ve copied the entire thing or Jesus calls us home. Sound tedious? Think of it as focused and meditative. There are yt vids of people who have copied the entire Bible!!

Hi! I don't generally listen to you, but the title that included Patmos caught my eye. Very beautiful scenery, and a very interesting message. I agree with your friend, Brett. We should read the Bible from cover to cover. Which is exactly what I did this past winter into spring. It took me about two and a half months, but then, I am retired and have more time on my hands at that time of year. Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy were tedious, but I read them. The Book of Daniel was my favorite of the Old Testament. It only took me about 3 weeks to get through the New Testament, but I'll tell you what, everything made so much more sense to me since I had read the Old Testament first. I didn't skip around, I read the Bible straight through. And I was overwhelmed with all of the love that I found in the New Testament. So I also recommend reading your Bible from cover to cover, without skipping around. It will definitely be worth it. I'm 65 years old and really wish that I had done this a long time ago. I would lean toward this viewpoint too. Isaiah 17, and Jeremiah 49 (Judgment on Elam) are among others alongside Psalm 83 that could also happen prior to (and set up for) Ezekiel 38-39.
I totally agree. Israel can't get to Ezekiel 38-39 until they are living in peace in unwalled villages. Bill Salus says that Israel will win this war and take control of the territory. Tear down their gates and walls. God will fight for Israel. Their weapins will malfunctiin. Then the six million Jews in America will return to Israel with their wealth . Israel will also destoy Elam where the nukes are being made. I believe America administration is protecting Iran from Israel . Pretending to be on their side . Then the rapture might trigger this return. Trump in the white house God could use him to help the Jews return to Israel. They return from the four corners of the earth. The big X over America 2 solar eclispes centered over Ilinois in an area called little Egypt. Egypt was a safe haven for the Jews till Moses lead them to the promised land . America has been a safe haven for the Jews till now . Is God calling them back to the promised Land.
Yep I say the same but in between these two wars is Isaiah17 the destruction overnight of Damascus (sounds like a nuke) then Eze 38-39 followed by Jeremiah 49 and the big one Armageddon !
I'm with you on that. However, I believe that Psalm 83 is not a "stand alone" event that happened in 1948 or at any other time. I believe it BEGAN happening in 1948 and is continuing to happen to Israel to this day! I believe the next incident to happen will probably be Isaiah 17, or possibly Ezekiel 28 (Sidon) followed by Ezekiel 38, 39.

Building on my agreement with your viewpoint re Ps. 83: Prophecy to the Jewish mind (vs. our Greek/western mindset) is that "prophecy = pattern (leading to final fulfillment)", whereas we (through our Greek/western mindset lens) tend to just view it as "prophecy = final fulfillment". The Jewish mind sees value in the patterns and models (even before the final full fulfillment). We see that in Scripture (such as various models for the Messiah, Jesus, like Adam, Joseph, Moses, David, etc.) and historically (like the abomination of desolation under Antiochus IV being utilized as the historical pattern with which Jesus tells His disciples to watch for the (future) Abomination). In a similar vein of thought, 1948 War of Independence could be a "pattern" of the coming ultimate fulfillment of Psalm 83. On a further side note: There is an idea in sociology that is interesting to consider in light of these events developing, Generational Theory/The Turnings (like the 4th Turning). To be brief, looking back on human generations, cultures/nations tend to undergo generational cycles that lead to a massive Generational Crisis war (that shakes the foundations of the involved peoples/nations) around every 80 to 120 years. For example, in America, we've had the American Revolution (1770s/1780s), the Civil War (1860s), WWII (1940s), and potentially now (2020s). For Israel (and the surrounding Arabs), the 1948 War of Independence could be regarded as the last Generational Crisis War, which makes the 2020s primed for another such historically pivotal conflagration. Even for Russia, the last Generational Crisis War was WWII (or their Great Patriotic War), making the 2020s prime for another Generational Crisis War there. The same also goes for China, whose last Generational Crisis War was the Chinese Civil War (combined with their "Great Anti-Fascist War" aka WWII) of the 1930s and 1940s. The 2020s would also be prime time for another Generational Crisis War in this area (Taiwan?). While still a somewhat dirty way to categorize the trends of generational experiences in cultures/nations/kingdoms, it does lend some insight into viewing today's convergence of trends (especially prophetically). God does use the natural processes in our world to advance His goals, too (such as the "birth pangs/pains", "nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom", etc., in the Olivet Discourse). As was alluded to at the end of the video (and by other reputable Bible teachers), Revelation is like an encrypted message with answers in every corner of the Bible. A proper study of Revelation is so rewarding because it forces you to look throughout the "whole counsel of God" in order to properly understand how God climaxes His plan of redemption. A lot of the "mysteriousness" of Revelation is blown away through many of the clues, allusions, and prophecies you (and others) pointed out in the "Old Testament" (my practice in my book Bibles is to rip out the page between the "Old" and "New" Testaments because it is one unified message). The rest of the "mysteriousness" will be revealed more and more as the time of the end and the generation God ordains to see these things come to pass approaches (Daniel 12, one lesser-known sign of the end is the "increase in knowledge", not just general knowledge, but knowledge of God's prophetic word that was "sealed" at the time of Daniel and is increasingly being revealed in our time more rapidly than at any other time prior).

