- Wife always wanted a JukeBox so this past winter I decided to try my hand in constructing one. After many hours searching web sites I was a little discourage to find out there is very limited information out there on this subject. So I hope this video will help others.
That is an amazing job my man! So cool!
Inspiring! And very well thought out/done.
This is very awesome. I am totally impressed.
Thanks It was a fun project
I love you work Sir,respect!
Thank you and it was a fun project to do
So much knowledge poured into this!
Patto Productions Thank you for your complement. It was a fun retirement project to do
Great video, I`m currently building one for my wife, but I'm thinking of going touchscreen and wallhung version, as we don't have much space in our lounge. I love your JukeBox, especially the moving coloured LED's on the front. Great job!
Thank you for the compliment. It was a very enjoyable project. I am currently working on a virtual pinball build and hope to complete it the next couple months.
Amazing! What kind of fabric did you use? Is it a special fabric for speakers? I love the vintage look of the fabric.
Amazzzzzzzzing
Thank you. It was a fun project
This is an amazing build. I am in the processes of building one as well and am taking huge inspiration from your build. I am building mine with a touch screen. Unfortunately my main issue if finding the semi transparent tubing to buy.
Thanks for the compliment. The tubbing was purchased from McMaster-Carr. Search for part number 50375K59. It’s Polyethylene, Polypropylene & Polycarbonate Tubing
hope that helps and love to see pictures of your build.
Robert Boring thanks heaps for helping out.
Bobbie!! John turned me on to your site Friday. Great Job!! Looks great!!! Hope your well!!!
Thanks Marty for the nice comments. If you ever get over my way please give me a call and we'll fire it up a play a few tunes for you😀
this is outstanding. very well done.
Eimaj Nudd thank you so much for the complement. It was a fun project to do and we really enjoy it now
@@robertboring4070 do you happen to have a set of plans for the cabinet? I'm looking to do something similar
Sorry I only have some very rough notes for cabinet. I was planning on making a set of working plans but never got around to it.
@@robertboring4070 no worries, thought it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Amazing job!! If you don’t mind me asking what size dimensions did you settle on for the cabinet.
Hello Buzzinga23. The overall dimensions are 58 inches high, 34 inches wide, and 22 inches depth. I’ll be happy to answer any other questions or provide you with any info can if you are thinking about building one. You are welcome to check out my post on the DW Jukebox forum for additional info. Thanks
Hi Robert. This is awesome!!! Where can i find the plans to build one please?
Sorry no plans. But do have some rough schematics and programming info. If your Interested, you can email at rlboring.aol.com Thanks for the complement.
ca fait longtemps que je n avais pas vu un travail aussi beau

GERARD CABOT thank you
This look absolutely amazing. Very well done! I'm so impressed that I'm trying to make a similar one myself. Today I managed to get the programmable LED strips working. Could you share what keyboard buttons, required components and LEDs you have used in your project and where I could get those or similar products?
Thank you for the compliment. I ordered most of my parts for the JB build from Amazon. Try searching on square arcade switches. Also I do have a list of hardware and a very rough material list I used that I could email if you like. Love to see pics of your project once you finish. I am presently working a virtual pinball cabinet at the present time . 😁
@@robertboring4070 Thanks for your swift reply. Would you send the information to Th783@hotmail.com? I think my project will be very long-term, but I will let you know if I succeeded ;) I would love to see the results of your virtual pinball cabinet aswell:)
You've made a first class job there.
enm898 thank you. It was a lot of work but wife really likes it
Looks very good! Really professional! I have some questions. Are the tubes transparent or matte? What dimensions do the tubes have? Nice led lights! Are there any special led lights that move in "waves" through the pipes? Thank you for an inspiring movie! Helps me a lot in my plans to build a jukebox!
Thank you for the compliment. The tubes are semi transparent 1 1/4. See link below to the web site where I ordered them.
As for the LED strips, I used 3 strips of alitove WL812B 5 m 300 RGB wired in parallel using one Alitove sp103E mini-rf controller. The 3 strips can also be programmed to run in serial mode and a custom mode which runs from the Arduino mega. I hope to write my own custom code for the arch layout when I get some free time. Please keep me posted on your JB project. I would like to see pics when completed.

