My Polish friends! There appears to be many of you, and I do not hold you responsible for anything that happened here today.
Thank you, our cinema doesn't deserve this!
Much appreciated 😅🙌🏻
Thank you, we appreciate. Dziękujemy

IDK about porn, but Hentai definitely has better plots than this.
The only reason this isn’t a horror movie is because the guy isn’t ugly
This!! Yes, exactly what I was thinking
EXACTLY if he was everyone would hate the movie
Get out and US were horror movies and the guys were good looking.
The sad fact is this guy is known for saying the N word on social media and bodyshaming so trust me hes a perfect horror in real life
Exactly. The folks who swoon over storylines like this would not if the guy unattractive or even just average looking.
Loraine Kat who even is this guy? I’ve never heard of him before.
The fact that this was written by a woman and not a horny teenager on Wattpad is the biggest shock
True
When they grow up physically but not mentally, this happens
I mean instead of writing hot trash she could go to a therapist
stuff like this and 50 shades always comes to mind, when someone says things like:
"Men should stop writing female characters, they simply can't portray women properly!"
Same happened with Twilight, though🤷♀️
Masimo: "I'm giving you 365 days to fall in love with me."
Translation: "I'm giving you 365 days to develop Stockholm Syndrome. Good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor."
What's worsee it was like 10 days and she's like Ok I'll sleep with you. Really? And what happened to her phone and laptop? She had it in one scene and then in the other one she's being dragged onto the plane and strapped in. Huh?
And my mother argued with me that it was romantic.
I actually had to try and explain that it was kidnapping and like Stockholm syndrome.
I had to argue that kidnapping is not romantic. With my mother.
What. The. Fuck.
I hate movies like this. They make people think they'll fall in love in horrible situations.
If he wasn't attractive... it would be horror not "romance".
You're more mature than your mom
yes, i agree.
Well, in the old days those things were portrayed as "romantic." So, it was quite brainwashing even in old movies.
My moms a twilight fan and doesn’t understand why I don’t like a movie where the love interest breaks into the protagonist’s room to watch her sleep that portrays itself as a romance
The fact that your mother thinks kidnapping someone is romantic 😳
If the guy was poor and conventionally unattractive, and kidnapped girls and took them to his trailer park, 365 would be a horror movie.
Couldn't have said it better myself
This is just so toxic. And people are complaining about toxic male behaviors, but this gets a pass and is called romantic? Really? Also doubly odd that these are written by women but male authors are complained about by not writing women correctly.
@@RoseBaggins Amanda Pizzolatto Makes me think of the _cool girl_ trope ,this woman thinks that because she is a woman she can't be misogynistic, when in fact she wrote a character who is wrong in so many ways and because she failed at condemning his behavior she romanticed it.

Literally after hearing about this movie I started thinking of Christian as a tame, innocent guy. Roberto stubble over here made me forget that Christian Grey was also crazy and abusive.
To quote Alex Meyers: "This movie (365 days) makes Christian Grey look like a Disney prince."
The definition of “mama I’m in love with a criminal”
As an Italian this movie is so offensive...
- The portrayal of Sicily;
- The typically American portrayal of the Mafia (which, I would like to remind people, kills innocents, including a very high number of children);
- The portrayal of Italian people;
- The lack of every aspect of Italian culture in a movie SET IN ITALY
- The portrayal of the Mafia, I CAN'T STRESS THIS ENOUGH, DON'T ROMANTICIZE IT??? WHAT THE FUCK?
Edit: Y'ALL!!! I KNOW THIS MOVIE IS POLISH! I MEANT THAT THE WAY THE MAFIA IS PORTRAYED IS IN TYPICAL AMERICAN FASHION, STOP COMMENTING THAT THIS ISN'T AN AMERICAN PRODUCTION, I NEVER SAID IT
Also in the second book, there's a rival mafia leader who kidnaps Laura (she also falls in love with him, because of course she does) and his name is fucking NACHO.

Netflix and their never-ending quest to try to make stalking sexy.
Also their never ending quest for setting the bar lower and lower every year.
To be fair, they didn't start the market for that; Twilight and Fifty Shades started that, and I'm sure there have been plenty of movies and TV shows that in some way have portrayed stalking, obsession and abusive behavior as romantic

The worst thing about this movie is the “are you lost, baby girl,” because I call my partner that (not in a sexualized manner) along with other nicknames like “baby” or “honey”. Later I asked her if it made her feel uncomfortable (because I felt uncomfortable when he called the girl that), and thankfully she said no and that she liked it.
I think it stems more from the dude being a complete stranger and calling a random girl “baby girl” while also trying to be sexy saying it. He made me feel like I was being sexually assaulted so that’s just great….
Someone delete me from existence, please.