Years ago right at the start of Revelation in my Bible l wrote, “This book brings a special blessing.” l just read it as l opened my Bible and have long forgotten what pastor is was. But just today Pastor Brett, you mentioned when we read the book of Revelation, that we will be blessed! Amen! So amazing to watch about your time in Patmos!
All these prophecy updates are great, but this one is really the best and yes, please adopt him into the service once in a while for true update for how to walk together unless they agree and I think most of us do feel like we’re standing alone even though we’re standing with God, and God has a sin his handour earthly brotherhood is so questionable thank you Pastor Brett, and Athey Church altogether
Wow.. what a great gathering in Patmos.. Thank you very much. Our favorite Bible story is about Jesus getting His Bride. He gets His second Bride first Because the first Bride was adulteress and idolatrous with a golden calf on the 9th of Av. . . Exodus 24. . . Our LORDs fulfillment of this day is most likely when the 8th of turns into the 9th of Av @ Twilight.
I really pray everyone starts to really read it !! The more I learn there are believers that simply don’t read it or understand the context of each verse and book. There’s soo much there people skip over that’s important MT Hermon is so fascinating and Paul’s history. Jesus told us everything we need to know changed my life when I actually began to read and study it.
I enjoy prophecy updates and am thankful that Athey Creek sets time aside for this! I do wish the coverage were less on US politics, which are only indirectly tied to end times, and more focused on updates regarding the ministry worldwide, and other signs of the times.
Maybe he’s talking about people who believe they are followers of Christ Jesus, but really are not. At our Church, we are strongly encouraged to ready and daily study the whole Bible. From January through December, we read from cover to cover. We overwhelmingly support Israel. We do believe Israel should put their faith and trust in Jesus and HE will deliver them. This reminds me of Hosea 4:6 ("My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.") and Amos 8:11-12 (“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it."). As more of the visible "Church" begins to forsake the preaching and teaching of the Word, people's hunger for the truth will drive them to the increasingly-rare congregations/fellowships that still remain faithful to that calling (like Athey Creek and others)...or will drive them to deception (what masquerades as "truth"). All of which still fulfills God's prophetic word, whether we realize it or not.
I cannot understand preterism. HOW can you not see prophecy EVRYWHERE. I would say anyone who disregards future Bible prophecy and a coming kingdom; you'd have to be living under a stone not to see what is transpiring today.

