- Boe is a hackney pony we intercepted from auction through our February Buy Out rescue mission. He was initially thought to be blind in both eyes, but our veterinarians soon discovered that he could still see out of his right eye. Since he no longer needed surgery, he was turned out to pasture and became a companion for a recently weened baby named Junior. It didn't take long after that for Boe to find his forever home.
Boe's Story was only possible due to the support of our generous donors. The role you play is pivotal in rescuing, sheltering, and protecting horses. Remember, horses like Boe get a second chance solely because of compassionate individuals like you. We urgently need your continued support.
We rescue horses of all species, ages, training levels and colors. No animal is ever turned away at our Open Admission Shelter!

Fabulous story. This is a win-win-win-win tale of joy, quadruple win: for the horse, Boe, for his new horse-buddy, for the new owner and grandkids, and for Horse Plus! Woo-hoo!
Those kid's are Dr Lydia children, they ride at the ladies house.

I am so glad you are telling rescue stories now in this format as well! Boe’s story is just so heart touching. Just thinking where this sweet boy could have ended up - and what kind of fate could have awaited him. And now he has his happily ever after, I am so glad he was rescued and given his second chance!

He's a love❤ so happy for that little pony that he has ended up at his forever home. I think that his name will suit him more if the spelling was changed from "Boe" to "Beau". In french it means " lovely"