I'll show myself out
As a someone raised in an abusive household I'm disgusted by how the media endorses this. I've witnessed my father beating my mother and forcing himself on her when I was 7. It fucked me up for life.
I'm a fan of horror movies but in horror the killer is meant to be a bad guy, they don't show him/her as someone who should be seen as attractive, these films never normalise his/her actions, it's meant to show how demented and vile people are.
The real craziness starts when a person is so crazy that they think this is normal. People who see this as a romantic film are crazy to me.
i absolutely could not handle the “are u lost bb girl” every time he said it
It’s funny because Christian Grey also has a stupid slogan that make me want to vomit. “Laters, baby”.

Can we stop making movies about fanfiction based on other movies based on fan fiction? All of which are just smut??
Bow Legged I absolutely despise that you’re right
But they're choosing the worst fanfics I mean I've read a LOT in my time, and there are some fantastic works I'd love to see actually getting a show or movie based off them, but THOSE are the ones they're choosing ???
There's nothing inherently wrong with fanfiction just... its like they're going on ao3 and narrowing the search by just "explicit" and "rape/non-con" and going with the first thing they find
Cheap to buy, cheap to make, give them more money, take take take.
Now I actually want someone to make a satire that is just _the most_ sexually violent movie, where the main female character is treated like absolute garbage and then murdered by the "love interest" in the end. You know, something designed specifically to be as uncomfortable as possible, even for the kinds of women who like things like 50 Shades, just so we can _hopefully_ get _some_ kind of proof that there is a line *_somewhere_* for society

The abrupt, confusing and tragic (?) ending, with little to no foreshadowing, is such a Polish trope. When I was a teen, every other Polish fanfiction had an ending like that. Don't worry, professionally published works have plenty of those too. Just look at "Metro" (a Polish musical that used to played at Broadway). There the main character gets run over by a subway train for no reason. Classic Polish storytelling.

Fathimath Saara so liking sexual assault, rape n sex trafficking is “having an opinion”? again, y’all need help. the movie romantizes ABUSE n RAPE. u know what that means? if u don’t, search it n educate urself.
Everyone needs therapy if you want to get technical. But for the record, there are all sorts of people with all sorts of kinks and yes this movie is pretty gross, imo. But others might be turned on by forced sexual situations. It’s perfectly healthy. Check with the therapist you want to push on strangers while judging them... the therapist will verify.
Having rape related kinks are not that uncommon tho
@@lilmeowmoew8542 Ok, but those are K I N K S: something you consent to, in this she's been kidnapped, nearly raped, put in mortal peril AND romanticizes gang members who deal drugs and murder. Having a rape-related kink would be she asks him to do this stuff to her
Example: if you have a foot fetish, you don't crawl in a person's window at night, tie them up and then have your way with their feet while they sleep, because that's illegal like EVERYTHING IN THIS MOVIE.
If you have a foot fetish, you ask your partner to do things for you or let you do things to them, as long as either party can tap-out and ask to stop. Perfectly legal, because it's a kink
Interesting fact about the author of the book: She claims, that she is a FEMINIST, but modern. She also said, that 15% of the story in the book is fiction, and the rest is true - It’s a combo of experiences of her, her friends and family. It is honestly worrying.
Says alot about feminists.
@@simonsays5193 No. Says a lot about her.
@@simonsays5193 The comment about her claiming she's a feminist is pointing out how ironic her statements are, because the things she writes seem to contradict what feminists stand for. A person can claim to be any number of things, while being far from it. A cruel person can say they are kind. A racist person can claim to be all for diversity! It doesn't mean their behavior matches what they claim to be. Your comment says a lot about your bias against feminists (which btw the movement at its core is about equality for women all over the world so i don't really know what you personally have against it but ok) but unfortunately the authors contradicting behavior as well as this person's initial comment do not stand to say much of anything about feminists as a whole, except to prove that any person can grossly misrepresent an entire movement/belief system. Just how looters undermine peaceful protests, some self-proclaimed feminists warp the message of what feminism should be but they do not make up the whole. It's sad that so many people vilify feminists when the definition of feminism is literally "the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes." It's not one sex versus the other, it's about equality for both. When equality exists in the world, feminism will no longer be necessary. And those who want to use the idea of feminism unjustly to sow discord will have to call themselves something else. If and when that happens, I hope you will recognize those individual people as the ones who are problematic.
she actually complains about feminism constantly and says that the feminists who criticise her book for gaslighting domestic abuse and sexual assaults haven't really done anything for women and that she is the real voice of XXI century female empowerment

