Oh my heart Brett! June 18, 1989, I began my 10 years serving by parking cars and to this day, at age 83, I cherish each and every second serving! I’ll be a “door deacon/elder” in Heaven! 👌💒👑🙏❤️❤️❤️. As a born/schooled SDA, every 13th week (by age 18?) we did communion/foot washing--and a few times at ACF. Never remember a time I didn’t weep. Humble yourself before our Lord! 👑🙏💒❤️❤️❤️

If you are truly born again, you cannot lose your salvation. People who were Jesus as an ornament will never see the light until they get out of the way.

I agree. One of the few things I don’t align with my pastor about but I totally understand why he lands where he lands on it.
And I am also totally open to the possibility that I don’t understand it correctly. But what I see in the Bible when it comes to salvation is that the change that happens to a person is supernatural, eternal and 100% complete. A person passes from death to life and becomes a new creature now and forever sealed up in the grace of Christ.
What I’m saying is I think in our human practicality we frame the question wrong. It isn’t, “can a person lose/leave their salvation?”, but rather, “what is the nature and purpose of salvation?”. Which is a topic far too complex and weighty for a CZcams comments section, but in the interest of edification at the end of the day I believe the Bible teaches that once a person is born again, the are sealed by the Holy Spirit forever and WILL go to heaven. And if that person walks away from the faith, God will correct them. If a person refuses to be corrected and walk in the faith they will lose heavenly reward and ultimately God reserves the right to take them home prematurely. And however a person’s walk goes, God knew before they ever became a believer how it would go.
And therein lies the rub: according to what the Bible teaches about the nature and purpose of salvation, why would an infinite, omnipotent, omniscient God “re-birth” a person spiritually and seal them for heaven when He knows that person will leave their salvation and lose heaven?
      God bless

Pastor Brett brings up the subject of suicide as it pertains to a person's eternal destination, whether the act is forgiven or not. Where I land on the issue is... I don't know... It's an issue I give deep reverence to Christ for....If I were to take a stab at the issue, I'd say that each and every human bares the image of God, and is therefore deeply precious. Though we are not gods, the very core of our value as human beings is rooted in God himself. Our bodies do not belong to us, and therefore we do not have the right to destroy these bodies, nor the bodies of others (self-defense and capital punishment being the exceptions, and even then it's a weighty consideration). Every human body, spirit, and soul are *deeply* precious to God, so suicide is definitely something to be fought against, if a person struggles in that area. Nevertheless, people do succumb to that act, so we put our hope in a merciful and gracious God - that he would pardon even that sin after that person has died. Years ago I might have considered suicide an option. That's been completely settled in my life with Christ in the picture. And now, I subject myself to the only One who has the authority to destroy this body how and when He sees fit.

Definately agree ref:suicide not being unpardonable sin . anyway iv had a couple of really close friends commit suicide, their problem stemmed from using hard narcotics then suddenly stop using. They experienced severe depression and they were very lonely . They didnt know God but we prayed with them and tried leading them however its between them and God .

John 6:36-40. Jesus'*own* words - the caveat is that G-d the Father puts one into His Hand. However, Jesus tells Nicodemus that he has to be born of the Spirit - born again - and that is a *choice!* One, imo, can be 'predestined' for salvation, as Scripture tells us, in 1 Peter, that G-d the Father is *not* willing that any should perish, but that He does not interfere with free will - personal choice - though He will use His Spirit to keep knocking on the door of one's heart until their final breath - one's uttermost. That one needs to believe in their heart and confess with their mouth, or some way, that Jesus is Lord!
Before the Great White Throne, for those who know *now* of the Gospel, they will acknowledge Jesus is Lord, but that will be too late (Romans 1, Revelation 21)
When Scripture tells us that *now* is the hour of one's salvation, it isn't just whistling Dixie! That *now* can end right as this is read by you!
Repent (turn away from your rebellion against G-d the Father - *sin!),* and call on the Name of Jesus, the Redeemer, Saviour and Lord, to be saved! From what? The righteous wrath of G-d the Father against sin, *which resides unrestricted in you, reader,* which will come! Give Him your pitiful lives, no matter what you conceive 'success' to be, an follow Him! And that is just the start. Read, or watch, 'The Pilgrim's Progress'. And listen to the likes of Ps. Brett - do not get tangled in religious systems, either!
You know what to do, no excuses!

In Egypt at the time of Moses, the Hebrews were not yet 'the Jews' (they were Israelites, because of Jacob's name change) and, *unless one is born in the land of Judah, modern Israelites are not Jews, either.* But those born in the modern part of the West Bank, *which is Judah, ARE.* Ironic, ain't it? (Nit-picky Chris😏)