I wanted to share what I've been studying lately and my mind is blown by how much this seems to match up. I know it's speculation but I think it's plausible. I've been doing a lot of study and thinking lately and I think I've found a possible timeline that makes the most sense in my mind I'd love to get your thoughts on it. -Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, and prophesy of Elam, Jeremiah 49:35 -Rapture? -Ezekiel 38-39 -Antichrist, red heifer, third temple Turkey recently called for an invasion of Israel due to recent events. If Turkey gets involved with the events in the next couple days, I think that will all but confirm we are living Psalm 83. I think Iran, Hezbollah, and all these nations will come against Israel like they say is coming in the next 72 hours. God steps in and protects Israel. Most of these nations end up crippled in addition to Damascus being destroyed. When God steps in to protect israel, "they come down we go up", He removes us. During the chaos of the rapture and nations crippling, Russia will be forced to help Iran as Ezekiel states. God steps in again to stop it. Antichrist steps up now that hand of restraint is removed with the peace covenant, and allows Israel to sacrifice the red heifer and build the temple.
I was reading the Knew Testament and God lead me back to the Old Testament. Has I got going through it around mid way or alittle farther. When I was reading as I read it . I could picture today in those times how things are going. That right now we have a chance to change things only for a little while but we can. Like he said in the next 20 years things will change. The knew generation the college kids. The way they are so much haters for Israel. I don’t know I’ve just finished the Old and have started the New again. It’s like what I see bad in the Old Testament like we’re doing and going through. Just starting the New Testament I seem to start finding Hope. Even if only for a little while. Ever time God has saved the world or Israel it seems in the Old Testament you find after 20 to 40 years we or they started falling off again. Like we do today. We find ourselfs falling away from God and his plan and start doing bye our way that always fells.
If I understand correctly, the zDruze have a very rare blood. They have ancient, disciplined traditions that they have kept to very strictly. And they live such a kosher livre. A lot of similarity with kosher Jews.

I'm with you on that. However, I believe that Psalm 83 is not a "stand alone" event that happened in 1948 or at any other time. I believe it BEGAN happening in 1948 and is continuing to happen to Israel to this day! I believe the next incident to happen will probably be Isaiah 17, or possibly Ezekiel 28 (Sidon) followed by Ezekiel 38, 39.

Building on my agreement with your viewpoint re Ps. 83: Prophecy to the Jewish mind (vs. our Greek/western mindset) is that "prophecy = pattern (leading to final fulfillment)", whereas we (through our Greek/western mindset lens) tend to just view it as "prophecy = final fulfillment". The Jewish mind sees value in the patterns and models (even before the final full fulfillment). We see that in Scripture (such as various models for the Messiah, Jesus, like Adam, Joseph, Moses, David, etc.) and historically (like the abomination of desolation under Antiochus IV being utilized as the historical pattern with which Jesus tells His disciples to watch for the (future) Abomination). In a similar vein of thought, 1948 War of Independence could be a "pattern" of the coming ultimate fulfillment of Psalm 83.
On a further side note: There is an idea in sociology that is interesting to consider in light of these events developing, Generational Theory/The Turnings (like the 4th Turning). To be brief, looking back on human generations, cultures/nations tend to undergo generational cycles that lead to a massive Generational Crisis war (that shakes the foundations of the involved peoples/nations) around every 80 to 120 years. For example, in America, we've had the American Revolution (1770s/1780s), the Civil War (1860s), WWII (1940s), and potentially now (2020s). For Israel (and the surrounding Arabs), the 1948 War of Independence could be regarded as the last Generational Crisis War, which makes the 2020s primed for another such historically pivotal conflagration. Even for Russia, the last Generational Crisis War was WWII (or their Great Patriotic War), making the 2020s prime for another Generational Crisis War there. The same also goes for China, whose last Generational Crisis War was the Chinese Civil War (combined with their "Great Anti-Fascist War" aka WWII) of the 1930s and 1940s. The 2020s would also be prime time for another Generational Crisis War in this area (Taiwan?). While still a somewhat dirty way to categorize the trends of generational experiences in cultures/nations/kingdoms, it does lend some insight into viewing today's convergence of trends (especially prophetically). God does use the natural processes in our world to advance His goals, too (such as the "birth pangs/pains", "nation against nation and kingdom against kingdom", etc., in the Olivet Discourse).
As was alluded to at the end of the video (and by other reputable Bible teachers), Revelation is like an encrypted message with answers in every corner of the Bible. A proper study of Revelation is so rewarding because it forces you to look throughout the "whole counsel of God" in order to properly understand how God climaxes His plan of redemption. A lot of the "mysteriousness" of Revelation is blown away through many of the clues, allusions, and prophecies you (and others) pointed out in the "Old Testament" (my practice in my book Bibles is to rip out the page between the "Old" and "New" Testaments because it is one unified message). The rest of the "mysteriousness" will be revealed more and more as the time of the end and the generation God ordains to see these things come to pass approaches (Daniel 12, one lesser-known sign of the end is the "increase in knowledge", not just general knowledge, but knowledge of God's prophetic word that was "sealed" at the time of Daniel and is increasingly being revealed in our time more rapidly than at any other time prior).

