I got to unbox a CD Jukebox about 10 years ago. It was made in Germany. It was quite an adventure. I can identify with your excitement. I still love to play it with the bubbles in the tube.
I have a 1938 Wurlitzer Jukebox. I have thought about one of these new 45rpm boxes but my restoration man said the changers on these are not good and mostly consists of plastic parts with a plastic platter BUT THEY LOOK SO COOL! haha
The main gripper and turntable assembly parts are metal for the most part. I’ve owned the cd version since 1995 and have never have a mechanical failure in the changer mechanism.
Yooooo, there used to be this exact jukebox at a McDonalds back in 2008 or so at a far away town from where I lived, and I always wanted to play one of the records inside. It was sadly removed after a remodel of the restaurant which took away the uniqueness since all the other McDonalds at my area didn't have a jukebox while the one from a far away town did

@@AJoker4u you will do fine. I don’t think I even used the manual setting mine up :-) The CD models are a little trickier because you have to map the cds.
All of the finishes are great looking it just depends on your preference. You could line in a turntable to the auxiliary inputs but you would need to bring it up to line level for most high quality turntables.
The needle cleans itself. So wipe off the exterior from time to time and in home use the mech requires very little basic maintenance. Excellent all the way around.
Great box... vinyl is back !! Sadly the turntable-plate looks cheap....would be nicer with silver black rubber and some design in the center like the old ones (regis etc)
I didn’t care for the color scheme either. It is very well made and the turntable is heavy duty it just needs dressing up a bit. I look for that to be changed in later models.
I still have my Wurlitzer 1015 “One More Time” 45RPM Jukebox that I purchased way back in 1995. I am in the process of Bluetoothing it. Just waiting for the parts to arrive. Just curious. Is your new Rock-Ola Bluetooth also since it is a new Jukebox? If not you may want to consider it. Mine only holds 50-45s but even if it held 200 like yours does today it still wouldn’t hold enough music for me. I have been spoiled by Apple CarPlay which is like having a unlimited Jukebox of songs at your disposal and to use it in my Wurlitzer 1015 Jukebox will make it even better. It is just icing on the cake being I can still play the Vinyl also on the same machine when ever I feel like it. Won’t affect it at all.
@@ThePinballrebel Ken I just completed my Bluetooth of my Wurlitzer 45 RPM Recorder Jukebox. Works but I am not happy with the results being I can not control the volume adjustment at the juke box when in Bluetooth to my iPhone. I can only use the iPhone Volume to control the Juke Box which doesn't make sense to any other item I Bluetoothed inthe last few years. Just 2 weeks ago I Bluetoothed a Older 1970's Top Of the Line Pioneer Receiver I purchased during the late 70's. It works perfectly in it the sound is fantastic and I can control the Volume at the Pioneer Receiver and at my iPhone. Actually the Receiver sets the volume limits up or down at the iPhone like it should. With the Bluetooth sold to me made for my Wurlitzer 1015 I can't do that I can only use the initial Volume the iPhone has and can't make it any louder then it will go at the phone being I have no control at the Jukebox itself to adjust Volume up or down to the iPhone. I believe the Bluetooth kit has a flaw and in it. I guess my next question to you is what brand was the CD Jukebox you installed the Bluetooth to 1995 CD Model and do you remember having the same problem? Sorry to bother you with this. Add On: Just to update my post. It wasn’t long after posting here that I worked out the problem I had with Bluetoothing my Wurlitzer 1015 and it is now working perfectly with Bluetooth. No complaints. It was worth the little bit of trouble I had with it not having enough knowledge when I first did the job.
Do you have that many 45s? I have a nice collection of LPs but I don’t think I’ll ever have that many 45s but I love this jukebox and would love to have one!
I have lots of 45's waiting on my Rock-ola Glossy White and its in the shippers Hands. Been over 6 months but I can see the light at the end of the Tunnel. Very excited
Does ANYONE here know of any jukebox that has that same lighting system whether physical or simulated that uses digital music and is smaller like a small room or desktop sized one by chance? I have been looking for this exact jukebox lights ever since I was a kid if I could find a small personal one that is affordable I would be in heaven.
Amazing machine BUT... how did Rock-Ola exactly end up producing what is basically a Wurlitzer 1015 One More Time? I'd really like to know the story because I can't easily find clues online. So, let me try to get the basics right: the original machine was the Wurlitzer 1015 from 1947, which was replicated in 1986 with the One More Time, later also available with a CD changer. From 1973 Germany was the only place producing Wurlitzer Jukeboxes. During the Gibson ownership of the company manufacturing ceased in the 2013 season and never resumed. Now I apprehend Rock-Ola's Torrance plant is the only place where Rock-Olas are manufactured, still... if you enter the Wurlitzer shop selling for the EU market you can find parts for the OMT and the brand-new Bubbler line-up and the website also mentions shipments to US and Canada. So it seems to me almost as if they were made in Germany. But that would be a really awkward choice for the American market. I have to say I am puzzled about the brand shuffling that I've seen. For the glimpse I've had over the insides the Rock-Ola seems to share the same re-branded parts that were in the Wurlitzer OMT, so they must come from the same factory. It wouldn't really make sense to have two factories producing the same electronics for the very limited production runs they might have these days. Anyway... I am glad to see these machines still being manufactured and I wish we could see them more in cafes and places.

Ahhhh Man........I WANT ONE........NOW.....dammit.
And how much it is ?
Doc I'm from the future I came here in a time machine you invented and I need your help to get back to the year 1985
are there jukeboxes that play LPs?
Sound Leisure makes a model that plays LP's. As a general rule 12 33 1/3 playing jukeboxes were not a thing.
Crosley showed an lp one at an electronic show last year i think

The John Papa version came with a box of classic records :-)
Wow, I'm surprised the mechanism is not sideways like the older Rock Ola vinyl Jukeboxes (1960s to the 1980s)

@@ThePinballrebel BTW, this is THE SECOND Vinyl Rock Ola based on a Wurlitzer Design. Way before this, they had the 1000 Nostalgia (1987-89)

Mine is the John Papa Signature edition so it has a pretty powerful amp. QSC 500/700 watts depending on ohm configuration.
how heavy is it
Just under 300 pounds.
Sounded like there was some feedback/resonance during the demo. That would be a real shame if that's the case, given the price of this unit.
These still are running $10k in 2022.
Where do you even get this
