That LTD sure handled well with what must have been at least 1000 lbs of ammo and ordinance loaded in it. lol
That was no LTD that was a M1 Abrams Tank in disguise
Especially with the Lincoln Town Car luxo-floaterboat suspension...
Never underestimate the power and coolness of the best LTD ever made from 75-78
72 ltd and galaxie was pretty good too
8:22 1979 Trans Am turns into a Plymouth Duster 😅 also throughout the chase the bad guys glass returns, dissappears, returns, dissappears
And the bad guys' hair never blows around with or without glass ....
@@keywestjj hah! Good catch 👏

I think this might be the perfect movie to play Car Chase Bingo with. It hits almost every trope you could think of, and then adds an explosion at the end of each one just because hell, why not?
Someone is getting fired. Someone is getting demoted. Everyone is getting sued.
Those guys in the LTD must have learned to shoot at the Imperial Storm Trooper Academy.
Real stunt work, not artificial cartoon computer effects!
And 5 phony car explosions in the first 9 minutes. BS. I'm out.
Those light bars are pretty sweet with their ability to switch back and forth between red and clear lenses
There's so many inconsistency i can't even keep watching this.
😂
Whoever was in charge of continuity on this film made a dogs breakfast out of it, don't know what's worse glass magically re-appearing to get shot out again or firing 2 dozen rounds out of a disposable single shot rocket launcher.
Just pretend it's a China Lake.
Why is literally everything in this movie made of TNT?
Because this is a *real* action movie ; that's how it goes.
18:54 Full sized Ford Police Car turns into a Ford Granada as it goes off the side of a bridge.
LOL i know it was flipping funny
Cost cutting 😂😂😂
Great observation, I missed it the first time.
@@heartlandfarmer2720 The 1st time I thought I was seeing things.
several full size cars turned into Grenada's. Bridge, lake, crash in town. etc etc.. and those LTD windows... LOL!! Even Conners car went from a Ford to a Dodge Diplomat... Continuity in this movie is an absolute joke.
Tremendous acting. These cars sure know their stuff.
Continuity be damned. "Dear Jesus!" This is the finest car chase ever.
I guess the budget came down to either the gasoline for the 20 minute chase or recording additional cop sirens and they chose the gasoline
Good thing they did.
This movie is actually ridiculous lol
That LTD must be magic, the front and back windows keep appearing and disappearing
Yes it did
Head light too
It was the Very Limited Houdini Magic Edition LTD
Christine was its mother ....🙃
@@keywestjj DUDE GOOD ONE
That guy trying to jump the river in the car, soon figured out he wasn't Bo or Luke Duke, and he sure ain't Moses.
In Japan, new detective dramas were born by importing the detective style and action scenes from American movies of the 1970s, especially Dirty Harry.
A lot of interesting pre used cars & random vehicle exchange's looks good
Didn’t expect this chase to be a full-on terrorist attack.
Chuck Conners was such a badass in this. I don't know how I didn't see this in the 80s or 90s.
Police Chief says he needs backup. Good thing the responding black cop had just finished his black coffee.
When the Crow Victoria crashed they became a Ford Galaxy 500
This is the movie where a full size yellow school bus suddenly turns into a short bus...
Yesterday, I saw that movie, I like very much. Good work.
When did you come up with the idea to post classic car scene movie clips?
Its pretty darn cool
and the Rifleman Lucas McCain was pretty cool
Im from Libya i love old American cars
Dang. The Rifleman is cold blooded. Ran that old guy over and didn’t stop!
Chuck: Eh, he was probably already dead.
I have one word to say: insane 🤯🤯.
Gj be b bmlaweahiureuokb. Lre bo. Oyrfdc. O 3:08

Thanks for responding sir indeed it's insane.
Wrong. "Incompetent".
Diplomat changes into a Ford Granada Lol 🤣 and poof goes into flames 😅
What the hell? I'm 8 minutes in and not a single flying hub cap?!!!!
The 5 exploding cars kinda makes up for it....not.
Better than the TERMINATOR and at a fraction of the production budget.
Some of you guys dont know much about movies then.
You've got to admire the luck of the Getaway Driver in movies; despite never having been at that location before, they seemingly find all the correct turns because Plot Device GPS.
Real life, grantee, at some point, they'll make a wrong turn and either come face to face with a wall or a window.
Obviously the Smoke Stack was coming down 😅
Continuity nightmare.
Love it. 14:21 That's a personal favourite just there 😉
8:11 It was a crown victoria and when it crashed it was a '74 coronet, couldn't the same model be used?
Just ran over that guy and kept going. More like Chad Conners.
Chuck 'hairpiece" Connors proclaimed proceed with caution, right after flatting the guy, then burns rubber, goes over 115mph, gets close enough to be automatic weapon shot (all misses at 100 ft). Way to go Chuckie LOL
That GODDAMN ltd low flying😂
This issue...this issue will destroy New York City.
