My favorite colonist is definitely Artist4, who somehow managed to make a sculpture with negative beauty. I didn't even know that was possible.

Edit: What you could have done for the rooms is build the doors, but set zones to remove roofs. The colonists would still get the "Slept Outdoors" thought but it would've helped prevent "Disturbed Sleep" and still give them light to build the beds once you were ready. Also colonists will only search for tables within a certain radius (50 tiles) to go eat at. If there aren't any nearby tables they just eat on the ground. Building a table + chairs every 100 or so tiles within the base will ensure they can always find a nearby table to eat at.
With the attacking anyone who's upset and the heavy drugging of everyone.
All I can think of is "we happy few"
I love how all of them have "sky-high" expectations while they have no shirts, eat nutrient paste, and do the same job day in and day out, if you can even call what they're forced to do a "job".

Pro tip: You can unforbid everything by right click the 'allow selection' icon in the orders section of the architect tab.
I tried a 100 colonists game a while back and this makes me want to get back to that save but it also makes me want to try a 100 colonist ice sheet.

Otherwise the endless stacks of "observed corpse" could be an issue.

my poor heart. you have the blueprint mod, you couldve just made another blueprint at 5 or 10 rooms and then placed them down instead of doing it one by one :(
also, for the workbenches, you can copy a bill in one and then quickly paste it into the others using the button next to the 'x' of the workbench

The ReplaceIt mod on the steam workshop makes things like replacing the beds much much easier. It lets you just place the beds and it automatically deconstructs anything that was there before
1:03 you can unforbid everything in the map by going to Orders->(Right-click)Allow->Allow all

What an excellent idea, this was really fun to watch! For the next time I would suggest getting the mod that lets everyone sleep together in a massive barracks without requiring personal rooms and the mod that removes the disturbed sleep debuff.

the moment someone steps out of line you just beat them to death.
for stuff like making statues, cooking, etc (things you instruct them to do), you can copy and paste instructions via the two pieces of paper on top of each other next to the yellow S. This is useful when you have many stations that you want them all to do the same thing. Love your videos!
Loving these videos, truly something unique kudos. Also you can build wooden beds over the sleeping spot, and it is automatically assigned to the pawn that had that sleeping spot.
For your next massive ant far- I mean rimworld colony you should probably get a stack mod like stack xxl. The tile economy was obviously not designed for this many colonists, even on the largest map, and it would help with micromanaging and probably even lag
Smashing! I was about to take a nap and saw this video, I woke the hell up from that half-asleep state, these absolutely absurd series that you do are always the best! I would like to see more kenshi like this as well as rimworld!
Fun idea: make half of the colonists night owls, that way everything will get done much faster! also more ant-like!

I wanted to try your last one as well, however I realized 2 hours into the setup that you put a lot of time, effort, energy, and thought into the setup. I would love to follow along again this time as well, but unfortunately don't have the time to set it up myself. Can you please tell me how you don't have fps drops, although you have 200 colonists? Maybe there is but very small drops

If you double click on a certain object (such as sleeping spots) it will select ALL currently on screen. Good for quickly deleting them or setting them all to medical beds.

just a heads up, go to Architect --> Orders right click unforbid and click unforbid all. It helps me a lot

Lots of RimWorld tips, as someone who has nearly a thousand hours on that cursed organ harvesting simulator!
some basics: clicking and dragging on blueprints selects everything regardless of type, and double clicking on anything but structures or trees/crops selects everything on the screen. I think I saw someone say this too, but using the blueprint mod to create a whole bunch of rooms in this situation is way easier than doing it individually.
So for any like art benches,butchers,stoves, etc near the top right is a button that lets you copy any jobs that is set there which can help speed up and ease your job of micromanagement very slightly
Okay to help you out.
1, you can copy bills use the 2 sheets at the top of a bill and press the paper with an arrow at the bench you want it at
2, Go to orders, allow, them right-click for allow all
3, Double click on an object to select ALL of that type of object on screen to interact with broadly

Part of the reason you get extras is simply because the game gives you more than you ask for happens to me every time I use prepare carefully

a little trick about unforbidint all items, if you go to architect -> order and then righ click the forbid tool you're going to get an option to unforbid all the items on the map.

You should probably get more nutrient paste dispensers, otherwise 200 colonists will spend literally all day pulling food out of it
