I kept saying they just have to chip away, it will take time but you have to start somewhere. Well, here we are 10+ years on and chipping away at it. Still have a way to go but it's starting. I had my first taste of Buckeye football back in the Coach Hayes era. (I was born in 1965) what a wonderful and glorious ride it has been over the years. Living on the west coast for the past thirty five years has NOT changed anything. This game takes precedence over any and all things, even if it means taking the day off of work to see it. When they start the broadcasts and mention the history and they show Coach Hayes and that guy named Bo...it becomes like a title fight in boxing and the only words I say on that day is "Let's get it on"!
Where on the west coast? Im out here in sausalito next to san fran. They dont even care about football out here. Pac 12 sucking doesn't help i guess. O-H

I watched this video and the thing that OSU had over Michigan each year seems to be that they always have more playmakers than Michigan, and eventually one of them makes a play! Also they have had better quarterbacks, who were not glued to the pocket, but could buy time!

It is the best of all bar none. That followed by Pittman touchdown was what really broke the curse, at least for me. We obviously started to turn things around in 2001 but lost in 2003 and I remember in 2005 that damn it is still hard to beat them on the road. Few years later Carr retired, TTUN really began to falter and the rest is history with us dominating the rivalry which at one point in the 90s just felt like a hopeful dream. Ahhhhhh how sweet that victory was.. (reminiscing good times after another ass kicking on the road in 2019)
I am a buckeye, but don't give up! Be a real fan and hang in there. I will get better. A true fan will cheer for their team, even when it is tough. (try being a browns fan!)

I love the Buckyes and I will always hurt over that 2006 championship against Florida. There was know way they were as good as us. That may be the best team we ever had. THE BEST was Michigan was#2 and we were#1 to go to the championship game. Troy Smith was Heisman winner. Ironic thing Urben Myers was the coach of Florida. I still have night mares over that game. Don't want to lose the good feeling from the video by talking about the 2006 NC debacle, but it sure seemed like something was really wrong with OSU that day. I saw a very good team all year and then all of a sudden they were a mess. It didn't help that Ginn got injured after the first play by his own team, or course - but there was something more going on. I've heard some rumors, but nothing that's been substantiated. UF earned it and maybe they would have beat OSU even if they were at their best. It will always be a shame that we didn't get to find out, though.... What a nut shot of a game.....
Yeah I heard alot of players slacked off preparing for Meyers team that year...but the coaching stunk too...add to it we faced a very motivated Meyer team and the shit hit the fan...definitely one of my worse memories too. At least Meyer is our guy now lol...should be for a while too.

The sad thing is, without Ohio State and Urban Meyer, the Big Ten really wouldn't be competitive at all. The Troy Smith team from 2006 got destroyed by Florida. Michigan isn't even the best in their state at times, and certainly not the big ten. And then, when you match the big ten with the SEC? Forget it.
This is always the biggest game of the season and to move it a different week would be sacrilegious. It would just break tradition and the game would never be the same.
This surely must have been the easiest video to compile, because every play against Michigan is always successful. Michigan totally sucks. They want to pretend they're an elite program, but the only thing elite about them is their ability to completely fail against the Buckeyes every year.

The sad thing is, without Ohio State and Urban Meyer, the Big Ten really wouldn't be competitive at all. The Troy Smith team from 2006 got destroyed by Florida. Michigan isn't even the best in their state at times, and certainly not the big ten. And then, when you match the big ten with the SEC? Forget it.

Brent hates OSU...always has. It took over 10 years but finally the complaints sunk in and they no longer allow him to call Buckeye games.
Brent hates OSU but I think he hates Michigan as much as "The Game" is the only time Brent was remotely fair to OSU.

This is always the biggest game of the season and to move it a different week would be sacrilegious. It would just break tradition and the game would never be the same.
This surely must have been the easiest video to compile, because every play against Michigan is always successful. Michigan totally sucks. They want to pretend they're an elite program, but the only thing elite about them is their ability to completely fail against the Buckeyes every year.