Nope. Secret obsession guy is generally considered more attractive and yet that's not romanticized. It's how the movie is *directed, produced, and marketed*. AND PEOPLE SEE THAT IT'S UNHEALTHY AND WEIRD THAT'S WHY EVERYONE IS CALLING IT OUT
@@chocolatecharley99 you missed the point of my joke. Make Gray a typical hobo instant creep. Turn Jason or Mike Myers into Brad Pitt and the characters will suck his dick....
It's about perception.
Also the reason why these films, stories and series are popular is because of the largely ignorant populus, not everyone will see the problematic issues in such relationships.
I had a friend who was obsessed with gray from 50shades. So much so that she would go for those toxic and problematic guys. Although she herself was kinda toxic.
People grow up looking at these films in admiration that's why during the height of their popularity domestic violence cases rose.
To be fair, secret obssesion didn't have the guy as millionaire.
if they could just classify a movie with a hot guy as the villain A HORROR (LIKE THEY DO WITH US WOMEN & US LGBTQ+ FOLK) then maybe people (besides the ones who will fetishize it) will start to understand it’s NOT ONLY AN ABUSIVE HORRIBLE CRIME IF AN UGLY GUY COMMITS IT???? but nah, this shit will always goddamn be like this, because no one who’s been in an abusive relationship with a moderately attractive person makes a goddamn movie like this unless they haven’t been to therapy and still have their own bit of stockholm syndrome. sorry i said it but i’m giving myself permission to because i don’t write about my abuser with lusty romanticism the way i did when i was a straight teenager infuated

@@ihatemickiegee these words will undoubtedly mean nothing to you but I'm sorry for the horrors you endured.
Hollywood is blinded by the colour green. And with social media as reactionary as it is. Hollywood likes to see itself as a leader in standard setting when its simply chasing social media storms, whilst clinging to the old problematic ways.
My joke was a blatent reaction to this, which hides the dark truth.
I had a toxic friend who worshiped the 50shades films, watching them on repeat as her doors flew open with each new toxic person she invited into her room and bed. It didn't help that she only listened to the top three chart songs on repeat for hours on end, replacing it with the next chart topper.
She and many people like her have been suckered I to the ideals of media bullshit in lieu of a better way. It didn't help that we say a rise in domestic cases with the release and popularisation of twilight and 50shades.
So my joke goes deeper as a guy who simply looks average is instantly villianised and is the obvious monster of the film, whilst the handsome version charms and blood looks their way through the toxic and surface level dramas.
I can't deny that I am one in the countless that by participating am problematic to more complex situations and circumstances; I don't watch or like horror films because they are fundimentally all the same and nothing can beat the first saw, jeepers creepers, Jason, and Freddie.
As for the other samey bullshit I can enjoy the subsurface an surface level bullshit those media display.
As for myself well what does that matter?
Live with peace, I guess.
Is this a horror movie? How is it not a horror movie?
For everyone who knows even a little bit about bdsm this IS a horror movie
This garbage is far more horrifying than horror. Horror movies don't try to pass abuse off as "love" or romantic behavior.
Just edit it a bit differently
no its not horror movie. just horrible movie.
It is a male rape fantasy. So horror.
The fact that some 13 years olds use this movie as reference to their dream guy makes me wheeze
to those girls goodluck 🙄😂😂
"I'll never do anything without your consent" said the man currently keeping her against her will
This movie was like “let’s glorify Stockholm syndrome and put a romantic twist on it”
Just last week I watched a Stalinist era movie where the character was "lured" to West Berlin, the city was displayed as quiet solitude in the East, brawls in the West (literally as he crosses the zones) and the guy who went looking for him was beaten by American MPs and put in a concentration camp.

