The only trait i ever look for is psychopath. It's like playing the game on ez mode while playing out your most depraved fantasies, win-win in my book.

@@Self-replicating_whatnot Depends on the degree of psychopathy. Real psychopaths show a degree of missing emotional centers. Also, most people talk like they know shit about psychopaths when it's just an educated guess to "contradict the hollywood" but reality is just that.
@@no3ironman11100 psychopath doesn’t mean cold and calculating. It can lend itself to that, but it just means a lack of empathy and morality, and only caring about your own well-being. Psychopaths can actually go off the rails pretty easily when they’re frustrated, it doesn’t affect intelligence or resilience
10:45 In the creature info tab (The big “I”), you can see the life expectancy of different animals. A dromedary’s life span is 45 so you should still have a good few years to go. And the creature won’t die when it passes that age, it’s just expected to die then.

@@orbit692 if you mean the world overview, in the map generation screen you can change how much of the planet is generated by clicking on the 30% and changing it to a 50 or a 100% generation for the entire planet. This will take time.
If you mean the amp he plays on then you just go to when you choose a startingg location and at the bottom you click “Advanced” and it allows you to change the starting season and size of the game map. This cannot be changed mid game.

@@simongames100 bruh deserts get insanely cold at night since they lack the moisture in the air to hold heat. The only way they get any heat at night is what comes up from the Earth either due to the Earth's core or just the ground which was heated during the day. Still, though most deserts drop below 40°F with the Sahara reaching average lows of 25°F during the summer. Mind you hypothermia is a result of your internal body temperature dropping faster than it can replace it so it can happen at temperatures even above freezing.

You do know that rice in Arab countries is grown normally like other crops its just Chinese rice is weird
Rice in Asia grows in water due to weeds. Weeds cant survive in submerged field. Rice can be grown on normal soil tho

After regaining inspiration to play rimworld by watching your ice sheet playthrough, and subsequently losing the entire colony just a couple days ago, I am blessed by more Rimworld via your new video. I shall live vicariously through you.
a tip for anyone that will try this scenario, when you get to build more rooms to make the main room colder, in order to really min max the mood of your colonists you can tell them to sleep alone in one of the outer rooms, they will get hotter, but depending on size and furniture they can actually have more mood by the end of it
I grew up in the states with Fahrenheit. Playing Rimworld got me so used to Celcius, that when ambiguous talked about the outside temperature being fine at 70 degrees, I went "HUH? That hot??"

Ambigous i have recently stumbled upon you and have binged roughly 20 hours of your content. Literally every rimworld series. I am beyond excited to see this playthrough. However, i will not be watching it till you have at least 5 'episodes' because i can't handle the suspense of one episode at a time. Please keep up the content. See you soon.
When senra and jeek got their divorce, it showed what I love about this game. It really just creates stories which are easy to imagine more depth to. Like after a near death experience, (99% infection and then immediately getting immunity!) sometimes that can happen for any number of personal reasons and no matter what it is there are going to be really strong feelings attached to that. So the huge mood debuff felt really fitting. But it was all randomly generated. It's just an amazing game.

Extreme desert is honestly the hardest game start after maybe sea ice. Your food cannot last and the lack of growable soil or animals makes it so difficult to feed anyone. Regular heat waves also tend to make any combat outdoors very unpleasant. Looking forward to seeing how you deal with the problems ahead

A lot of the challenge comes from just where you decide to 'embark' so to say.

Found your channel a bit ago when I started playing Rimworld and I really like it. I have tried a few of your gamemodes just to see how I could do. Thanks for making fun videos :D
I was NEVER good at the vanilla version of this game. Got most of the mods you use and it made the game so much better. Granted I did a game where I spanwed what was effectively a team of four ODSTs and had them construct a self sufficient FOB and defend it against progressively worsening alien attacks, but I still was able to do something from watching your videos. Your videos actually made this game fun for me, just like Kenshi.
Every time I start up one of you're video's it feels like I'm going on a spiritual journey. You're criminally underrated.