Thanks so much! I will send pictures! I'll just buy some machines before I get started!
Very nice job!
Thank you. It was very fun project.
I really like the sparkle effect inside the dome. May I ask what you used to produce the dome light show?
Sorry I do not remember the manufacture but if you search for rgb disco balls you should be able to find something that will come close
Hello Robert, I hope you are well.
do you have any Arduino program files for controlling the LED strips in the front pipes?
best regards
Rob
Yes I do and I will be happy to send you a copy of it. However, I can not take credit for writing most of the code. I adapted some of it from this site www.tweaking4all.com/hardware/arduino/adruino-led-strip-effects/
thank you very much for the offer, i really appreciate it. How can you send me the code?
Should I send my email address? or do you upload it to the cloud?@@robertboring4070
Wow!
Can I ask how do you route and stick the leds inside the tubes?
Tied a string to end of led strip and used vac to suck string through tubes then pulled leds into tubes making sure leds stayed in same orientation. 😊
complimenti sei stato molto bravo
Thank you very much for the compliment.
OMFG AMAZING WORK I LOVE IT THIS JUKEBOX MAGIC ;)
Maybe he'll try his hand at building something similar and thank you for vein :P
Thank you It was a fun rewarding project. Also I am presently building a virtual pinball machine and will be posting video later
halo, great project and great done!
I would like to ask you how to solve the wiring of the control buttons. Thank you
Thanks for the compliment. I solve the wiring and control by using a ATmeg32u4 micro controller processor. It has 32 inputs pins and can simulate a mouse and keyboard which can communicates using USB protocols to the PC Hope that helps 😁
Awesome Project....do you have detailed instructions on how to make? I agree there is nothing out on the net on how to make one of these.
Thanks for the compliment. Sorry I only have a rough set of notes during the build which I could send you
@@robertboring4070 please send me.. fordentinc@gmail.com thank you
very cool.
Thank you. Be sure to watch “Jackie’s Jukebox display” video too.
That looks amazing what are the measurements?
The overall dimensions are 58 inches high, 34 inches wide, and 22 inches depth. I’ll be happy to answer any other questions or provide you with any info I can
Hi! Good evening! Happy New Year to you and the whole family. I'm subscribed to your channel, your work is very beautiful. I live in Brazil, I love jukebox and I'm trying to build one. Can you make your project available with all the measurements and materials you made yours? Thanks for sharing the beautiful work.
Thank you for the compliment. I ordered most of my parts for the JB build from Amazon. Also I do have a list of hardware items and a very rough material list I used that I could email if you like.
Hello Robert,
I am very impressed with your work,
do you have a blueprint and instructions for building this jukebox?
I would be very happy to receive an answer.
a happy new year for you and your family
greeting
Robert Sel
Robert Sel Hello Robert. Thank you for the compliment. It was fun project to do and we enjoy it very much. Sorry I only have a very rough set of notes for this build. I have been planning on putting something better on paper do to the request I have had for it but never find the time yet. Thanks
HI
Robert I'm Gabriele again thank you for the measurements you gave me of your jukebox so now that I'm going to build it I really know what I'm going to have to do with I just wanted to ask you for another piece of information could you give me the wiring diagram of the software keys dwjukebox I also have the same program that you installed in your jukebox that you installed tested it and it works perfectly it currently works temporarily on my classic keyboard of my pc what is needed to make those keys of the jukebox work in addition to that sotware that I already have because I or another scheme that works on the program which is called raspberry pi but i dont think it is good on dw jukebox sotware in fact i program i fruitbox v2 ed was made for raspberry pi sotware and it would be clone of dwjukebox and i dont know if it is good the same nothing, I await your reply. best regards, Gabriele
Hello Gabriele, I used a Arduino Nano Board to interface with my PC as a Keyboad, I also used a Arduino Mega Board for the power and lighing controls. I do have some rough electric schematics, parts listing and Arduino program codeing I can send you if you can supply me with your E-mail address.
do you have the wiring diagram for the lights im thinking about building something like this
Hello Eddie. I do have a some rough draft notes I can send you. Give me a day or two to find them and a email address to send them to you. If you build one I would love to see pictures.
@@robertboring4070 my email address is eddiegravestock@hotmail.com anything you've got to do with it will help
Once I get started I'll keep you updated
Thank you
Is there any chance you can send me your Arduino program to do those effects
Hello Kyle, The default led program I am using in the first video for the Tube leds is a Alitove controller ( see description below ) that I purchase from Amazon for $11.00. The controller auto-runs a lot of different effects which you can select remotely. However, I wanted some special effects for my Arch Led Strips layout so I customized a arduino sketch for the second video that can be downloaded from www.tweaking4all.com/hardware/arduino/arduino-all-ledstrip-effects-in-one/
Due to the 3 Tube Strips layout and the way I hardwired them to the relay interface panel, it was a real challenge getting the arduino sketch to sync the LEDs to get the effects to work correctly. Take a look at the Tweaking44all.com site. Hans does a super job explaining how the effect works.
Hope his helps.

147cm H
56cm D
Hope that helps and thank you for the compliment
Can it only play 2 records at a time?
The two records are for display only. It uses unlimited number of mp3 song format controlled by the DW Jukebox software. Presently I have over 700 hundred songs that can be selected manual or auto random.
Too bad we can only like, because it deserves 123456789.... likes.