Maybe he’s talking about people who believe they are followers of Christ Jesus, but really are not. At our Church, we are strongly encouraged to ready and daily study the whole Bible. From January through December, we read from cover to cover. We overwhelmingly support Israel. We do believe Israel should put their faith and trust in Jesus and HE will deliver them. This reminds me of Hosea 4:6 ("My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being priest for Me; Because you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.") and Amos 8:11-12 (“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord God, “That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the Lord. They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the Lord, But shall not find it.").
As more of the visible "Church" begins to forsake the preaching and teaching of the Word, people's hunger for the truth will drive them to the increasingly-rare congregations/fellowships that still remain faithful to that calling (like Athey Creek and others)...or will drive them to deception (what masquerades as "truth"). All of which still fulfills God's prophetic word, whether we realize it or not.

I wanted to share what I've been studying lately and my mind is blown by how much this seems to match up. I know it's speculation but I think it's plausible.
I've been doing a lot of study and thinking lately and I think I've found a possible timeline that makes the most sense in my mind I'd love to get your thoughts on it.
-Psalm 83, Isaiah 17, and prophesy of Elam, Jeremiah 49:35
-Rapture?
-Ezekiel 38-39
-Antichrist, red heifer, third temple
Turkey recently called for an invasion of Israel due to recent events. If Turkey gets involved with the events in the next couple days, I think that will all but confirm we are living Psalm 83.
I think Iran, Hezbollah, and all these nations will come against Israel like they say is coming in the next 72 hours. God steps in and protects Israel. Most of these nations end up crippled in addition to Damascus being destroyed.
When God steps in to protect israel, "they come down we go up", He removes us.
During the chaos of the rapture and nations crippling, Russia will be forced to help Iran as Ezekiel states. God steps in again to stop it.
Antichrist steps up now that hand of restraint is removed with the peace covenant, and allows Israel to sacrifice the red heifer and build the temple.

I was reading the Knew Testament and God lead me back to the Old Testament. Has I got going through it around mid way or alittle farther. When I was reading as I read it . I could picture today in those times how things are going. That right now we have a chance to change things only for a little while but we can. Like he said in the next 20 years things will change. The knew generation the college kids. The way they are so much haters for Israel. I don’t know I’ve just finished the Old and have started the New again. It’s like what I see bad in the Old Testament like we’re doing and going through. Just starting the New Testament I seem to start finding Hope. Even if only for a little while. Ever time God has saved the world or Israel it seems in the Old Testament you find after 20 to 40 years we or they started falling off again. Like we do today. We find ourselfs falling away from God and his plan and start doing bye our way that always fells.

If I understand correctly, the zDruze have a very rare blood. They have ancient, disciplined traditions that they have kept to very strictly. And they live such a kosher livre. A lot of similarity with kosher Jews.