We don't know how this ends tho. She's been kidnapped again-- she may have been rescued -- at least i hope she was.
Idc about smut movies, but can we not promote movies like this where consent doesn't seem to matter at all and then people think it is ok to treat their partners like this in bed
Edit: to those who don't think I understand the concept of porn, I literally said at the top I don't care if it's just for smut and stuff like that. But when it comes to forcing a romantic relationship on someone, that's not healthy. And of course saying that they won't touch you but then doing it anyway. Consent always matters. You do not have to do ANYTHING you don't want to. I wish I had someone to tell me that shit.
Yea and some ppl might try to kidnapped their victims.
it literally promotes Stockholm syndrome
Ummm these were her sexual fantasies lol
Yea I don’t understand why all of these directors can’t make a movie that incorporates smut while also have the male lead NOT be a total psycho. This, fifty shades, after, are just a few examples of movies where the male lead is just toxic.
Exactly!
5:20 And then it fades to black and she just wakes up.
This is intentional, not just bad editing, you see, if we don't see our protagonist violently kidnapping this girl then we are more likely to sympathize with him later when he rapes her. Sorry for being so blunt but holy shit this move is diabolical.
So the morale of the story is:
Stop making smut fanfiction into movies xD
I mean, there are some good smut fics out there that I wouldn’t mind seeing as movies 😂 Trash like this, however, can stay off screen.

Damn that’s some lazy ass writing. Couldn’t the guy have just punched her in the face or something? TV and movies use a simple punch to knock someone out all the time. And it would work with the fact that he’s a gangster who threatens to rape her repeatedly throughout the movie.
I’m Mexican and, sadly, violence against women is a big problem here. This movie shouldn’t have been made. They aren’t helping. Btw have you seen all the tweets about wanting to get kidnapped by a Massimo? I just... I can’t.
Same here in India. It was no. 1 trending in India and that worried me so much since India already has a massive problem with crimes against women
Same in South Africa, it was trending no.1 and twitter had a whole debate because this movie isn't true reality and many women end up dying after these kidnappings.
It was number 1 in Brazil too. I'm scared. Right now it's number 2

This was one of the funniest reviews of 365 Days I’ve seen. Great job. Your face while describing certain parts of the movie was hilarious.
Loved this view and i did enjoy the film
You know what I would love? A movie exactly like this, but just before the plot kicks in they show the female love interest with a caring, supportive partner who deeply loves her.
Then this exact plot happens, but the entire time it repeatedly cuts away to her partner sailing across the country and taking down henchmen on their way to save their girlfriend/wife, meanwhile she is NOT falling in love with the creepy dude and continues to plot against him.
The climax of the movie is her and the love of her life kicking his ass and escaping to continue to live their happy future together. I'll direct it, write it, and shoot it myself if necessary just please no more lost baby gorls
Ohhh, and it's her woman. Because not every woman is straight MaSiMo!! Do you think I can help?

100x yes to your comment! 100%how I feel about this too
Unfortunately, the movie is not unrealistic in this regard, most women would indeed fall in love in this situation. It's gender psychology, women seek powerful, high status men, and are more than willing to be treated badly and humiliated, if need be. You can actually see it all around you. It's even a well known phrase, girls love bad boys.

"are you lost babygirl" is like THE most wattpad line to ever exist
I kind of want to see a story where it starts off as some stereotypical bad romance story like Fifty Shades of Gray or 365 days and they convince you it's just some bad erotica romantizing kidnapping and then in the middle of the book, it suddenly becames an entire thriller/horror book where the girl is trying to escape the toxic relationship.
That scene where he kills the guy for selling little girls abd says "you've hurted little girls" as if he didn't kidnap a girl and make her fall in love with him 💀
"BABY GORLS..."
yeah but they’re children and she isn’t so obviously it’s okay 🙄‼️
A lot of people think it’s okay to hurt and kill women. Men and children, no. But they don’t care about women. That’s a common belief, especially in America. Crimes against women largely go unsolved. If they are solved, they are covered up and no one is punished. There are a lot of murders that go uncharged because it’s cops killing their girlfriends and wives.

I'm Polish, and she actually got a LOT of backlash. Like, there was a whole thing where she got called out for writing the flight attendant getting raped and Lipińska (i hope i remembered her name lmao) went, oh, no, if it was REALLY rape, she'd have fought back, teehee, you know nothing about women. And then the weird conservatives picked it up like 'those weird feminists don't understand women' and it became an all out media shit storm back and forth over just that one scene...
@Maddy McLean I think it's bc a big outlet got a preview that only included the flight attendant scene? Something like that
I'm guessing it's because the assaults was only groping and threats rather than full on rape, unlike the attendant. Also when they finally had sex it was "consensual" , you know, as consensual as it could get in such a fucked situation... So the attendant was a stronger argument.
Yeah. They're on a plane, and he's a crime boss of some kind, and he could throw her off the plane and claim it was an accident, but she'd totally fight back.
So the Polish conservatives presumably think the Dennis Reynolds "because of the implication" scenario has nothing questionable about it whatsoever.
