There are sooooo many things that I want boomer to react to. I've been asking him to do 'shooting stars' for months now. For me it's one of the best and funniest shows we have/had. Vic and Bob are just absolutely hilarious. And let's not forget Georgy Doors! Played by Matt Lucas , who is the wife in this sketch. (I know that you know that, just saying for people who aren't familiar with it, ie boomer).
And he needs to see 'Never mind the buzzcocks' best bits aswell.
Boomer is flying through a lot of our shows at quite an impressive speed!. But he's only just scratched the surface. There are so many shows and comedians he is yet discover. It'll keep him busy for years! Haha.

The UK has a high divorce rate, although the number of divorces has reduced due to marriage becoming much less common.

The narration on Little Britain was often misleading, wildly inaccurate or complete bollocks! It's narrated by Tom Baker probably best known as the 4th Dr Who.

As someone who's been married for 24 years, I can only say these skits are way too relatable.
I wonder if you realized the "lady" in this is a funny male comedian. His face says it all. So great! The awkwardness is so palpable! Makeup on David was so good, I did not even recognize him.

I saw someone else suggest Friday night dinner and I totally agree with them such a good show up there with the inbetweeners for me and has Simon Bird in it (who plays will in inbetweeners)

For those that don't know, little britain is a sketch show, but it is basically set around village life. With this Happy Couple, the wife is played by Matt Lucas, and the husband is David Walliams, who is now not only an accomplished comedian/actor but also an author. Plus he is one of the judges on Britain's Got Talent.
If you can find the sketches their bubbles deVere and the ting tong characters are hilarious. This sketch was a poor introduction for you but please don't give up as there are hundreds that are so much funnier. Keep up the brilliant posts , you and Queen boomer are the mutts nuts !
Hi Brian, Don't laugh too much this could be you and Queen B in 20yrs time! As for recommendations the characters Lou & Andy (Wheelchair) in Little Britain are hilarious and Daffyd ' The only gay in the village' plated by Matt Lucas, Cheers Bud Jim, UK😂
As an American you need to check out little Britain USA aswell 😅perfect humour of the British perspective of America it’s hilarious.
Do more of these! We’ll never ever see that show again on our TV cause there’s so much racism and discrimination in their sketches that will absolutely go against the worlds views these days! When I was at school this show was the best!

1:25 There were multiple series and, I think the last, was more based in the US for some reason. Either they were releasing it on BBC America or they hoped to sell it over there.

The funniest sketch in my opinion is the "i want bitty' sketch. If you want to die laughing then this is for you. Queen Boomer would love it too!

Little Britain is awesome! They play various characters! You will love it! also react to Come Fly With Me they are half hour episodes, there were two series. Starring the two actors. By the way the actors are both male, David Williams and Matt Lucas. They can weirdly get away with looking female. 😂
I love Come Fly With Me, it's a shame you cannot get full episodes on CZcams.

I loved Little Britain and thought I'd seen it all but I hadn't seen these! I actually think it was probably more fun watching along with you! (and that last line totally got me as well!) 😆His delivery is perfect.

David Walliams and Matt Lucas, David the tall guy ,matt the other guy. They have lots of different characters in little Britain, it's mostly a sketch show. Some of their characters were banned. Both of these guys have done a lot of other stuff independently. Very talented people.
That would have been Bubbles DeVere, Reuben and Desiree DeVere that were banned.

I remember when I worked 9 to 5. This was before the banking apps started. My bank opened at 9:15am, closed at 4:45pm and was closed at the weekend. So, the only way I could get to the bank without taking a day off was to go during my lunch break and then eat lunch at my desk.
I've not seen those characters before, but I laughed as hard as you did! Look out for other Little Britain sketches - Lou and Andy, Fat Fighters, Vicky Pollard, Dafydd the Only Gay in the Village, and Computer Says No. The guy who does the voiceover is Tom Baker, who was the fourth man who played Doctor Who on TV in the 70s and early 80s. His lines in LB are mostly complete nonsense!

Here in Windermere in the English Lake District it's the same, things are more likely closed on a Monday. It's because this is a tourist destination and they don't want to miss out on weekend business when people are off work, maybe Florida was the same at some point and they just kept it that way. :)

Lot's to explore with Little Britain - the joy is the mix so I'd crack on with a full episode. You'll see repetitions of the sketches format, as with this couple, episode for episode which is actually half the reason for watching - the expectation is everything.

you see these couples all the time in the uk, usually shopping at the town centre, i always look at the man to see if he has the standard "fucking kill me now" look on his face.

@@simonrobbins8357 like on here or other sites dude , im a dj and i can post a mix on here and its instant copyright strikes and the vid gets muted the bbc dont like their programs being watched for free , hence there are no episodes on here , as soon as they are posted they get muted so no point , you can get away with clips but thats about it . Also i have app called cinema hd it lets you watch pretty much everything ...aint no bbc stuff on there

We in Britain do not work on Mondays also, its not a well known thing but if you are in the motor racing industry or any other industry that races weekends then you do not open your premises on Mondays as weekends are for racing. So Monday is a day of rest, not Sunday. I used to go out with a girl from Florida and her dad did not open for business due to the company racing motorbikes the weekend. Also lot of motorbike shops in England are closed on Mondays.
