These are day one boxing fundamentals and in result there is no snap on his punches

Honestly what hurts the influencer scene more is two of your largest egos have shown relatively little growth despite billing themselves as the top of the food chain.
KSI with a gameplan of purposely trying to get hit in the back of the head and Logan never having someone correct his awkward flailing punches make for bad viewing.

Some people just don’t have it in them either. My boxing coach has many amateur gold glove champions and two pros under him. I’ve seen dudes that he has coached for a year or two who just can’t grasp the concept of throwing a good punch. I just don’t think Logan is a fighter and needs to stick to WWE.
Dillon barely trained, went out drinking the night before, didn’t have a coach and still didn’t get knocked down or ever seemed in any danger from Logan.
Logan has boxed for 5 years and couldn’t do what Jake did against Askren, Woodley, Silva or even Diaz.

The only fight I can see getting hype after this would be Jake vs KSI, Jake vs Logan or MAYBE Tommy vs McGregor, because as far as other influencer boxers go, none of them are popular enough or good enough to gain any real momentum.
Let’s be real: influencer boxing only became big because it was started by some of the biggest CZcamsrs at the time.
They’re still the ones doing it to this day and everyone else who started out with them has dropped off.
With no new stars to sell PPV’s and no upcoming CZcamsrs training, the influencer side of boxing will be dead within 2 years.
Neither Diaz woodley askren or silva were just covering up and trying to survive so the comparison is null and void 🤦♂️

Jake actually fought his fights - granted he's not brilliant by any means, but at least he fought and his opponents fought back.

I'm starting to believe I'm the only person who genuinely loved this fight for what it meant. It genuinely was amazing to see everything I predicted not only play out, but mean something. It meant sometimes when Dillion COULDN'T do anything and Logan could do everything to him after Dillons onslaught on social media.
In short, Dillon thought that he could walk in on some bullshit and got his ass whooped for it

Logan, a proven scam artist, talked a huge game about people ducking his fights and defending his wife’s honour and threw eighty punches from the hip and refused to unlearn any of his obvious boxing weaknesses. No progression. No knockout.
They both made so much money off this. And it was so much hot air. Complete arse.
At least Logan tried. Honestly the main event was so much worse. KSI and Tommy were such a disgrace to boxing. With their clinching the entire fight. No one got their jab going. No one utilized combos and distance management. It's a shame that it was the main event and one is technically a "pro boxer"

Something very few seem to be able to agree on is that all FOUR "fighters" in the co-main events were TERRIBLE, and honestly shouldn't box again headlining any sort of PPV. I guess KSI can do one more, just fight Jake so we can finally end this, then let's move on.

There was one short upper thrown by Dillon in that fight which was just executed perfectly but just missed. For me that was the highlight of the fight... a missed punch.
Why is there any surprise about this whole situation? Logan chose him.
It’s not like there was any hype or drama about wanting to see this fight before Dillion began to promote it. Before Logan picked him, Dillion was a MMA fighter recovering from a fairly serious knee injury who has barely had any MMA fights in Bellator. Then he somehow got the KSI fight which he bailed on last minute.
Unless Logan had his head buried under a mountain he knew exactly what he was getting into when his team reached out with a boxing contract. Don’t get me wrong both Logan and Dillion are awful people with all of their scams and whatnot. But Logan did far more damage to this influencer boxing scene than anyone else.

Also, can't really compare Conor vs. Mayweather and Dillon vs. Logan. It's understandable why Conor took it serious than as to why Dillon didn't take it serious. The most embarrassing parts of the fight was when Logan stuffed his takedown attempt and when Dillon went all out on that guillotine attempt and failed miserably (granted it was the 6th rd and it’s no doubt they were so sweaty that it just slipped right out especially when trying a standing guillotine from that angle) but I legitimately think that Logan’s Wrestling defense is better than Dillons wrestling attack.. regardless it was dreadful to watch and Logan is absolutely pitiful, to be that sauced up and big to not be able to even seriously wobble or knock down a guy who literally didn’t train at all and completely embarrassed your fiancé and you for months is ridiculous

I think everyone’s reaction is a massive overreaction to the entirety of the concept of influencer boxing. Was the last misfit objectively awful? Absolutely! But even that backfired because Logan was able to easily pop his head out of that pathetic guillotine attempt and give Danis some good old fashioned ground n pound for his troubles! So Dillon effectively lost both a boxing match, and an MMA fight at the same time, and in the most shameful way possible!

I’m amazed that everyone still thinks they can just put pace these CZcams boxers and tire them out. Time and time again they have shown us they can go the distance and don’t tire so easily. It’s like people forget Logan is an actual athletes who is used to pushing himself.
My biggest takeaway from the fight that all of that talk when Logan said he's better than Jake is nonsense "you don't know how good I've gotten", he's the same boxer and Jake would 100% clean Logan up easily, they are not on the same level of skill.

Excusing Logan is the dumbest thing that could be done here. Also, Dillon won by DQ. Logan's security got in the ring before the match was called. The ref was worthless.
Did you actually watch the fight? Dilon tried 3 illegal takedowns in the 6 round fight and the fight was over before Logan's security entered the ring. The bell was never rang but they showed the counter up until 11 seconds and I counted out 13 seconds before Dilon got off the ground after the last takedown and charged after Logan. The bell should've gone off before he got up. You are right the ref was worthless because he should've DQed him after the 2nd illegal takedown attempt.
@@ICP1SBJ Unfortunately I watched the whole thing. I definitely didn't see three takedown attempts, I saw one, and that was right before he got punched on the ground and the security jumped in. Pretty sure that's just a negative point. However, punching an opponent on the ground is a DQ.
Like you said, the bell never rang and the ref never stopped the fight, so Logan was the first to commit an offense that warrants a dq, twice.
