Over the years the Konami Arcade Championships have had a load of tournaments, and while the more popular games like Sound Voltex and DDR get a good amount of attention, the others have tended to fall outside of the spotlight over the years. With that in mind let's take a look at The 5th KAC's Reflec Beat Tournament, the greatest rhythm game tournament you've never seen.

5th kac was legendary. this event also saw the reveals of lachryma in sound voltex and chernobog in beatstream

That beginning aged like fine milk with the announcement of kac the 11th
But damn if that reflec tourney wasn't one of the hypest rgc moments ever.
I think Rebellio was the only 13 to be in Reflec Beat before the Reflesia rework since the rework raised the ratings to 15 but had to rework the game, so I'm not sure what a 15 in Reflesia is equivalent to.
Oh god that reflec beat tourney went so hard.

a bit of a nitpick is that 万物快楽理論 (the level 10 song in 7:42) is VERY hard to time in Reflec Beat, I think it has wrong timing attached to them, iirc? (worse than bag, which is the right BPM but wrong quantization)
so while Full Combo might be an easy feat for them, timing it for the best result is a whole different story.