8:55 I think you can see the real police sitting down there at the stoplight with the road shutdown for filming
Damn, those old American cars caught on fire really easily :D
These cops had machine guns and they missed the car?
They have the Magic rocket launcher the real one only fire once yet there's fires multiple times. And every car burns WOOWIE
This movie has a lot of continuity problems. One scene has the terrorist shooting at a Ford LTD which then becomes a 1978 Granada.
Cop runs over a pedestrian and keeps going lol
More like Chad Connors
Really scary movie! They got out of that bus right in the nick of time!
The song playing during the chase is awesome.
The Laurel and Hardy police force could not catch them but some high schoolers took them out. The kids of the 80s we're tough. Or something like that. Noticed a hard left turns at the bus had to make and then straighten up to the right without a driver just so it would crash through the train
Some of us early 90s kids were too😀
And there was a handy ramp so it could get air born before crashing through the train.
@@heartlandfarmer2720 handicap accessible is the law. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I want to know where i can buy one of those self healing windshields.
Love the Ford Ltd and the Chrysler new Yorker m8ss these cars😢
Cool Bus jumping 😂
Крутой фильм про гонки с полицией) Крутые ретро-автомобили. Полицейские Доджи сзади весьма похожи на Тойоту Корону.
And a wiggly giggly thumbs up for us all! Whahooo!
Terror Squad eh? Ok weve seen the best bits now, thanks.
El mítico Andrés Pajares una de las únicas películas de acción que todo en América.. que bien manejaba el coche huyendo de la policía...
how long goes that ltd windshield lol
..and the City of Kokomo Indiana was never the same again. The End.
Eu amo esses filmes!!!🍺🍺🗿🗿
8:22 The duster from CHIPs that makes all cars flip and explode!!
子供の頃テレビで観てました。ハチャメチャカーチェイス、四角いアメ車かっこいいです。🇺🇸📽️
I was just randomly watching this and I was like “I know these buildings” this was filmed in the small town I live in😭😭
The first scene was of NIPSCO from behind the yacht club in Michigan City Indiana. This was at the same time the PamAm games were going on. I worked there for the Port Authority at that time. Other shots were taken in Laporte and other places in northern Indiana.
Was it me, or did I hear the teenage couple speaking CHIPMUNK ???? 😳
Great film but some of them Mopar M-Bodies cop car are Plymouth Grand Fury by the look of the grille.
"Great film"??? 😳🤯 Compared to WHAT?
1:38 Cone Palace sign “Spanish Hot Dogs”
What in the heck is a Spanish hot dog?
Perhaps a sausage link wrapped in a tortilla?! 🤷🏻♂️
GTA 5 star wanted level 1970s edition lol
Haha that Trans Am at 8:22 that gets hit from behind, then turns into a Plymouth Duster just as the cop car flies over it upside down🤣
Как называется этот фильм?
Where can I get this movie on DVD?
Cool cool
Ничего не могу написать потому что я этот язык не учил,но мне нравится смотреть этот смысл.
1979//🥰🥰🥰
In che città è stato girato? grazie.
I should not be laughing at 14:04 onward so hard LOL
Literally a run over old man. 4:59, 5:13
Unbelievable does anyone care about the older generation anymore and come on even the rifleman himself did not stop too.
Can anyone identify the music used througout this chase??
Starting with the motorcycle guy at 12:45, the bad guy just starts shooting up random people and their cars. Also buildings, signs, etc. I don't get it.
Dude, put that Uzi down and keep both hands on the wheel.
Says 1983 LTD Crown Victoria, I say 1986, 3rd brake light in car. Fed requirement for 1986 year. Cheesy movie
Who will win, the hot 🔥 movie 🎥♥️ i like it ♥️
Poor old guy.
What movie is this? Watching beginning.
Those diplomats were gutless. Woooooooo 110 mph lol
Yeah, I drove one a few times. The cop version had a measly 318, but they used 360 heads, intake, and a Q-jet, NOT a thermoquad. No power at all, but they handled and stopped really well for the era.
Adoro essas cenas de perseguição com belos exemplares V8 Norte americanos 😁😁😁🤘🤘🤘
GTA: Guns, Terrorism, Allah.
water towers don't seem to do well in these movies lol
I use to always think that was Chuck Conners
3:57 It turns into a Ford Fairmont
How come movies from now are worse than back then? Like this police chase is better than almost any police chase in modern history since it well makes a bit more since? 😅
Because when I think big police chases Kokomo Indiana comes up first
Luck is on this guys side
❤❤❤❤❤❤wow!!!!
1978 Ford LTD driven by the bad guys has wheel covers from a 71 or 72 Pontiac Catalina
👍👍👍
Погони от режиссера, смотревшего Угнать за 60 секунд 74 года
forgot the ford Granada!! lol
Melhor filme de polícia perguindo elementos bandidos perigosos
چه فیلم خیلی باحالی کاشکی بادوبله ی فارسی بود
This film had to be controversy to Libya. And who hated this film? Colonel Gaddafi.
