If you listen to the Sidemen's content recently (the YT group JJ is a part of) you can tell he is out of boxing mentally. JJ started boxing off a whim, it wasn't a plan for him like music was and to reach the high levels we all sorta want (i.e. fight Jake) he has to keep up with the levels of training he has been since pre-COVID times. He's gotten his first real break in probably 5 or so years which when you put it in perspective for the influencer boxing and stuff, it's pretty crazy for one of the biggest people on the platform. If I had to guess he does a Logan kinda thing, takes a while off, and then gets back into it to finally fight Jake. The likelihood that happens probably isn't the highest but I think that's the only way it does happen. I've been calling for this to end for quite a while now so I'm personally not mad if it doesn't end up happening but I understand why people could feel a bit blue balled by it lol. What I do disagree with is the people who just objectively dislike JJ in these comments saying all this nonsense purely because they're outsiders to these peoples lives. If you take a step back it makes a lot more sense

The correct answer. Fuck the jake paul fight, I just want ksi to be a youtuber again and be a part of the sidemen videos.
Training pre covid? He had already dropped boxing almost entirely before covid. And he lives in the UK, he didn't train a day as a result of covid for well over a year minimum.
It was an open secret even back during the Logan fights that he didn't train at all between fights, he said he was keeping fit and active, but going on months long tours, was in every Sidemen video, was doing constant videos for his own channel, colabs etc and wearing loose clothing to hide his ballooning weight from doing nothing physical.
I don't think peoe realise how little training he had done before his more recent shift into the crazy boxing training full time. Recently it was a lot. Up until that point he had done around 3 10 week camps total and close to nothing else. And for two of those camps, his trainers admitted they spent most of the time getting him in shape.
LSI is a coward sissy; talking all these years about how he is better than Jake and then just run away from him and "retires". What a legacy loool
JJ isn't in a humbling timeframe, this is something a lot of the boxing realm get twisted, KSI is the persona he puts on especially promoting boxing, and when you're in boxing camp it changes you. but this is JJ, we've seen normal JJ quite a lot in recent years on podcasts and interviews and moresidemen, he is naturally a humble guy, this doesn't change anything for him because he was happy long ago, I think the time we noticed a change in his personality and maturity was around early 2020 which matches up to when he roughly started therapy which he has stated multiple times helped him a lot. He's happy in life, he doesn't do this for the reasons other influencers do this, he's got prime, music, sidemen, xix, sidemen clothing, sides, all these branches that hes content these days. people see the "I can see john cena" KSI persona and they think "oh i hate this guy, he needs humbling" He gets humbled everyday by his friends, reddit and the mirror when he sees his hairline, bros humble enough. and as far as the ending, I'm glad he's taking a break off he's been nonstop working since 2017, it's insane, from music to TV, to touring, to boxing, it's been nonstop, he deserves a few months to chill with his family and friends. the Jake JJ fight will happen eventually and I think around the second, third month into 2024 the boxing talk will start again he just needs a break to chill finally.
🤔 AS LONG AS KSI AND JAKE DONT FIGHT, IT WILL ACTUALLY KEEP BOTH RELEVANT. In the sense that if they fought the conversation would end, if they don’t EVERYONE is going to talk about it.💯💯✊🏽

That’s not why they were upset with Wade. They were upset that he was disregardful of how many PPV’s it’d sell, which as a Misfits employee wasn’t a good look. Wade’s entitled to his opinion though and it shouldn’t have gotten as dirty as it did.

I disagree with the assessment that it's "not JJ's fault that this fight isn't happening". When you've spent the past year or so claiming on almost a daily basis that your objective is to fight Jake Paul only to then once again cockblock us all is just beyond frustrating and just feels like he's toying with us. One of the reasons why we all got so invested in JJ's previous fights, from Swarmz all the way to Tommy, was because of a potential future fight against Jake. Had this element not been there I don't know if we would have cared anywhere near as much because nowhere near as much would have been on the line for JJ. It's starting to seem as though he used the "my goal is to beat Jake" narrative to promote his fights, because I don't believe for a second that he was going into this fight with Tommy without already knowing that he was probably going to take a large break afterwards, he has done this many times before.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think at all that he's scared of Jake or anything like that, I just think that he knows full well that he isn't someone that wants to do the same thing over and over again and I think he knew full well that he was 'done' after this fight and that the odds of him fighting Jake were almost non existent, at least in the near future. Remember when JJ in the build up to this fight was saying "I might just retire after I beat Tommy"? Yeah. That shit wasn't a joke.

Very off topic: I think you should consider a different style of glasses, which will compliment your facial structure. These frames are a bit large, causing the illusion of your eyes being too close together. It comes off a bit like being cross-eyed. A smaller, classic frame will elevate your look.
KSI set out to do what Jake couldn’t. Which was to beat Tommy Fury. He didn’t do that. Well he came closer some might say even though Jake lost a split decision where KSI lost a unanimous decision. Well he went 6 rounds. Jake went 8 rounds. He landed a good shot on Tommy. Jake landed a couple good shots too. And yeah jake knocked Tommy down.

I'm sorry but after seeing that snooze feast called Misfits boxing, I will not be tuning in ever again unless its a KSI vs Jake Paul fight. That being said, if JJ really does retire he can never label himself better than Jake Paul in boxing.

canelo is only 33. he's just been such a big name since he was so young and has had like 70 pro fights, so it's easy to assume he's old. it sounds crazy but canelo is actually multiple years YOUNGER than AJ, Crawford, Usyk, Lomachenko. he's even younger than Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano. i doubt him and jake ever even enter negotiations timeline wise

Dude literally has been training for two decades with some of the best coaches. His family are literally champions and he has freak genetics.

The judges should at least give the second round a 10-8 round for KSI. The judges even had one judge having KSI winning round 5 and another having him win round 6 when KSI did better in round 2 in comparison to rounds 5 and 6. The judges should change the second round.
You clearly have no idea how boxing scoring works. Did Ksi knockdown/ dominate impose his will, control the ring, and do damage in round 2? No? Can't remember the fight that well, i remember thinking Tommy had quite clearly won by winning more rounds in a sloppy fight, with no knockdowns, so why would round 2 be a 10-8, in boxing it needs to be a KD or an absolute dominant round with huge damage, wobble them several times to get a 10-8, but then again I'm probably talking to child here
